I actually thought the cursed tools were just a myth that people passed around to be dicks. I tried to get some of them and after getting down to floor 29 and searching the whole floor, I found nothing. I had no idea that they sometimes don't even spawn.
You have to have all the tools upgraded to mystrile, and when you are at mine, save before go down to level 29,39, 49, 59, 69, 79. if you cant find it, reload!

Cursed tools are really cursed. I load like 30 times for cursed watering can, still trying until now. Already got the other cursed one. Cursed my life. And lvl 69 is the biggest one. Cursed it
The cursed hammer will only appear on the 59th floor and it resets everytime you enter the floor. So I don't think trying another day would make a difference.
@Vlannytic You could probably find the ROM easily with a quick google search. Don't forget the cursed tools don't always appear on the floor. Sometimes you have to reload, it took me about an hour of trying for some of the tools to appear.

You save your game on the level you are on. Then you go on to find the stairs or the item. Once you know where the stairs are, load your previous game that you just saved on that level. Then straight away get to the stairs. That helps to save your energy and allows you to go deeper.
My method is to exploit the fact that you have two save slots. First when you enter a floor save in Slot 1 and then dig around until you find the stairs and remember the spot. Then reload your Slot 1 save and go directly to the stairs. Then save in slot 2 and go down the stairs. Then repeat until you reach the floor you want; reloading Slot 2 if the stairs don't appear to reset the floor.

you can also get it by the harvest goddess by throwing in offerings 10 days in a row. I just threw it in flowers. :D Also, you can get power berries at horse races by the mayor.
normal- heres a tip don't use it only use it when theres a festival during festivals your stamina won't go down and your fatigue won't increase and the fishing rod is only two good reasons are cause you can catch king fishes but you'll trow it away afterwards and so you can get mythic stones that are found on spring level 60 better than blessed tools
Yeah, there's always at least one that takes fricking FOREVER to spawn. Whenever I have to do this kind of rare-item farming, I usually mute the sound and put on like an audiobook or something. Or more recently, have my emulator off to the left, and a window to the right with some Simpsons episodes or something playing. Either way, it helps pass the time a little better.

I think you have to give him gifts a lot, but I'm not sure if you're supposed to do it once every day or just give a lot. I heard giving him honey helps better than most items.

I have found it, I've been trying different floor configurations and eventually found it. But now I've been trying to find the hammer for example, I've tried all possible floors and still cannot find it. Every time I reload the floors they are the same ones I have dug through before, without success. Should I try again another day?

i think the hardest are finding hammer and secondly is fishing rod! i have reloaded 20 times but still cant find cursed hammer geez! maybe because hammer and fishing rod are the only thing that can unlock something, not only strong tools. u have to save first before the floor u wanna go in so that if the item is not there, u can load and find it again. otherwise u have to start from the top

You have to go on Mon or Wed between 1-4pm. He'll be in the confessional where you can remove cursed tools.
You just have to make it a snowy day, then he will be there regardless of what day it is.
