looking to get into the sxs sport and have been doing a lot of research. The KRX is easily one the most highly regarded in terms of factory suspension, build quality, performance and reliability. Like you said, some people would prefer more power options (turbo/supercharger) and I'm one of those guys. If this thing had a factory turbo option...I'd already have one on order. I did see a video reviewing a KRX with an Actionwerks supercharger system on it and the drivers of the machine gave it RAVE reviews. That supercharger set up is $6k though...and probably another $1000 to have it installed (just a guess). Kind of waiting to see if Kawi just designs and offers their own soon. If not....I may just buy the KRX and go with the aftermarket supercharger.

Dude any power adder is gonna cost ya big bucks. If it has one factory, it will be built into the price. You get what you pay for. Remember it's never on sale, it's always for sale. 😉

Thanks for your very through and honest review. I was on the fence on my next SXS but after watching this I think I will go with the KRX. Ive owned a 2005 Brute Force from Kawasaki since brand new and its been 100% reliable. I own a RZR right now and lately its one thing after another with that machine. Thanks again for the content. I have 6000 miles on mine had it for 1 1/2 years , mostly desert southwest riding with some logging atv’s style in Oregon . No major breakdowns . Did the same as Ray , shock therapy springs and shock revalve at 5000 miles clutch weights at 3000 changed belt , just because . The belt was still good but didn’t anyway . Put in rcor weights and trinity racing belt , which I am sure is the same belt as the bad ass belt . I snorkeled my engine intake to above the cab with a spectre oiled filter and have a K&N in the main air box . Never se any dust on the main filter with this setup . I also don’t notice any power loss for my type of riding . Over all I agree with Ray it’s the best SxS I’ve ever owned , I’ve had Yamaha and Honda and Artic cat . It rides absolutely beautiful . That’s what I like the best .

Great review, thinking now of getting the new 2023 KRX 1000 4es. I have had my mind set on a RZR Pro XP 4, but despite the horsepower difference the KRX sounds maybe more comfortable, is definitely a better looking machine and comes setup more how I wanted with a better low range in stock form. I am trying to be honest about how I ride and would probably just scare myself with the additional HP of the polaris. Honestly for me, the KRX 4 seater NA sounds about perfect.

In about 100 miles l will be at 6,000 miles, do not know why but l just changed my drive belt at 5,500 miles only because my next ride was going to be rough one with steep hills and alot of rocks. So l chickened out n replaced it only because it was a rough ride n not to many good places to replace a belt if it would of broke. the factory belt that came with the krx still looked great. I also just changed my plugs as well at the 5,500 mile mark. at 6,000 miles l will be taking out my right coast clutch weights to see how they r wearing, l installed them at 2,500 miles because the factory ones were sooooo bad. So at 6,000 miles l will have 3,500. on them so cannot wait to see how they r wearing. the only thing that l notice is when its hot at times she seems to have a low end stutter then l hit the peddle n she clears out. But other then that the KRX is awesome period!!! l have the 32x10r-15 sti xcomps tires on mine n love them and will get them again if these ever wear out lol. l have l will have 3,000 miles on them 100 miles from now n still have over 1/2 of the tread left.

This machine is a heavy tank and the drive train is too under built for forced induction. The reason a blower is not or turbo is not available is because marketers are finding durability problems with the clutching and transmission. My own (normal aspirated) 2021 KRX has been down since last March with a failed transmission. It was Dealer overhauled and still has problems! My machine lasted 300 miles! Stay on gravel roads for 7000 miles and it will be fine. Put it through its paces and you will have trouble!

You're one of the only ones I ever heard of having serious issues like that. But a clutch kit is recommended for upgrading, as it is with anything adding more power, you need to build to suit. We've upped the boost to 200hp on stock internals, been holding fine, maintenance is key, and correct AFR, with timing. Turbo is a lot less harsh on the motor, just watch your oil

Hey Im very happy to hear you enjoy it so far.
Following your videos (and helpful answers on the front knuckles) Im happy to say we went ahead and bought a 2020 machine :) So first of all thank you very much!
Its great and luckily after a while we got some small jobs through warrenty (sound system, front knuckles and few stuff more) and Im happy to say its an awesome machine.
The only weird thing I have is a clunky mettalic sound that comes from either front or back, possibly suspension, while going 20-25 mph on bumpy surface. Ive went on the KRX Forum and read its possibly the Crossover rings that gets hit when the suspension closes.
The garage said it didnt find anything bad or that requires a fix, on the forum they said its normal too, just annoying noise. Im not sure if replacing the rings (rubber ones under it) or re-adjusting them could help. Its in the garage now so I cant try it myself.
I wonder if you have some input about this small issue.
Thank you very much for your dedication to update us about your experience, drive safe!
