I would love if CZcams implemented an affiliate program for CZcams Premium. Make Premium just a tinny bit more desirable and then give creators (or influencers, if you must call them that🤢) an incentive to promote Premium. From creator perspective Premium viewers are just better in general as they pay better than non premium viewers. So I have yt premium, and I am in America. I have had it since I can remember. CZcams is 90% of my entertainment when it comes to watching things, so for me 14$ a month, hell 20-30$ a month, would still be worth it. If i save myself 5 seconds for every video I watch MINIMUM my saved time would be insane. I have over 5k liked videos on youtube since I started watching who knows how long ago. The only reason its only 5k is because it stops tracking after 5k. But if it were only those 5k videos I ever watched it is over 7 hours of ads that I have skipped if they were all watched with premium that's only if it is the 5 second minimum and those are only the videos that I click the LIKE button for. Not so many hours individually but the ease of use, as well as the not needing to worry if I will have an ad on tv or my phone is 100% worth the price for me. I don't mind paying for a product that is worth it, and is super convenient.
This is not as worst as other platforms like Netflix having a advert tier and payment, I think you should either pay for advert free access to content or have it free with adverts. The idea of companies doing both is way too greedy.
I pay for a family plan for me and my parents. They just increased the price from $23 aud to $33 aud/month. Such a huge price increase has me wanting to cancel as well, though I use youtube and youtube music everyday. Did you buy the subscription through the CZcams website or the iPhone app because apple charges a fee for app developers. If you’ve bought it through apple then cancel the subscription and rejoin through the CZcams website and not the app.
i also moved from spotify to YT music /premium just a few weeks ago as spotify increased their pricing and announced to not pay small creators at all, i decided to migrate completely to YT and give a little bit back to the creators when i watch vids.
Well I use CZcams Family plan in a country where it's cheaper so it's worth it. Also the only feature that I don't use regularly off the top of my head is the exclusive release After Party of music artists. I use the rest everyday. -The background play. -The small window in the corner thingy. (Picture in picture) -All the Premium features of CZcams Music (ESPECIALLY the download feature) -1080p Downloads. So for me it's not just ads (though that is a huge plus point).
I had it for years now and let it lapse the past few weeks and it’s been weird going back to ads. I feel pestered by them. When I get it back I feel like it’ll be “extra” nice not having to see them. Hey bro, I recommend using a VPN to connect to Poland, India or Ukraine to get YT premium for much cheaper. I spend so much time on YT I am fine paying to remove the ads, I definitely prefer the content over Netflix, Prime etc.
You’re not alone. I have YT premium as well. In fact, everything we subscribe to has to offer an ad-free tier. Because I FLAT OUT REFUSE to view ads anywhere, anytime… period (including mobile games). If I even click on a news story that includes an embedded video and it starts with an ad? I close it immediately. I’d rather go back to reading books than watch one more insipid ad. And if there’s no ad-free version, I skip it. That’s why I cancelled YT TV after the free trial. I know, I know, all live TV has ads. That’s why I don’t watch live TV anymore. And gawd do I miss those Dallas Cowboys games. But as I said, if there are ads, I’ll do without rather than watch them. Side note: I do watch the game recaps in the NFL app… ad-free, of course.
For me it costs 6,99€ in Finland with student plan, cheaper than Netflix, I see value in that, there's more content here than on Netflix also some videos are as good quality. Netflix is also only full hd and this is up to 4k. Also I don't think they can give movies for free with Premium because they are owned by Disney or Netflix. (They tried to do their own movies as "CZcams premium shows"). They probably have a plan like "you can use our movies if they are more expensive" deal. Netflix doesn't have Disney movies and Disney+ doesn't have Netflix movies and CZcams has the biggest library, that's the hint that CZcams gets all the movies from them so there should be some kind of deal or otherwise Disney and Netflix movies would pull out of here.
I wish I could pay a flat fee to use CZcams ad free, forever. I don’t think I’ve ever clicked on a single CZcams ad my entire life; except perhaps on accident. How much money is my impression *really* worth to them? I think part of the issue is that CZcams is not pricing ads accurately. I don’t think I’m the only one who has never clicked on a CZcams ad before; yet advertisers continue to pay to shove ads in my face. Why would they pay if they knew they were wasting my time and their money? Because CZcams isn’t transparent with advertisers. In an ideal world, CZcams would price my impression accurately and realize they’re better off asking for a one-time fee than continuing to serve me ads.
I think it’s a careful calculus: how much money is my ad impression really worth to them given my history of interacting with ads, versus say, $250 cash right now?
Perfect video, you said it all. From the moment I could sync my phone with my car I needed premium. I do drive a lot too and listen to a lot of videos that only youtube have. So for me it's really hard to no get premium.
Honestly I've never had much problem with ads themselves on CZcams, Sure they were an annoyance, but not something I couldn't deal with (Although it's possible that's changed in the time since I started using an adblocker), And since I don't really have much money I can use to buy people's merch or patronise them on patreon or whatever, It's nice to be able to support them financially in a way that costs me only time, Something I have in abundance. The problem comes with where CZcams puts the ads, Namely in the middle of videos whose creators didn't choose to have them there, Making them annoyingly break up the flow of the content. And of course the most egregious example would be music. On several occasions I have had CZcams place an ad inside the middle of a song, Interrupting the music, Which is absolutely outrageous and just unacceptable to me. (Sure, I do listen to some pretty long songs, But I've had this happen on songs that are just 5-7 minutes long, Which I feel like most people would agree is not extraordinarily long) Honestly if I could easily turn my adblocker off when watching non-music videos I probably would, And previously I would've changed to paying for premium had I ever wound up with enough money for it, But then they started doing this whole anti-adblocking fiasco, And honestly now I don't intend to ever pay for premium (At least unless they roll-back these anti-adblock measures and preferably stop putting ads in the middle of songs as well), Simply out of pettiness. Sidenote, What advantages does CZcams Premium actually give for CZcams Music? I listen to most music via CZcams (Either on the main CZcams site/app, or on the actual CZcams Music website), And haven't really noticed any features I wish I had for it outside of no ads and the ability to play it on mobile in the background or with my phone screen off.
I'm considering buying CZcams premium because CZcams has started to roll out QR codes for ads the ad will play like normal but when the skip this ad button is to show up the screen splits and shows the QR code then the skip ad button making a total of 10 seconds vs the 5 seconds which means I've now watch over half the 15/22 seconds ad and if I decided to watch on my smart tv it'll glitch the skip button into thinking I wanted to pause the ad or get more info on the QR code
im going to be honest i think that youtube isnt necessarily is trying to get everyone to have youtube premium. the entire website would collaspe if they stopped using ads as the majority of their money. most people watch on their phones anyways and dont use adblock. the whole adblock thing is definitely within a minority of the youtube community who is more concerned with youtube itself. i have premium and its cheaper for me cause i live in eastern europe. if someone cares whether you pay for premium they clearly have very little going on, its not that big a deal.
I think you underestimate the amount of YT users. CZcams has 2.70 billion monthly active users, and if all of them would get YT Premium, that would make them 37.8 BILLION dollar a MONTH! That would of course never happen. But I don't think YT would collapse if everybody got Premium xD

I really appreciate that you credit the music that plays in your videos. I used to use spotify, fell off and then got 3 months free of youtube premium. CZcams Music is a worse spotify when it comes to features and having to rebuild your "library" is a monumental effort. I did not renew youtube premium (I'm australian). CZcams has been been spamming me with "you should renew your sub!" messages when ever I get an ad or tab out of the app on my phone "If you had premium still you can have it keep playing!"
The ads have become so annoying, and I can't afford to pay for Premium, and I can't use ad blockers anymore. CZcams needs to make the ads less intrusive, and stop constantly pushing people to pay for that dumb Premium. One ad at the start of the video is fine, multiple ads is way too much. top tip, if you listen to youtube on your Iphone (maybe it works similarily on other phones, idk), use safari, put youtube in pc mode, minimise it on the top left after it goes fullscreen, and whenever you lock your phone, on the lock screen you'll be able to start the video again and listen. It doesn't work with playlist tho, preferably with long videos/music track.

Currently Last 7 days 151hrs. 13hrs today alone. YT is literally my tv cause I dont have cable haha. It benefits me, but I understand how it may not for others.

Only reason i got youtube premium was cos of the student discount. Now im not longer a student IDK if i'll still use it as all I really used was the no ads and background play features for mobile. Never used the youtube music app, just used the default youtube app for music. Never watched youtube movies. Think ive used the queue feature once maybe? Continue playing is convenient but not needed. I think it will mostly come down to if I'll ever stop using youtube as much. I can still afford to pay for it, and its nice to not have to deal with ads and adblockers and still support the creators I watch.

I love it. I watch CZcams 90% of the time and I also listen to music a lot. I tried it on my other account which isn't premium and its unwatchable. I only have amazon prime so the cost for CZcams premium isn't a problem for me.

I have to say, I totally disagree with this video. I enjoy your content, but I think you're simply missing the point. You can't expect youtube to go around printing money, and don't call their decision to remove ad blockers stupid, and in the same sentence start crying about why you don't get enough money for ads that people aren't watching. CZcams Premium is a genuine good deal, and I have it myself and I would never cancel it. I don't think youtube has made any stupid decisions, they are hosting the videos, and giving the community, all they are doing is claiming the money that is meant to be theirs, if you don't like ads, stop watching youtube, don't go milking money out of the company as if you have a right to it. But maybe you should just be more grateful of the things youtube is giving you, and I'm SO SO SORRY of your loss of like 5 seconds of your life time, cuz you have to watch an ad. (Especially considering how invasive Alphabet is with data. They already sold all the data they could scrape, i personally have the believe that that is enough payment.)

Depends what vpn some can cost up to 100 dollars a year for good Internet. Most vpns are shit and buffer like crazy at that point j watch ads

I was at a restaurant and there was a 28-30 something minute long ad that didn't finish until after we left

I don’t use other platforms for content so I’ve seen it as worth it as those annoyed seconds ad up 😅 it’s a smoother experience if you’re watching tons of videos but no one I know pays for it and they say they watch a lot of CZcams. Hey bro, I recommend using a VPN to connect to Poland, India or Ukraine to get YT premium for much cheaper. I spend so much time on YT I am fine paying to remove the ads, I definitely prefer the content over Netflix, Prime etc.

You’re not alone. I have YT premium as well. In fact, everything we subscribe to has to offer an ad-free tier. Because I FLAT OUT REFUSE to view ads anywhere, anytime… period (including mobile games). If I even click on a news story that includes an embedded video and it starts with an ad? I close it immediately. I’d rather go back to reading books than watch one more insipid ad. And if there’s no ad-free version, I skip it. That’s why I cancelled YT TV after the free trial. I know, I know, all live TV has ads. That’s why I don’t watch live TV anymore. And gawd do I miss those Dallas Cowboys games. But as I said, if there are ads, I’ll do without rather than watch them. Side note: I do watch the game recaps in the NFL app… ad-free, of course.

For me it costs 6,99€ in Finland with student plan, cheaper than Netflix, I see value in that, there's more content here than on Netflix also some videos are as good quality. Netflix is also only full hd and this is up to 4k.
Also I don't think they can give movies for free with Premium because they are owned by Disney or Netflix. (They tried to do their own movies as "CZcams premium shows"). They probably have a plan like "you can use our movies if they are more expensive" deal. Netflix doesn't have Disney movies and Disney+ doesn't have Netflix movies and CZcams has the biggest library, that's the hint that CZcams gets all the movies from them so there should be some kind of deal or otherwise Disney and Netflix movies would pull out of here.

I wish I could pay a flat fee to use CZcams ad free, forever. I don’t think I’ve ever clicked on a single CZcams ad my entire life; except perhaps on accident. How much money is my impression *really* worth to them? I think part of the issue is that CZcams is not pricing ads accurately. I don’t think I’m the only one who has never clicked on a CZcams ad before; yet advertisers continue to pay to shove ads in my face. Why would they pay if they knew they were wasting my time and their money? Because CZcams isn’t transparent with advertisers. In an ideal world, CZcams would price my impression accurately and realize they’re better off asking for a one-time fee than continuing to serve me ads.

Perfect video, you said it all. From the moment I could sync my phone with my car I needed premium. I do drive a lot too and listen to a lot of videos that only youtube have. So for me it's really hard to no get premium.

Honestly I've never had much problem with ads themselves on CZcams, Sure they were an annoyance, but not something I couldn't deal with (Although it's possible that's changed in the time since I started using an adblocker), And since I don't really have much money I can use to buy people's merch or patronise them on patreon or whatever, It's nice to be able to support them financially in a way that costs me only time, Something I have in abundance. The problem comes with where CZcams puts the ads, Namely in the middle of videos whose creators didn't choose to have them there, Making them annoyingly break up the flow of the content. And of course the most egregious example would be music. On several occasions I have had CZcams place an ad inside the middle of a song, Interrupting the music, Which is absolutely outrageous and just unacceptable to me. (Sure, I do listen to some pretty long songs, But I've had this happen on songs that are just 5-7 minutes long, Which I feel like most people would agree is not extraordinarily long) Honestly if I could easily turn my adblocker off when watching non-music videos I probably would, And previously I would've changed to paying for premium had I ever wound up with enough money for it, But then they started doing this whole anti-adblocking fiasco, And honestly now I don't intend to ever pay for premium (At least unless they roll-back these anti-adblock measures and preferably stop putting ads in the middle of songs as well), Simply out of pettiness.
Sidenote, What advantages does CZcams Premium actually give for CZcams Music? I listen to most music via CZcams (Either on the main CZcams site/app, or on the actual CZcams Music website), And haven't really noticed any features I wish I had for it outside of no ads and the ability to play it on mobile in the background or with my phone screen off.

I'm considering buying CZcams premium because CZcams has started to roll out QR codes for ads the ad will play like normal but when the skip this ad button is to show up the screen splits and shows the QR code then the skip ad button making a total of 10 seconds vs the 5 seconds which means I've now watch over half the 15/22 seconds ad and if I decided to watch on my smart tv it'll glitch the skip button into thinking I wanted to pause the ad or get more info on the QR code
im going to be honest i think that youtube isnt necessarily is trying to get everyone to have youtube premium. the entire website would collaspe if they stopped using ads as the majority of their money. most people watch on their phones anyways and dont use adblock. the whole adblock thing is definitely within a minority of the youtube community who is more concerned with youtube itself. i have premium and its cheaper for me cause i live in eastern europe. if someone cares whether you pay for premium they clearly have very little going on, its not that big a deal.
I think you underestimate the amount of YT users. CZcams has 2.70 billion monthly active users, and if all of them would get YT Premium, that would make them 37.8 BILLION dollar a MONTH! That would of course never happen. But I don't think YT would collapse if everybody got Premium xD

I really appreciate that you credit the music that plays in your videos. I used to use spotify, fell off and then got 3 months free of youtube premium. CZcams Music is a worse spotify when it comes to features and having to rebuild your "library" is a monumental effort. I did not renew youtube premium (I'm australian). CZcams has been been spamming me with "you should renew your sub!" messages when ever I get an ad or tab out of the app on my phone "If you had premium still you can have it keep playing!"

I got it because CZcams Music through regular CZcams has access to music that well never get licensed in my region. Plus I watched a ton of CZcams.
The ads have become so annoying, and I can't afford to pay for Premium, and I can't use ad blockers anymore. CZcams needs to make the ads less intrusive, and stop constantly pushing people to pay for that dumb Premium. One ad at the start of the video is fine, multiple ads is way too much. It's really sad what CZcams has become.
If you cancel your premium you will receive WAY more ads on your account, forcing you to either pay for premium again or make another account (like I had to.) Disgusting business practice that people should talk about more.

@@LinusLogic I didn’t tolerate it for long before trying a different account, but there were definitely 30+ second unskippable ads and tons of midroll, versus no unskippable ads and at most one midroll on other accounts. This is a different email account too.

This was a great video man your editing has gotten so good since the first time I've watched you, and I gotta say I fully agree I'm at the same exact spot as you, I pay for premium because I'm a youtube power user, I also really do enjoy the youtube music app and background listening. I tried vanced as well but since I'm on ios i would have had to keep reinstalling it once a week and it was such a pain lol
top tip, if you listen to youtube on your Iphone (maybe it works similarily on other phones, idk), use safari, put youtube in pc mode, minimise it on the top left after it goes fullscreen, and whenever you lock your phone, on the lock screen you'll be able to start the video again and listen. It doesn't work with playlist tho, preferably with long videos/music track.

1. 24/7 steams Loop over and over Filling up youtube own centers ( which is more scam than wish themself does )
- No Cooldowns unless i miss something about their live steams has a limit ( some been on for mouths upto 4 Mouths even christmas which is not even new )
2. New channel can damage their platform as easy as hated youtubers becasue they get banned and make a new one few days letter returned to scam again

youtube premium for me is worth it because of the amount of youtube I watch, the $15 I pay a month is worth it to save $100+ worth of time
bought youtube premium back when it was branded CZcams RED lol. Still to this day, I don't regret buying it. The cost makes up for the enormous amount of time I spend on the platform. Currently Last 7 days 151hrs. 13hrs today alone. YT is literally my tv cause I dont have cable haha. It benefits me, but I understand how it may not for others.
In hungary it costs the equivalent of 5.05 usd monthly so I don't mind paying for it. I'm on youtube for at least 4 hours a day.

I have premium ans mostly just got it becauae Im too lazy to get ad block and can not deal with ads. One thing I need to do is start using the music portion even though I rarely listen to music.
Only reason i got youtube premium was cos of the student discount. Now im not longer a student IDK if i'll still use it as all I really used was the no ads and background play features for mobile. Never used the youtube music app, just used the default youtube app for music. Never watched youtube movies. Think ive used the queue feature once maybe? Continue playing is convenient but not needed.
I think it will mostly come down to if I'll ever stop using youtube as much. I can still afford to pay for it, and its nice to not have to deal with ads and adblockers and still support the creators I watch.

I have to say, I totally disagree with this video. I enjoy your content, but I think you're simply missing the point. You can't expect youtube to go around printing money, and don't call their decision to remove ad blockers stupid, and in the same sentence start crying about why you don't get enough money for ads that people aren't watching. CZcams Premium is a genuine good deal, and I have it myself and I would never cancel it. I don't think youtube has made any stupid decisions, they are hosting the videos, and giving the community, all they are doing is claiming the money that is meant to be theirs, if you don't like ads, stop watching youtube, don't go milking money out of the company as if you have a right to it. But maybe you should just be more grateful of the things youtube is giving you, and I'm SO SO SORRY of your loss of like 5 seconds of your life time, cuz you have to watch an ad. Because it is so terrible to have to survive the few seconds of a grammarly ad to then move on to watch your free video on a free website again. CZcams Premium also brings the benefits of youtube red / CZcams originals, even though that has been discontinued, there is still some great series out there.
