It's that time of the year again. This time with a brand-new Polar Express model made by JamesTheWolf1225 and Mark.
This version of my yearly Polar Express video's, also launches a new project that I want to do: One Baseboard Routes. I am currently working on a site where I can release these routes and other projects that I have been working on.

I appreciate that, even though it doesn’t have the *correct* five cars, or the colors not matching the ones in the movie, you did your own thing and recreated your own town and model’s etc, And even after all the changes and personal preferences you perfectly capsulated the polar express and all it stands for.
About the coach color... That was my first time making that... The new version os totally accurate now.

Really? I thought it was just the lighting that made the color of the coaches look off. Still virtually flawless nonetheless. If only we could get the locomotive's and coach's model download instead of just the route.
@the 25th doctor if you've seen the movie you'll know how many goods are in the movie. Like how sometimes there are 5 coaches but then in the next scene theres 25 coaches
i love how it starts the same way the DVD is booted up , as someone who grew up with the DVD im feeling nostalgia rightnow

WOW! This is one baseboard?! I don't think people understand how much you put into this! It's incredible. Memories are flooding back, the camera work, the music, the scenes, amazing job.
This looks like a model railroad! This is beautiful, the small aspect of the set, the slow movement of the train all adds to the effect
Use this whistle, its much more accurate: "bttf whistle"
Very nice job on the route. And the detail on your engine and coaches, really look like I’m seeing an actual train in front of me.
(sighs) The animation, the music, the pop culture… It all goes to show you how timeless this movie really is; how well it still ages to this day.
I find it SHOCKING that you made this entire map with only a single baseboard!

Lovely video! The new locomotive and coaches look absolutely spectacular. Exactly spot on to the movie. this is literally the only version I’ve ever seen where the coaches are proportioned correctly, and are dark gray instead of light blue. Also, I know I’m being very specific, but I love the fact that the motion of the eccentric rod on the locomotive is finally accurate to the movie. Every ever version I’ve seen has gotten it wrong.
Each year the polar Express model looks more and more like it does in the movie it looks like K&L quality trainz times two

These vids never cease to disappoint me when Christmas time comes every year.
These videos gave me the idea of the train being this ghostly train that quietly slips through stations and yards until it gets back to its own territory, being the crazy hills and ice lakes. Great job!
Gotta admit, the attention to detail is amazing. Love the weathering job on the K&L Berkshire. Looks identical to the movie version now

Beautiful job: this was one of the best Polar Express Trainz films I've seen in years. And speaking of which, after taking a ride down memory lane with the Polar Express for the past few minutes, I've decided that I'm going to write a story about it. This is one of the oldest story ideas I've had throughout my life, though I'm to ever write it. It's gone through many different forms, be it a sequel to the book/movie, to a Thomas & Friends crossover. But now I have the final, definitive idea in mind for what it will be like. The title should be pretty self-explanatory: How 1225 Became The Polar Express. It will serve as a prequel to the original story, combining elements of its previous two forms, and best of all, will also serve as a tie-in to another story I'm writing, this one focusing on my own original engine. Can't wait to start. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year my friend. :D🎄🥂🚂
The camera work on this is movie level, its hard to imagine this is trainz at ALL!

Of all the polar express trainz routes you’ve created besides the polar express model trainz route from last year, this one takes the cake. Although the route was small, it still brought tears 😭 of joy 🥹 to many of our eyes and memories to our childhood thank you so much for making wonderful trainz routes of this timeless and wonderful film about a young boy traveling 🧳 to the North Pole pulled by a famous steam locomotive 🚂 to receive the first gift 🎁 of Christmas 🎄.

This is just amazing- (Also god damn if the movie did any one thing perfectly it was it’s audio, the chuffing sounds of the locomotive and slight clanking of the coaches were perfect.)

It was an incredible video. Despite the cons, the Polar Express is one of the best and most atmospheric New Year / Christmas films. It is better to watch it with perfectly tuned sound and graphics quality.

I JUST WATCHED THE MOVIE
This is amazing other then the fact there’s only four passenger cars when there should be five and the cars need to be blue and red but again absolutely amazing route
The cars in the movie are actually more of a dark slate gray than the light blue their always depicted in. So I’d say these are pretty much spot on.
This is a wonderfully-presented piece, and I like how you made some of the physics as portrayed in the film more accurate in relation to sense of weight and speed, which in the original film is glossed over due mainly to shortcuts in the animation. The glaring inconsistency of train length in the film is of course not a problem in the set-up physics of Trainz, although the film mostly shows a total of five passenger coaches, whereas here there are only four. The reason there are only four coaches is because five would not have fit certainty parts of the route. For example it would’ve blocked some of the route at hero boys/Chris is house :)

It's a magic carpet on a rail never takes a rest flying through the mountains and the snow ride for free and join the fun if you just say yes because that's the way things happen on the polar express choo choo the whistle blows that's the sound of her singing ding ding the bell will ring golly look at her go wondering if you'll get there soon everybody says because that's the way things happen on the polar express when we get there we'll scream yeah we'll all ride with a bang bang bang choo choo choo laughing all the way.
Are the train models available for distribution? Or were they given to you for the sake of this video and route demonstration? Just asking out of curiosity
I quite like it, but I do think that it needs that section of track that the observation car runs away on with the turn table at the end of it.
Question. What do you use to make such incredible moving camera shots? I thought it was just invisible track on flying cam, but the shots where the camera slows to a stop would be impossible with that technique. Please do tell.
It’s a custom camera that someone made. I can’t remember who it was tho. Although, i know I got it from Patreon and I think it was from rileyzzz
@@CharlieStudios Oh ok rileyzzz. It is advanced camera, I have the first one. I'd honestly recommend the first version on carson patreon because it doesn't lag as much as the first version.
