The Illinois Terminal Heritage Unit (NS 1072) Leads 28X in South Plainfield & More CSX & NS 5/11/24

With nice weather on the weekend of May 11th, it was a nice day to take advantage to head trackside as I got a report that the Illinois Terminal heritage unit, NS SD70ACe 1072, was leading intermodal 28X for Croxton. I went out to go catch it in South Plainfield, and caught several other CSX and NS trains including B705 with a CW44 leading a UP ET44 and ACe, as well as M217 with a true "Shared Assets" lashup featuring two ES44DCs from their host railroads. Train action was pretty solid for a brief two hour stay, and I hope you enjoyed the video!
