Chef Tina is back with a cooking video!
Zen and lyla were matching 😊
Love eating the mini sushi bake super yummy
yay
Why, their is three comment??😅
Hiii Tina❤ i luvvv your channel and I luvv your videos and you are always a gorgeous women!!❤😍
The air fryer had nothing to do with the cookies being crispy on the outside and bready on the inside. You have to be exact with the sugar and flour the recipe called for. You had to add more flour because you had reduced the amount of sugar the recipe called for. That is why it seemed to not be making the dough you wanted.
Came here to say the same thing 😁👍
yeahhh lol i cringed when she adjusted the recipe, baking is not like cooking where you measure with your heart, youve gotta be exact!
@BrookeRyde measuring with the heart, best thing I've ever heard about baking!
This!! Baking is a science, cooking is an art. Baking needs to be precise to turn out right, you shouldn't mess with the recipe unless you're an experienced baker. Cooking is much more forgiving with adjusting and making changes.
I was nearly screaming at my phone when you went of your measurements on your cookies, there is a reason the measurements is there, trust me- I’ve tried and failed too😂
Love Zen‘s outfit. She‘s glowing.
Right? her makeup looks so good here too
With chocolate chip cookies, it is important to put in the proper amounts of sugar. It affects the texture of your cookies. Baking, unlike cooking, is presice. It matters.
"It's kind of like bready." That has to do with the sugar amounts and the flour.
It usually takes me an hour to make chocolate chip cookies, but that is because I chill my dough.
Any idea why my choc chip cookies always come out of the oven flat as a pancake? I follow the recipe to a T, chill the recipe, why?! They spread and go so so so thin 😩😭
@@CM-wf2uo It might just be your oven tbh. You can get an oven thermometer to make sure it's heating up to the correct temperature. My gas oven goes over what the numbers on the knob said so that's what I had to do.
Thanks for the tip!
@@CM-wf2uo Hmm, maybe make ball shapes and then chill in the freezer for a little while. Maybe this helps.
When I make them, I experienced colder the dough makes thicker cookies.
Also using the right brown sugar would help it too.
Tina and Zenn are looking so good today like the makeup the fit everything's perfect 🥰
I love the bond Zenn has with little Lyla
I'm little bit clueless here
Who is zen though???😅
As a new viewer, same, but from what I've gathered she and Tina are friends and Zenn works with Tina with the filming and probably editing parts of the channel. @@lilimangtamin9435

How love how she lets Layla cook with them ❤ it’s so precious
Ah, there's a reason why you want to stick to the intended measurements when baking, lesser sugar compromises the soft chewy texture in your cookie and results in a flatter cake. I'd play safe and stick to the amounts stated usually but if I do want to reduce the sugar, it would only be about 20 to 30% reduction, so I do get as close as I can get to the original texture. That said, different types of sugar used will also yield different results.
Thanks for the tips!
4:26 Alfred and Zen in sync 🤣
The amount sugar to butter ratio is very important for the cookie's texture and yes it's a lot of sugar 😅
Tina there are little tabletop ovens that you can buy, sometimes refer to as toaster ovens, that could help with the fact you don't have an oven in your kitchen. Really lovely video as usual.
That wasn’t brown sugar you used, it was raw sugar or demarera sugar and white sugar. Brown sugar is made with molasses so its quite molten (moves a little like lava when you touch it in its uncooked state) and has a rich caramelised flavour and chewiness in baked goods. You’ll notice a difference in the way the cookie bakes both texturally too. A recipe’s sugar to flour ratio is also important ie more flour=more cakey /bready texture. Hope that helps a little ❤
Raw sugar is essentially brown sugar in its unprocessed form. Where do you think the molasses used in "man-made" brown sugar comes from? It just removes the process of separating the sugar from the molasses then recombining them.
I'm in love with these cooking videos. Please don't ever stop them. Also, love both your outfits today but head-chef is the clear winner😂❤
Girllll, you're such a vibeee!! You're so fun to watch, 2 mins of your video and you already find your mood uplifted ❤️ love ya
I think the problem with the cookies was Tina used a "brown" sugar that was just normal sugar less refined to be white, the recipe uses brown sugar and white sugar because "Brown sugar" has a natual molasses content which makes it sticky. That's why the tiktok's brown sugar fell in clumps and Tina's flowed freely from the bag. If it's not clumpy and sticky it's not the right brown sugar.
Is there anything that you can substitute the real brown sugar with? I’m from Germany and we only have the ‚fake‘ one here that she also used in the video :(
@@cecazy If you're able to find molasses you can make it yourself using white sugar -- the ratio is about 200g white sugar to 12-25 grams molasses and you can just mix them together. If molasses is hard to find I've used dark treacle as a substitute, or google says you can use Zuckerrübensirup too. If you're able to find dark muscovado sugar, I've also used that as a substitute, but it's a bit drier than standard US brown sugar.
Always love watching your cooking videos Tina!❤️

You both look so pretty i can't
The biscuits may not have turned out like hers because you do need the right amount of sugar. The two different types of sugar helps with the chewyness
Your cooking videos are the best 😂❤❤
I always enjoy your cooking videos 😍😍
Love these videos ❤
I love the cooking vidoes!
I loved this kind of video😊🥰
Oml zen looks sm like a K-pop idol I love the makeup thanks for the recipes will be trying them for movie night
Takes me half a day to make cookies because I have to let the dough rest and 'marinate' in the fridge for 8 hours++ ✨ Also, I bake mine in the air fryer too!
Hi Tina.I love your cooking videos.❤️❤️
6:41 aww everyone waiting for her 💖
Watching you is always a treat to my heart😂😭❤️❤️❤️

Omg Tina love u ❤️
I didn’t realize how simple that Thai chicken basil dish was going to be. I have to start putting it in the rotation.
Just made Sushi Tuna Bake. It is awsome!
Proud of her baby! She’s learning about anything good or bad. Can’t wait to see her baby become chef!
The pink salt pour had me! 😂🥰
Woah im early , i love you doing this series
Layla's thumbs up... I CAN'T! SO CUTEEEE
omg Zenn looks so pretty and layla is so cute T-T
Zen and lyla were matching 😊
Can you pleaseee do trying out Nara Smith's from scratch recipes? 🥺🥰
Lila is the cutest head chef 💕 so many double thumbs this video!!! Love you guys!!!
Whenever it’s something Tina in Kitchen I click on it instantly no wasting time guys 💗😌
Cute (: The cookies were probably a bit breadier and fluffier due to over working the flour, which causes a more glutenous texture to form.
lyla is so pretty im mesmerized
Little trick, if you want smooth spinach blend, blend it frozen, not fresh. Don’t know why, but works as magic 😉
U r the best❤️
I really can get over how smart Layla is at her age. I need tips for my future kids😂
1:58 when Tina said my mayo is getting excited 🥴👀
Spicy Thai basil chicken-add a fried egg on top. It’s the best!
Love these videos ! I believe the difference of texture for the cookies is because the dough from the receipe video is chilled (so much for the 10min video 😂)
Omg I am so early I love your videos 😊
Yesssss Chef Tina is back! And of course chef Zenn ❤
9:20 Schar makes gnocchi? I’m a Coeliac and I love so much of their stuff. I wonder if I can find the gnocchi here (Australia).
For that baked sushi.. You can use canned salmon too...
Can't believe Lyla will turn 2 this month. It feels like yesterday when you announced you are pregnant. Time went so fast.
“That was sooo lame” 😭
Love your cooking videos ❤️❤️
Yay! Thank you!
Lyla is basically the mini version of zen 😂 which is so cute
Omg you should make a video “ cooking like Nara Smith “
layla so cute🥺💓
Pink is Zens color for sureeeee
Lyla be helper! Also, Zen is great with Lyla.
amazing video
love that you say gnocchi correct
I would like to see a video of Zen's skin routine, she has beautiful skin. 😍
Love you all❤
Love from Ghana 🇬🇭
Double thumbs up☝🏻☝🏻
"It's just a garnish, it's just to make it pretty, it's fine," and Tina went ahead to chomp down the biggest mouth of tuna rice😂
I made that spinach gnocchi because it looked so pretty and the woman in the video sold me on it but it was NASTY. Idk what I did wrong and I'm too scared to try again. Also that brand of gnocchi is gluten free so I'm not sure if that was intentional, but generally gluten free stuff has textural issues compared to the real deal.
Would love to see more airfryer recipes, i dont have an oven too 😅😅
Noted!
The music
It is so loud🫨🫨
I've noticed a lot of American baking recipes have an obscene amount of sugar. I generally half the amount and its still too sweet.
Tina you're looking so youthful in this video...your hair the outfit the lip shade everything is looking so fresh 😍❤✨️
Layla is so cute she stole the entire video 😬😬😬😂😂😂 sorry mama shes definitely taking your throne very soooon!! ❤❤❤
Tuna Yong🤣❤
Love you ❤
Those cookies came out crisper cause you used some white sugar as well! Different types of sugar matters :D
Tuna Yong😭😂
You did a Brendan video - we love Brendon's stuff at our house 😋🥰
More airfryer recipe 💗 it's amazing if you'll try some of plan d airfryer recipe
The reason your batter was more wet, could also be because of the weather. Humidity in the air can impact the batter.
Cute little chef LYLA 🫶🏻🥺
Lala is the best part of this ❤❤
