What's good guys, My Marvel PeePs where are you at, we're back with more Marvel uploads, I hope you guys enjoy this reaction, Also love guys man thank you all for rocking with the channel how you do, and special shout out the all the new members of the Vibe Tribe we've had sign up !!
Heyy pls watch RRR and KGF ch-1&2 too
Watch "RRR" it is in oscars ( original song ) great movie, I'm confident that Monica and you will enjoy the movie
Guys, I enjoy your videos but they are SO QUIET!! Like literally half the volume of any other channel... any way you can crank the volume??
If you guys haven't seen the movie UP (2009) you should even just for your own enjoyment. The reason is cause Rico is Dug. "Squirrel."
I've watched all of your Marvel reactions but CZcams totally hid this new reaction of yours from me for over two weeks! I only saw this when I checked in with you myself. If AI is gonna be useful for anything it's to replace the stupid YT algorithm with one that really knows what I want to see and from whom.
I loved this series. With all the billionaires and scientists, it was nice seeing someone from a normal life get powers. It was also nice seeing a family that acted like a normal family with no tragic backstory
I really enjoyed this show, think it was super underrated. Iman Vellani was spectacular, and it was her first acting role!
I’m so glad you guys didn’t skip this series. Some reactors have either skipped it or not completed it. They’re gonna be sorry real soon.
This is Iman Vellani’s first major acting role. She heard about the auditions through her aunt.
Iman originally didn’t want to become an actress, but she decided to take a chance and audition since she grew up reading the Ms. Marvel comics. A few years ago, she cosplayed as Ms. Marvel for Halloween. She even got her grandma to sew the signature lightning bolt to her costume.
On her last day of senior year, she got a call from casting director Sarah Halley Finn saying she needed her in a video chat. Next thing Iman knew, she was talking with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and the producers and directors of the show.
In the comics, Kamala is an Inhuman who can stretch her limbs. They changed the origins and function of her powers for two reasons:
1.) She would have been too similar to Mr. Fantastic.
2.) Her idol is Captain Marvel who specializes in cosmic energy.
As an Agents of SHIELD fan, I personally have a higher appreciation for this show. It’s a bit of a bummer that’s she not Inhuman, but I’m totally fine with it at the same time. This is the MCU after all. It doesn’t always have to replicate the comics 100%. The more unique the story, the better.
(Also, I wish I had a fun and upbeat counselor like Mr. Wilson when I was in high school. His motivation was something I really needed at the time.)
One of the people on aboard with making it possible is Sana Amanat, one of the original co-creators of Kamala Khan. That’s why no matter how different the story is from the comics, I trust the team involved to do it justice.
An interesting fact about this show: Pakistan doesn’t have Disney Plus (yet), and they didn’t want anyone in Pakistan to miss out. So what they did was premiere two episodes per every two weeks in movie theaters.
Lastly (for now), I first heard about the Partition of India in middle school. I don’t remember much, but I know for a fact that we also didn’t really learn much about it to begin with. Even Iman herself admitted that she didn’t know much about the Partition until she started doing her own research prior to filming.
Are you a pakistani or an Indian?
@@aasamspb967Samina Ahmad who played Sana, Kamala's grandmother is a Pakistani film and television actress, stage performer, producer and director.
@@Ghost8386 why are you telling me this idi*t? 😂😂😅
Have fun with stupid plotlines and extremely cringey shoehorning, then. I'll be over here without the absurd qoutas.
@@Adanu191 triggered much huh 🤣
"stay focused young king" I died
Notably, Zoe's costume is a comically accurate nod to the original Ms. Marvel costume Carol first wore on the pages of Ms. Marvel #1 in the 1970s.
I am amazed that Iman Vellani never acted before this. She is just pure joy every time she's on the screen.
Fanastic first episode. I'm loving this series was inspired by John Hughes's films, 10 Things I Hate You(1999), Lady Bird(2017), Eight Grade(2018), Booksmart(2019), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World(2010), Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse(2018), and Parker Lewis Can't Lose(1990-1993). Kamala Khan fan since 2014. The music and visuals in this series are marvelous. The cinematography in this show is amazing. Iman Vellani was the perfect casting for Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel.
This show did a huge service too in educating a new generation about Partition.
Welcome back to the MCU Rico and Monica. And with a perfect series for a good start.
Ms Marvel is one of the few things in Phase IV that I enjoyed from start to finish without a sense of disappointment by the end. Especially the style and charm that this show has. Imani kills it as Kamala, and her family is the second best part of this show.
Her acting is below average to be honest.
Same i agree.
@@aasamspb967
It was her acting debut, I also thought she was average but hopefully she’ll grow while being part of the MCU
@@aasamspb967 She didn’t have to act. She basically playing herself. And she did a great job.
Everything about Kamala, her family, her friends, and the history told was great. The villain was extremely weak, however.
I was surprised that I enjoyed this show so much. It is one of my favorite MCU show/movie. The entire family dynamic and her embracing the super hero world was an great watch. I'm excited for the Marvels just to see her interact with Captain Marvel.
Underrated gem IMO. The tone/story skew younger, but this was a fun series to binge (for me personally, at least). I've seen the show/character take a hit from some general audiences. But recently, I hit up a Fan Expo convention, and was pleasantly surprised to find other Ms. Marvel fans who dug the show/character. So for fans, this is a treat. Hope you guys enjoy!
Loved the character but the script let it down i feel
I agree wholeheartedly. It might even be my favorite Disney + Marvel show.
@@obiwankenobi7425 The biggest problem with the script (I feel) is that they tried to cram two/three seasons worth of story into six episodes. Season one didn't need the Clan Destine/Pakistan storyline - it should've focused on Kamala and Kamran staying off the DODC's radar whilst HINTING at a larger legacy/connection (which could've been explored in a second season).
yep tell more men they are rubbish and women can do no wrong have no character growth and pretend she is great....underrated my ass
I liked the characters but the plot wasn't great. There were two different villains that don't work together so we have Episode 2 on Damage Control, episodes 3, 4 and 5 on the Pakistan Storyline, and episode 6 on Damage Control again. It deserved two seasons or at least more episodes to be a good plot.
Lots of references: Do you remember how easily captain marvel evaded Thor's hammer in the Avengers? Zoe didn't so well. Kingo is the eternal Bollywood actor , so he was both the father and son Kingo. the name Night light is a reference to night monkey. ( i trust you know who that is).
This is Marvel perfecting the superhero coming of age story. Ms Marvel is definitely one of the best MCU project out there.
I started this journey in 1968. I have suffered through some unbelievable Marvel ripoff product, low budget, some studios afterthought, garbage. People are spoiled. I'm grateful for EVERY HEAVILY budgeted series they can throw at me. EVERY comic book wasn't to everyone's taste either. We used to argue in front of the local drugstore. Now we argue online. Some things don't change. "Kamala's" origin DESPERATLEY needed an upgrade and I liked the choices.
Hello, Rico! I'm so glad you and Monica are watching this incredible and fun-filled series, Ms. Marvel! It's one of my favorite series other than WandaVision and Loki, and it has a very youthful and artistic vibe to it, and full of heart and soul to it. I'm sure you will both enjoy it very much. Kamala Khan is very charismatic, lovable, and charming, and makes me think of Peter Parker in that sense. I'm curious to ask, maybe Monica isn't or is, what's her family background? I'm sure you will both will relate to her in many ways when you were younger.
Zoe’s costume was actually the original Ms. Marvel costume worn by Carol Danvers who is the 5th Captain Marvel; Monica Rambeau was the second. However, Monica has had several names the most recent being Photon and Spectrum respectively.
Shoutout to you guys for actually reacting to this. There’s reactors who reacted to marvel in its entirety later on (not the ones that have already watched infinity saga on their own) that I’ve seen that skip this. Idk if it’s the weirdo fans that tell them not to or they themselves that don’t want to give it a chance but dumb either way. This is probably one of the better things to come out of phase 4.
I love how much your immersed in this show. I do like ms.marvel she is cool and I like your comments during the 2 episodes
People hated this show but the culture and iman Vellani acting really sold me it’s amazing
The guy from the post credit scene of episode 1 was also in Spider-Man No Way Home. He was the one questioning everyone
To me, "Ms. Marvel" is the Gold Standard of Marvel Studios TV alongside "WandaVision."
BEEENNNM WAITING FOR THIS MUCH LOVE YOU TWO ARE AMAZING. Lemme get my snacks
I LOOOOVE Ms. Marvel to pieces. It was the only comic series I read as a Muslim girl and OMG it’s SOO good and the series is SO relatable ugh I love her sm
In the comics her powers are being able to stretch and grow her body also shapeshift a little bit but they changed it for the show in a way that kinda still acts similar to her powers probably so she wouldn't be so similar to Mr fantasy from the Fantastic four or maybe cause it hard to pull off body stretching with the budget they working with on these shows ....
@Max Vickrey it’s Mr.Fantastic not Mr.Fantasy…
Love you react to this, yes you will learn some about the partitian :) I enjoyed that show way more than I thought I would. Especially the family and community parts of it. Nikia is so far one of the most interesting and appealing side characters in the MCU, I hope they keep her on.
This show is my favorite MCU series so far. It's fantastic. I feel like a lot of the hate has been redirected captain marvel hate coming here. From beginning to end, Ms Marvel is incredible.
1:15 I’m glad you love the diversity Monica bc soooo many Marvel fans are dropping Marvel bc of the diversity and stupidly calling it “woke”
This was one of my personal favorite series bc of how well grounded it feels, and also taught me a little bit more about different cultures!
What culture? This isn't even the correct cultural representation. Marvel always failed at that. This is showing Indian culture as Pakistani culture. And the movies they talk about are all Indian. There's no real Pakistani culture here. Glad that this is the lowest rated MCU show and glad that Marvel is loosing fans.
@@aasamspb967 Iman Vellan born August 12, 2002) is a Pakistani-Canadian actress. Bisha K. Ali (born 1988/1989) is a British-Pakistani stand-up comedian and screenwriter. She is the head writer for the streaming television series Ms. Marvel for Disney+.

Another great episode. I love the music in this show. I'm really digging the nods to the John Hughes films, Booksmart, Parker Lewis, Cant' Lose, 10 Things About You, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Away, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the Adrian Alphona, Jaime McKelvie art design from the Ms. Marvel comics, and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World in this series. The twist at the end was great. I also loved the Shazam montage in this episode and the Kingo reference. Ms. Marvel's Black Widow pose was also fantastic.
Yayy! This is my second fav show after Moon Knight. Kamala is super relatable even if you aren't a part of Pakistani or Muslim culture, but I love how this series showcases her culture. I've always been super day dreamy, sometimes did little doodles. And I was a pretty model student til I was a senior, but I never liked school and I would write stories and look out the window imagining I was doing parkour in an action film lol.
I love this show. And it’s going to become very important extremely soon.
I enjoyed this show way more than I was expecting too. I get it not being for everyone but I think it gets way more hate than it deserves.
MCU Miss Marvel is a Mutant
Fox's X-Men starting to look better

@@JoshV_TX Does anyone really care?🤔
@@mikelarsen5836 I mean, seeing as how we’re here to watch reactors react to something, yeah. I like when reactors react to things for the first time.
Yeah I was pleasantly surprised by this show.
I nearly... ok no I actually did... lose my shit when I saw Anjali Bhimani in the first episode. I'm a huge overwatch nerd, and Symmetra is one of my favorite stories, and the fact that she's in the MCU made me so happy. I love everything she does, and I would LOVE to meet her. Every single time I see her it makes me smile
FUCKIN FINALLYY!!!! ive been waiting for yalls reaction to this series since FOREVERRRR ughh this show is so dear to me... the level of relatability i have.... from the culture, religion, family dynamics, community cliques, partition history to the creative protagonist with ADHD not being understood and having some varied values than her elders, wanting to express yourself in such a grand way while also being mindful of your cultural limitations.... just wow. i know u guys watched it a while ago and have finished the series but i wont go into "spoiler" territory. all im gonna say is, this series would've been elite and one of marvel's best ones along with moonknight if they gave it like an episode or two more and fleshed out the villains a bit more. nevertheless, good stuff. i do hope you guys educate yourself more of islamic culture and india-pakistan partition after being under british rulre for around 200 years FROM THE RIGHT SOURCES. im sure monica would quite like it, in the sense of gaining knowledge (ofcourse not about what happened). anyways great reaction as always !!! cant wait for the next onessss

I can't believe you're back with the Marvel and I missed it somehow.
Glad to see you're enjoy this. I thought it was fun. Keep it coming
Ms Marvel is amazing
And we’re back to the MCU!
Phase 4 is mostly about mental health. Especially with grief and loss. Wanda, Peter Parker, Thor, even Loki.
Comics, especially MARVEL have been written for so many different audiences. I think it’s wonderful that they brought that into their live action world
🙌🏼💪🏼🙌🏼
Comics. Are. For. Everyone.
You will enjoy this show
yes FINALLY marvel reaction !!!!
omggg why didnt i get notified for this videoo, loved it tho
Thanks for your reaction 👍
5:12 As always, Monica dropping three-pointers. 👍✌❤
If you enjoy the culture in this, I’d love to see y’all react to something like the Bollywood movie “3 idiots”.
I really liked the commentary, very interesting stuff. On the creativity part a famous german mathematician (David hilbert), was once interviewed and reported that one of his former students had become a poet (since the interviewer found it interesting that someone changed paths in such a radical way e.i from math to poetry), to which Hilbert replied "you know, for a mathematician, he didn't have enough imagination. But he has become a poet so he's fine". A bit harsh on Hilberts behalf if you ask me and I don't totally agree, but I can't deny that sometimes you must be on the verge of tripping to get some of the stuff there is in math, and not only math I think it applies for every area it's what makes study interesting.
Rico and monica really enjoy phase 4 MCU.
Unlike most people 😒
@@luimaz2016 yeah, after no way home i think mostly people always high expectation

Her dad was hindi dub artist of dr strange
I am from Karachi Pakistan and i can relate totally with this series as an asian
I wasn’t a huge fan of this show but I think it got unjustified hate. Even though it was a bit cheesy at times I get that it was directed towards a younger audience (which is fine!) but it still had aspects that I was able to enjoy. I really like Kamala and I think she’s one of the stronger characters they’ve introduced in phase 4, she’s just easy to root for
I feel extremely sad for Kamala's dad in episode 1 he wanted to go to Avengers con with his daughter but she said no cause it'll be embarrassing. Shane on you Kamala shame on you I would've let him go with me. Let Kamala's dad go to Avengers Con in the Future.
On the one hand, I think back to when I was Kamala's age: NO WAY i'd be cool with my mom or dad taking me to something like that.... But now that I'm grown, got nieces, and looking to have a kid soon: I totally feel bad for her dad lol.
She's a literal kid. They make mistakes, just like parents did here too. she understood how she messed up the moment she said that AND she apologised! So no need to shame and blame too much dear

@@jellybegger Stay mad.
@@ARealityStorm why would i be mad about you liking a terrible show. Seems to me in your original comment your were the only one mad at people hating 💀
WandaVision, despite it's absurd plot and 'Women can do no wrong' syndrome, was actually pretty good despite all of that. By your logic, WandaVision would be hated too. It generally isn't.
She-Hulk was justly hated when it equated a bit of catcalling to Bruce's very real childhood traumas and was dismissive of the latter, as if having multiple personalities is somehow less of a problem than 'oh no, random guy who doesn't know me is dismissive of others!'
Give me a fucking break.
@@jellybeggerI don’t think they were meant to contribute as much to the MCU, it was just its own thing and from the point of view of the character. Like She Hulk is just purposely done to be silly and MsMarvel basically a teenager show. Nothing special but just a new taste to new characters.
I agree with monica. If i wanted to go to avengercon and my dad dressed up as the hulk and wanted me to be hulk with him. Bet. And hed stay the whole time with me.
