- Poor acceleration repair for Citroen C1 / Aygo / Peugeot 107 / CityBug or any other car with 1KR/1KRFE engine.
If you have a P0010 or P0011 fault code, the car down on power, or feels generally flat then this is definitely worth checking.

I find the torque setting of "Tight, but not too tight." applies to a lot of things.
Makes sense that the VVT would have its own filter, lots of thin tubes pushing on cams.

The fiat multiair engine has a similar filter like this on the side of the engine that often gets overlooked

Got a shitbox that im working on which was given to me. Currently has 225000 miles on it. Everything still works even though it wasnt maintained all that well.
Did the timing chain last weekend as it was horribly stretched and rattling. Gained some power but will do this tomorrow as well
After 225k miles I’m sure there will be a bit of crud in it to clean out!
@StupidBlokeStupidVideos managed to ger her out after doing the ritual bashing of the knuckles against every bloody sharp corner in the engine bay, trying to fit a 8mm Allen key in.
Completely clogged up with hard chunks of oil. Couldn't get it 100% clean, but hell, it's a lot better than how it was.
We'll see tomorrow if there's any performance gains.
Next job, sanding the rust on the roof and respraying. Only in a couple of months, though, need to wait for summer as it's winter down here in South Africa.

Winters are mild but generally quite wet. It had been relatively dry so far, with temps dropping to around 12 degrees Celsius and peaking at 20.
There are some random cold spates that drop to 4 degrees but nothing hectic.
Didn't know my 107 shitter had one of those. It's very well maintained and runs perfectly though, so I think I will leave it alone for now. Thanks for showing us that it exists though!

Have you done a video on re-gassing the Air Con system? Apparently its possible to do at home, but it's not clear in other videos how much gas you should add, plus when to stop filling! Theres "DIY" kits on Amazon too apparently. 👍

@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos ok well thanks for your reply. There's a low pressure feed pipe where you connect the new AirCon topup gas canister via a hose. But what pressure to put in, is a grey area, other videos just say "that should be enough" 😂 hopefully nothing gets blown off!

@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos you know what? I took sparkplugs, cleaned and added ceramic paste to threads. Pvc valve did get tlc. Vvt solenoid: not one day too early, filter aswell, dirty af😂😂 well, 126.000km rolled 107. Not to be worry about.

Can you remove the cams without removing the chain tensioner and be able to reinstall the cams? Tia

@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos does the car still pass emissions on the MOT with the cat removed or do you have to refit the cat once a year? My cat is properly dead and I just clear the check engine light before it gets tested. It still passes emissions but only just. Really curious about the decat.
@@RetroGameTech no it won’t pass, every year I have the same job of fitting the cat for an hour, just to get it through MOT 🙄

I haven’t got a iPhone 11. I have got an iPhone 14 and my dad. He’s got the 14 pro which is a bigger and better phone than what I’ve got but I like the 14 the best because with my old phone for 12 mini you had a giant notch when you’ve got like your camera and your , ESP it looks like you’ve got a notch on the 14 but it’s just a little little one and 14 pros. I’ve got a dynamic Ireland I said Ireland in sort of an Irish accent.

Get the iPhone 14 it’s a lot better but you might not like it because the cameras are in a like I’ve seen the iPhone 13. It’s all a replica of that but like Photoshop.
