After visiting the worst reviewed hotel of Moldova, I went to it's alleged brothel Hotel. This felt like a full episode of Hotel Hell with Gordon Ramsay - I struggled to spend 24 hours in this unbelievable place.

That gypsy kid was also a little bit suspicious for me , who booked the nearest room in same time with U guys . But the unlockable balcony door really showed me that , they wanted to rob you! Trust me , i'm just 300km away living from Moldova and nobody leaves the doors be opened like that all the time. Full scam

I forgot the name of the hotel that we booked a non-smoking room, but they gave us a smoking room that was so bad, that not only we had to take showers in the next hotel, but also wash everything we had in our bags. So not only we smelled like we rolled in stale cigarette ashes, but it smelled like we rubbed everything in our bags in it too.

Try the "Wolf Trap Hotel" in Vienna Virginia. (Very welcoming name, I know.) The staff was very kind and happy to help us when got a room with a leaking toilet. Then our replacement room had Colt .45 malt liquor bottle caps literally hammered into the ceiling cross beams by some previous guests. Absolute shit hole of a motel. But on a positive note, the staff was genuinely very friendly and really trying their best. And personally I thought the bottle caps were a nice touch to the room. Gave it character.

I love the fact that the receptionist was trying to scam you again by calling an overpriced taxi for you guys(a glamorous final touch from her).
Typical for shitty hotels across the world especially in developing countries when foreigners visit I understand they don’t have much money but scamming is wrong

This was definitely the worst hotel of them all, considering it was dirty, the other guest could’ve walked in your room, got scammed and the receptionist was rude and lied.
To be fair, if you bring the blue light to major hotels you will find strange stuff too. The way you asked about brothel was too direct, nobody would say yes 😃

To be honest, I have the same UV lamp and I tried it in every room of my flat. My kitchen was full of glowing spots and splatters that COULD NOT (trust me on that) be semen, urine or blood since I've painted it all 2 years ago. I could not identify the cause and I guessed it might have something to do with the SOAP of cleaning stuff. My bathroom was even worse and as a guy having OCT I clean it up regularly and thoroughly. My shower was literally covered with spots and it could ONLY be SOAP or SHAMPOO. Toothpaste, mouthwash and hair stuff were glowing when I tested.
Remember there a many different wavelengths in UV, just like the colors in visible light, infrared or radio so this specific LED UV lamp may not project the right wavelength for sperm or blood. There are specialized lamps for it.
I've tested it with pee, blood and sperm and only pee glowed visibly.
So, good news: your UV lamp isn't necessarily showing the stuff you think it does
but bad news: it isn't showing the stuff you want it to show you.
there is some blood when you cook raw meat sir.
There is also a lot of saliva in a kitchen.
Spoons, glasses, plates, sink, trash ...
There's as much mouth dejections in a kitchen than genitals dejections in toilets and even more of both in a bathroom.

I did actually get a room there this summer when I was visiting my then girlfriend... I had strange vibes from the moment I walked through the hotel door. They offer to book the room for an hour or two, so yea, it's probably a brothel. It was raining heavily so we ended up staying for almost an hour then I went and asked for part of my money back and we left. I wanted to be fair and pay for the hour we watched TV there and they charged more than for one hour. I met the same receptionist, but you should have seen her colleague... she looked like she supplied the girls for the hotel :))

@@AutoExpectations I didn't know about it's history, I only saw the rent by hour thing when we got there. And if you read again, it was raining heavily, so I didn't have much choice for the moment.

In a weird way I liked her. The whole place is a total mess, but her laugh when "fixing" the balcony door was somehow uplifting. She has one of the worst jobs one could imagine.

She's definitely a scammer. Of course, hotels can make mistakes and assign to you a room that is already taken in which case they upgrade you to a most expensive one and don't make you pay the extra charge. That's how it is supposed to work anywhere around the world.
Yes, i'm a receptionist and we never charge more than previously agreed on, even if we give them a better room due to administrative mistakes

It seemed like she was also trying to deny that the initial 200 was ever even paid. Like they had to twist her arm to make her 'remember'. Meaning she was likely trying to get 300 extra between the altered room price and the upfront payment.
I also would wonder about the questionable NOT "upgraded" room they avoided. What would have been there?

Watching this is a strange multiscale experience: looking at the room first from a far, I was thinking "damn that looks quite neat even, I have been to faaar worse looking places in my life, just two weeks ago in central Afrika..." but then you zoom in on the furniture and I am like "oh no, never seen anything like this - ever."

Damn, when I have seen those bloody stains on the sheets, first thing I thought “bed bugs” they suck your blood and they’re really hard to get rid off, as soon as you took the blanket out and a bug drops out I started laughing out loud, I am glad you didn’t sleep there, usually bed bugs don’t spread disease but well, you never know who the bugs have bitten before, take care they can hide in your stuff, don’t bring them to your home.

The same as the balcony situation.. I got a room in a cheap hotel in London, England and my door handle was falling off and would not lock! The solution, they used a drill to fix it back on.. but that gave me anxiety knowing that anyone could go and remove this. I had to stay there for a few nights and it was scary lol especially being a girl alone.

Slavic languages are similar to each other. Polish, Slovak and Czech are Western Slavic languages. So as a Polish girl, I understand Peter well. Russian is harder, but you can deduce from the context :) I have been on vacation in the Balkans several times. And whether it is Croatia, Montenegro or Bulgaria, it is possible to communicate in Polish.
I am a native speaker of a Germanic language and I study Slovak. And I find I can understand quite a bit of Polish :)
@@bamereg Yea, for poles slovak is the easiest to understand forigen language. Czech is bit harder. But well, i cant understand shit out of Russian/Ukrainian/Belarusian.
But tbh i feel like western slavic languages are highly influenced by german. And i mean words like "kartofle" (kartoffeln), ogórek (gurke; you read "ó" as "u"), cel (zeil), and many, many, many more. It was big surprised for me when i was learning german.

As someone who has a uv light:
You can clean your whole house nicely and still see stains with uv light. Usually most are around toilet, sinks, if there is any water splash that had some detergent/ soap in it you will see that with a uv light.
Bonus info: i once painted with uv colors, and my hands were covered with uv paint. I washed my hands until I could not see any paint. Then I turned on the UV light and it looked like I didn't even wash my hands. My hands were glowing under uv light for 1 week afterwards 😁
Exactly what I thought. I bet you can see stuff with the uv lamp even in some more expensive hotels. The only unacceptable thing about this hotel really is the price. 35€ is not cheap for Moldova standards

They are very common around these parts. They somehow find a way in regardless of well you isolate. They are the dumbest bugs you've ever seen and are pretty easy to dispose. With how that balcony door looked, there's no chance that was the only bug. That is really not the fault of the hotel.
You were damn right they were laughing at you, especially at the door knob part. They spoke a bit of Romanian so I understood a bit. What a joke, had you spent the night there you wouldn't have found your iPhone, cameras nor wallet the next day.

There is a bacteria tester wich Gordon Ramsay uses while rewiewing hotels ,so you could maybe buy a bacteria tester to test the contamination in bad hotels.

If you watched the video you could see he clearly didn't understand what her replies were .... The numbers are similar and if you try to speak slow and repeat everything 3 times with a different vocabulary, then yes you might understand one of the three words and thus the sense of the sentence
He did, it’s pretty easy to understand each other on a basic level ☺️ but generally Polish-Czech-Slovak and Russian-Belarusian-Ukrainian are the most alike

De asta si emigratia e asa de mare, si de asta si problema cu prostitutia, ati fost abandonati, lasati sa va descurcati doar prin agricultura, desi sunteti mult mai inteligenti, mai capabili si mai frumosi decat popoarele Europei de vest. I'm just letting you know, the UV light stuff from near the sink was probably spit (saliva) because of people brushing their teeth. That's obviously just my guess
