    I have suzuki address v50g 49cc scooter it's a fuel injection scooter but it's not starting however the spark plug is fine and supplying the electric current. Than what happened is fuel inection malfunctioned ?

    • @VirberelloScooterTips
      @VirberelloScooterTips  Před 8 měsíci

      If your Suzuki Address V50G 49cc scooter is not starting and you've confirmed that the spark plug is fine and receiving an electric current, the issue could indeed be related to the fuel injection system. Here are some steps to diagnose and address the problem:
      Fuel Supply: Check the fuel supply to the injector. Make sure there is sufficient fuel in the tank, and the fuel lines are not kinked or obstructed. Ensure that the fuel pump is functioning properly. You can listen for the sound of the fuel pump when you turn the ignition on.
      Fuel Filter: Inspect the fuel filter for clogs. A clogged fuel filter can restrict fuel flow and cause starting issues. Replace it if necessary.
      Fuel Injector: The fuel injector itself could be clogged or malfunctioning. You might need to remove it for inspection and cleaning. If cleaning doesn't resolve the issue, it might need replacement.
      Throttle Body: Check the throttle body for any obstructions or malfunctions. Make sure the throttle body is clean and functioning correctly.
      Sensors: Fuel injection systems rely on various sensors to determine the air-fuel mixture. Check for any sensor malfunctions. Common sensors include the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, oxygen sensor, and engine coolant temperature sensor.
      Fuel Pump Relay: Check the fuel pump relay to ensure it's sending power to the fuel pump when the ignition is turned on.
      ECU (Engine Control Unit): The ECU controls the fuel injection system. It could be faulty or have a programming issue. If all else fails, a diagnostic scan tool might be necessary to check for error codes and ECU-related issues.
      Wiring and Connectors: Inspect all wiring and connectors related to the fuel injection system to ensure there are no loose or damaged connections.
      Fuel Quality: Ensure that the fuel in the tank is of good quality and not contaminated.
      Compression: While this is less likely, it's still worth checking the engine's compression to ensure it's within the manufacturer's specifications.
      If you've gone through these steps and the scooter still doesn't start, it may be best to consult a qualified mechanic or Suzuki service center, especially if the scooter is under warranty. They will have the tools and expertise to diagnose and repair the issue with the fuel injection system.

      J.C.! You're being ripped off big time. Do yourself a favor and find a decent repair shop. If that's 300 USD it would be enough to get several brand new parts. Your problem is probably related with some carburetor clogging issues. Usually due to lack or inefficient fuel filter system. Electrical side i.e. CDI, ignition, plug... could certainly be another.

    Does it matter the size of the fuel fuel to the more gas to give him more power

    • @VirberelloScooterTips
      @VirberelloScooterTips  Před rokem +1

      The size of the fuel filter does not directly affect the power output of a scooter or any internal combustion engine. The primary function of a fuel filter is to remove impurities and debris from the fuel before it reaches the engine. Its main purpose is to ensure the engine's proper functioning and protect it from potential damage caused by contaminated fuel.
      The power output of a scooter or any engine is determined by various factors, including the design and displacement of the engine, the air-fuel mixture, ignition timing, exhaust system, and overall efficiency. These factors are typically controlled by the scooter's manufacturer and are not directly influenced by the size of the fuel filter.

      If your gas scooter is not starting, there could be several possible reasons for this issue. Here are some common causes to consider:
      Fuel-related issues: Check if there is enough fuel in the gas tank. Ensure that the fuel valve is open if your scooter has one. Additionally, make sure the fuel is not stale or contaminated.
      Spark plug problems: A faulty or dirty spark plug can prevent your scooter from starting. Remove the spark plug and inspect it for signs of damage or fouling. If necessary, clean or replace the spark plug.
      Carburetor issues: The carburetor may be clogged or dirty, which can disrupt fuel flow and prevent the engine from starting. Cleaning or adjusting the carburetor might be required.
      Battery problems: If your gas scooter has an electric starter, a weak or dead battery can prevent it from starting. Check the battery charge and connections to ensure they are in good condition.
      Ignition system malfunction: A malfunctioning ignition switch, ignition coil, or other components in the ignition system can cause starting problems. Inspect these parts for any signs of damage or wear.
      Engine kill switch: Ensure that the engine kill switch is in the "on" position. Sometimes, it can accidentally get flipped to the "off" position, preventing the scooter from starting.
      If you have checked these common issues and your scooter still won't start, it might be best to consult a professional mechanic who can diagnose the specific problem and provide the necessary repairs.

Put it in the vacuum hose, pull the plunger. There's your vacuum on demand. Also takes seconds. My tool boxes always have a syringe, for decades. Extremely useful for a myriad of situations. Fuel, brakes, lubrication...
      Get a good and decent fuel filter. you'll go years, without cleaning a carb. It's that simple. And please do not take advise from people who have no clue what they are talking about. Set the OEM petcock in leave it well alone. Aptly the old adagio, if it's not broken... ;-)

      is to make sure your fuel never leak and if you put lots of modifications on your scooter a switch will provide a better fuel flow thank you for watching my video

    Is the fuel pump switch better than the vacuum fuel pump?

    • @VirberelloScooterTips
      @VirberelloScooterTips  Před 2 lety

      Hello Bobby Joe the switch is not a fuel pump but a switch is better because has a natural gravity flow from the tank to the carb

      @@crpth1why is it senseless and absurd??? It helps fuel flow better makes sense to me.

      One pass from a fully functional automatic system. Which, literally, millions of scooters and motorbikes use for decades. Without issues. So, now one spend time, money and absurd effort to go back. To a less functional system. That "better fuel flow" claim. Sorry to say. It's as senseless and absurd as the previous. Thankfully engineering is a rather clear science. 😉👍
