- Air Nostrum Trip Report flying from Madrid to Alicante on a CRJ1000 operated by the Iberia Regional division airline on a sunny autumn afternoon.
My first time in Alicante! I was getting so many msgs asking me to visit Alicante! And finally, here it's! It was an amazing experience to fly there on this little but comfortable plane. Alicante airport is also very nice. I will repeat as soon as the traffic restrictions are lifted.

Every time I look at the Spanish countryside from the air, I'm reminded of the Sergio Leone spaghetti westerns!

Estuve en barajas en el año 2014, es grandísima y muy bonita, me encanto.
Ya han pasado unos años desde entonces jeje Aunque la T4 no ha cambiado casi nada desde entonces.

I like the terminal 4 and 4S. The architecture looks so good.
But whenever I’ve been to MAD I’ve always been in a rush because I had to take the train to go to the satellite terminal.

Bueno, bueno! Ya queda cada vez menos! 2021 será el año en el que volveremos a volar sin ningún tipo de restricciones! Estoy convencido! Además, al menos al principio, estoy seguro de que lo valoraremos mucho más! Que ganas de volver a ir de vacaciones! Descrubir nuvos lugares!! :)
Excelente vídeo, bellas vistas del lugar de destino; genial ver que acá a Quito ya llega el A350 es un excelente y bello avión, mejor que el A340-600 que solía venir, espero algún día viajar a España en ese avión.

Para ser tan "viajador" como eres es rarísimo que no fueras antes a Alicante. Muy buen video y obviamente la terminal 4 de Madrid es la más bonita de Europa, sin contar Estambul. Saludos :)

This was my first time in Alicante! Weird, as I am Spanish and Alicante is one of the most popular destinations in Spain... but absolutely true! haha

He ido como unas 8 o 9 veces a Alicante desde Asturias, en mis veranos en Benidorm, y me encanta el aeropuerto y la ciudad, mucho ambiente. Espero que cuando toda esta pandemia termine, te animes a volar un Asturias-Alicante, la ruta es preciosa. Un saludo, buen video como siempre

La verdad es que no se si haré esa ruta, pero Asturias sí que es un destino que quiero visitar en cuanto sea posible! Además de volar otra vez en el B717 de Volotea!

The Madrid terminal has a beautiful ceiling. As the gateway to the country or city airports are the business cards of that country or city. Arriving foreigners can see how modern and efficient the people are and how the people of that country or city think about esthetics.
One reason why I also look at the ground service vehicles visible on this channel during plane spotting time.
Since 10-15 years all new airport built in Spain were designed with beauty also in mind. Something that I think was a great idea.
Alicante, Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga... new terminals are beautiful and completely different to the old ones. 😊✈

Hay lugares en Europa preciosos, pero España no se queda atrás. Galicia, Extremadura, Asturias. Los paisajes son impresionantes y más desde el cielo. Great flight ! Surprised with all the vacant air bridges at Alicante airport, you had to be bussed to the terminal ! Perhaps that is an economy measure for a Iberia Regional flight ?
As far as I know, the only place in the world where CRJ planes are attached to jetways is in the USA. And they use a special way, as it's almost impossible to attach the jetway when the stairs are included on the door hehe
Very nice video! I wanted to ask, what happens with the carry-on luggage? Does it go in the hold or if it's a backpack can I take it with me into the cabin?

Yes, you can take a small backpack with you. The carry-on is collected by the airline at the airplane door and they put it on a cargo hold. As soon as the plane arrives at the stand at the destination airport, the ground staff starts to offload those bags first and put them next to the airplane door. Passengers collect the carry-on from there.

La aeronave es un Mitsubishi ? Veo en el radar24h. , que Iberia regional utilizan una flota de Mitsubishi. ¿ es posible?

Es correcto. Inicialmente eran Bombardier, pero Mitsubishi compró toda la línea de producciónn los recnombró.
Espero poder traer al canal el A380 en 2021! :)

He leído unas cuantas veces que quieres venir a América, sería interesante que si vienes a América del Sur entraras por el caribe (La Habana) con Cubana y su IL-96 y salieras por Bolivia con Boa (Boliviana de Aviación). Pocas veces se muestran aviones rusos y una línea aérea boliviana. Un abrazo desde Santiago de Chile, América del Sur.

Pues la verdad es que no soy el más indicado par decir esto. Lo mejor que peudes hacer es mirar la normativa del estado de alarma. No vivo en España desde hace unos años, por lo que no estoy muy al tanto de las restricciones actuales. Según tengo entendido, ahora mismo se ha "desperimetrado" muchas áreas de la misma... por lo que quizás, y repito quizás, sea posible volar sin problema por dentro de España. Particularmente, si no sales del aeropuerto de destino no deberías tener ningún problema.

No, no, el aeropeurto de Alicante es mucho más grande y con muchísimos más pasajeros! Juegan en ligas totalmente distintas!
Alicante está al nivel de Málaga, Gran Canaria o Tenerife sur en lo que a número de pasajeros se refiere.

Labacolla tuvo 2,9 millones de pasajeros en 2019, mientras que el aeropuerto de Alicante tuvo 15,04 millones de pasajeros.
