- Hey y'all! Finally got around to filming and editing something! It's not the best because it was done last night at like 10pm butttttt it's something to get me out of my slump I hope. I tried to film almost a full day of what I do in FL. I have two additional training horses now too that aren't included in this video... I'll have to put those in another video! Usually I start my mornings training, and go through into the afternoon. Then I have either lessons to teach, a meeting, or something along those lines! It's always busy at Prosperity Farms!

Girl, you are a hard worker and you are awesome.
It's funny, I haven't owned a horse in nearly 50 years, but watching you groom one brings back that wonderful horsy smell. 😄
Your work with horses is so inspiring and educational, thank you so much!
I really enjoyed this! Thank you for showing us a day in your work life. 😊
Super fun! I love day in the life videos. Definitely seems tiring but so fun at the same time :)
Good morning 👍
I am from Florida, I can see the humidity thru the sky
WOW inspring.
Thanks for sharing your day with us. Some beautiful horses and great weather! We had freezing rain here today so it was nice to see blue skies.
Wow! I love horses and I love training them, but I couldn’t imagine to ride so much horses in one day!🙈🐎
I really love and admire you. Keep going, and don’t forget that it’s very awesome what you’re doing.❤️
I love videos like this🥰
What a great job for skill building/maintenance! I love dressage---the more I do it and the more I learn the more I appreciate it. It transfers SO WELL to other disciplines too, you really can't go wrong with investing time into it in my opinion.
Love your calm approach to the youngsters and you can see how well they respond to it and how relaxed they become with a rider
Thanks for sharing your day. It’s great seeing all the different horses you work with.
I'm from Brazil and I want you to know that your videos help me a lot... please keep doing it for us❤🐎
Thank u ✌🏼
Thank you! I would enjoy anything similar to this too. It's taken me two years, but my final conclusion is, that every horse is beautiful and interesting to me. (Caution, ⚠️ Rambling Ahead, No Response expected)... I still want to get to a level of helping Mustangs during the training process and I understand, although I continue growing in healthy assertiveness, I may or may not be that person with confidence, timing and feel thats good for teaching or reinforce teaching a horse. I can see the possibility of becoming independent with helping in the type of professional therapeutic center I learn Natural Horsemanship from, that is overseen by a long term care hospital. I'm getting to a place of leading my therapeutic horse to and from his paddock/field, or walking him into a stall, so the barn staff vs the instructor and I, return him to his field and field mate. Thank you!
Laural
I love the gray. He has such a sweet personality.
What a great video! You are living the life I wish I had! Maybe in my next life! Loved seeing Lynx resting his head on your shoulder...wow, just wonderful to see. Didn’t realize how much I’ve missed you. So glad to have you back! Thank you thank you thank you!
I really like this video. I generally only train for fun and ride for trails because that's what I enjoy, but I completely agree with the value in dressage. Even though I don't do dressage I've started studying it a lot because it carries over into every aspect of riding
Dressage - makes me feel at home. It has a very old history and actually is gymnastics for the horse under the rider. Sometimes in the US people talk about English style and that harks back to the European continent where, for instance, Vienna in Austria has its famous Spanish Riding School with the (white) Lippizaner stallions. Of course Spain has such riding schools, or France. In Vienna, you could recognize the origin in chivalry - riding elite with a special role in the battlefield. And this harks all back to Julius Caesar's (100BC~44BC) time when he imperialistically conquered Europe with his foot soldiers and "Spanish Rider" cavalry. In Caesar's days the idea of dressage was already some 400 years old, or older, and Greek author Xenophon wrote a booklet On Horsemanship that may still have an English translation in your library - very interesting. Xenophon already starts with horse psychology in the sense he writes that you should not "break" a horse yourself as the horse must love, not hate you. In his days of pony sized stallions, "break" was the approach that today "we" try to replace with a patient negotiation into collaboration. In Xenophon's day, the word that Greek used for the bit in the bridle was "rasp" - some things have changed - like the addition of saddles and stirrups - but not a lot. And Xenophon already writes what you can simply do to strengthen the horse's fetlock region to prevent it getting injured in terrain. Dressage - very old human-horse collaboration history.
thank you it is always good to see how thoughtful you are with each horse --
A very busy busy day! Lynx looks great!
Thanks for sharing, love ur work! Love Australia 😎🌻
What a lot of work and riding! 🙂
Excellent (as always)
Lynx does look like a little Andulsion :) I can definitely see how much training and time goes in to produce a confident horse like Lynx. Thank you for sharing a glimpse in to your day.
Can totally tell that your horse loves you!
so good to see you, you are a very busy girl
really enjoyed a day in your life! you look great!
Looking good job sam from oh man
You are literally living my dream life, only working two client horses a day but definitely want to start buying more projects and getting more clients!!
Thats still so cool you have client horses!!😊
Fly spray system.. that sounds epic we get eaten alive in the summer here in the UK!
5:07 I want a Doritos-filled pen to ride in, too! xD
This was super cool! I was wondering if you could do a video on advice for yearlings? I currently have a 1 year old Haflinger and I was hoping I could get some tips on desensitizing, starting to lunge, etc.
Wohooo first!
Sam, not gonna lie...pretty jealous of your Florida weather while were up here freezing in Indiana!
Every this is FROZEN..... Keep up the good work!
We have some cold 30* mornings a couple days a week 🥶
Awesome video I am just wondering when or if you are getting a new mustang?? Sending love from Manitoba
Lucky!
What do you think about vienna reins? I don’t know if you have mentioned anything about that in your past videos because I’m restively new to your channel.
aku sangat suka lihat Sam VanFleet menjinakan Kuda
do you have any tips for a horse like the pally? That bolts off at the canter?
Can you please let me know what jump saddle you're using? Thank you :)
Do you generally use a singular English saddle for all of the horses you work? If so, can you provide the details on it? I'm struggling to find something that is suitable for my TB gelding but has the ability to be tossed on a schooling mount for classes and do fine as well - a versatile, comfy brand is my goal.
Love your videos!
It's nice to see you in a more stable (excuse the pun) place to work
live ur vids
I appreciate you taking the time to do these videos. In my training my hot red head, I emulate your calmness & subtleties of the cues - less is more with him. Right now I’m dependent on books, DVD, u-tube, & the videos I take of myself to improve Liberty & my riding. I am always excited to see when you have a new one out!!!
💚💜🌼🌻
Can you make a basics on moving the hindquarters and shoulders, my horse has no respect when leading and in the round pen and I want to start teaching him to move with my body but I don't know where to start. Love your videos 😊❤
I think she has some videos on that!!
What camera do you use?
Hey I’m wondering, how did you get involved in mustang training, and what would you suggest for someone looking to get into the training world? Thanks!
What is your day rate to do this?
Random question but, how come Spring has a scar on her flank? (If I saw that right xD it just might be lighting!)
Just a marking!
where are you in Florida
Sam I'm SO SORRY GOOD DAY OH Man
I live in Florida do you work with horse and rider. I hade a bad fall and having a hard to gain my confidence and regaining my seat i ride western but have rode English. i live in arcadia not sure how far you are from. Me . hope you can help me
Wish I could get you here to work with my daughters 10 year old Hackney paint pony. He was given to her, he was abandoned and pretty sure abused. Any suggestions on training him?
Are you located in FL?
@@SamVanFleet yes I'm in north west Florida
I am 1 hour from Tallahassee
Can I ask something, like I`m wondering. Many say letting the horse use you to scratch on is wrong and disresespectful? Yet she does it? What is right, I`m confused xD
I only let my personal horses do that- never a training horse 🙂
I like the way you ride and I like the way work your horse and you work your horse so good and you do a good job and can I ask you want bit you use thank you Nannette
You are welcome
Thank you! Most of my horses are still in a halter in this but lynx rides in (I think) a turtle top bit(?), and when I start the 3-year-olds they use a double jointed snaffle
Can you please make a video on teaching a horse to side pass and lunging horse without a round pen please!
Hey! I have a how to video on sidepassing 🙂
@@SamVanFleet Can you link it please, couldn't find it! 😊
Would you be willing to come help me liberty train my girl? We’re about to relocate to Callahan florida.
Is Goldie a haflinger?
Welsh pony section C
May they be on the slow side after a while because they are bored of the material they are doing?
It’s constant progression
the first stallion kinda looks like hes pregnant
