The motion tracking tool has become available with the latest update (get it here: bit.ly/32sdlaf), and you’ll be able to do SO MUCH with it:
- create moving titles
- apply a censorship filter that will follow a moving object
- assign images or videos to another object’s movement paths

This Editor is the best not gonna lie.
I love this! But how do you edit the trajectory? And can you edit the trajectory of the item you've attached the trajectory to? In other words - I have a video where i am putting another person's. I want it to line up as close as possible to the movement. I've added the head, but I want to be able to more precisely adjust the head. When going into the movement map to edit, you do not see your added image and you're having to guess where it is positioned if that makes sense.

Do I have to export the video in a particular way?? Because I can see it working in the preview but not in the final video(exported in AVI)
Hello, unfortunately, motion tracking is a Pro feature and you cannot export your project with it in the free version.
This is the best video editor!!! But it needs lots of time to learn

The automatic tracking can get lost at points due to the selected object shrinking. I know this can fixed easily by manually re- sizing the tracking window, but I would like to suggest an option to either user the window or a singular point.

Hello, track an object (for example, an eye), create a movement map and save it. Then create a mask for this eye with the free shape tool and apply a motion map to this shape.
Repeat the same steps for each object.

When i use the motion tracking and i start analyzing, it stops about 1 second. But when it does go perfectly it doesn’t follow my hand.

I'd like to know how to make an object appear to be moving on it's own without using stop-motion or green screen to do it. For example, I can get behind my Gumby and Pokey to move them across a scene, but then I'd have to make my hand invisible to make them appear to be moving on their own. I watched several tutorials on masking and movement map, but I'm just not getting it.

There's one thing I'm missing though. Once I've created a tracking map, I would like to be able to edit individual points in the map but while viewing the final video with the component I've applied the tracking map to. If I edit the map as you describe in the video, it takes me back to the original video and I can't see the part I'm moving. Sometimes, when I'm tracking faces, I need to tweak the track while seeing the final video.
Is there a way to edit individual frame positions in the tracking map while viewing the final video?
Alternatively, it would be great if the tracking map file was in text format so that I could edit coordinates with a standard text editor.

Are you able to smooth out the movement map? Like the text message in this case doesn't have to be exact so is there a way to smooth out jagged lines in the movement map since it is offset and doesn't have to be exact.

Is there any way of finding where the tracking track actually is, shame it's not visible on the timeline.. so you have to guess???? .. so you could look what time it comes in.. but you've got a big messy play arrow over the time menu..is it me or is that too complicated by far? I did get this to work after some hair pulling, and it looks pretty flash.

Nice and thanks for creating this. By way of suggestions, sometimes too many effects detract from the central goal of the video itself. In this case, the music does that. It detracts from this video- a good illustration of the concept that sometimes less is more. If the music were quieter and less of a change in beat across the video it would be ok. It is were more like white noise. But it drowns out the speaker. Not in volume but in impact.
