Brilliant video. I'm heading to Anchorage in July with the plan to cycle to Mexico so your video has been a fantastic preview of what's to come. Your Japan video has also been a great help as I will be cycling there too in May-June. Keep up the great work.
Sounds amazing! I definitely want to cycle Alaska sometime. Hopefully my next videos are also useful if you're thinking of taking a more inland route! You'll love Japan too!
Awesome. Im planning a trip from Sparwood into B.C. through the Elk Valley Trail and into others...But I have to figure out how to afford a bike first lol and time off from my job
Good luck! Time off is the hardest thing for most people. For my first trip I flew to Barcelona and bought the cheapest mountain bike in Decathlon for around €120! Go with whatever you can afford.
Thanks for publishing another fantastic video of you Canadian trip. I have been up to Whistler mountain but not as remote as your travels take you. You are brave wild camping with the threat of bears, I think I would be in a camp site where possible! After watching your Hebredian way trip I asked you what camera you were using. On your advice I bought a GoPro hero 5 black. I have used it on a trip to Salzburg in January. Great quality but cannot figure out how to Zoom in with it. Any advice on how to zoom? Keep making the interesting videos.😀
It's not possible to zoom with a GoPro. I probably recommended my Canon Powershot for zoom. It is possible to give a slight zoom effect when you're editing the clip, by cropping it. I did this to see the bear at 5.55. But you lose some of the quality. The bear clip at 4.14 is from my Canon Powershot.
Yeah. I usually feel pretty safe when cycling. My only worry is usually the cars, but I didn't have many problems with this in Canada. The icefield parkway from Jasper to Banff has a big shoulder!
Wow amazing scenery! Great to see you again on your tours.
Thanks! And I think the scenery gets even better in Alberta!

Awesome vid! Did you feel safe cycling? I am looking into doing Calgary to Vancouver through Banff and Jasper
