- Had a fantastic day with princess at the Great British Motor Show event, Billy was so excited he rorted into the arena into the middle of the wrong class 😂😂🤔😂😂

😂😂😂 yes he always helps albeit sometimes in a very grumpy fashion but we couldn’t manage a classic car without him 😍

Well done family Walden. A great fun video. Princess looked great and even met up with one of her her sisters. The interview went really well Matilda. The confusion with Billy entering the arena was a fun point as well and handled very well by your mum and Billy. A great playout song was the icing on the cake. It's great that more younger people appreciate classic vehicles and stuff to pass on the knowledge to keep these historical icons going. Many thanks for sharing. Fantastic!! Its a great feeling isn't it !!! The lovely interviewer said it perfectly with "its young people like you who are keeping motoring heritage alive". Absolute kudos to you Matilda for achieving this recognition, its an extremely important role to do this. I have just bought my first British car at an Auction in the UK myself. I live in Australia, so she has to be shipped over, but its exciting to be these motor car's keepers! Well done you and your family!!

Another great video Matilda😊. I'am really pleased that you and Billy had a great day with Princess🚗 at the Great British Motor show. I wish you many more great shows and good times with her. I really think that are few things better than owning a classic car and taking it to cae shows like this. I have a classic car too called Harry and he is a 1992 Ford Escort Mk5, a Limited Edition 'Harrier'version. So he is a bir younger than Princess.I've owned him for 11 years now and could never part with him🛻 He was a Concours finalist last year at *Festival of the Unexceptional* at Grimsthorpe Castle in Lincolnshire. You really should get Billy to drive you and Princess to this one because it's a huge show and Princess would be perfect for it. It's on the last Saturday in July each year and there are lots of unusual cars there that you just won't see anywhere else.
Your car sounds wonderful, mines certainly not in concours condition but it is very tidy 😊

I'm viewing from New Zealand. I like your Vanden Plas. Very nice condition it's in. We had many Austin / Morris 1100s and 1300s on the roads here in the 1960s/ early 70s. They were assembled here and sold well. The Vanden Plas wasn't. Then the Austin Allegro was released. The Austin Maxi and Morris Marina were popular here too.

Princess truly looked splendid as of course did the LT. Love how laid back Billy is and the way he just takes it all in his stride.
I remember actually driving that model of Peugeot 205 when they were still brand new and scary to think they are now considered a classic - seems like only yesterday.
The song at the end really made a great outro, and quite soulful.

I drove a friends MG TC. One of best experiences. I was like wearing it rather than sitting in it. Also like a 190 SL Mercedes. Nice 4 speed and wonderful control. Would be a nice daily driver if it were not so valuable.

The Vanden Plas Princess is based on the Austin-Morris 1100/1300 series, but has a much higher specification the standsrd Austin and Morris versions and is a separate model in its own right.
