I couldn’t convince my family to get the CZcams premium bundle. So I’m sticking to sharing Spotify duo, which isn’t as bad and I’ve got Ad blocker in place for CZcams.
Only reason I use Soundcloud or YT Music instead of Spotify is the number of songs and remixes. Spotify barely has any remixes while Soundcloud and YT Music have pretty much everything.
I always find it so interesting hearing other people's thoughts on youtube music. Now to be fair I have never used spotify or any other music app. As I don't see the point in paying $11 for a stand alone app, but I had looked at youtube music as a "plus feature" with youtube premium. Which I use as a cable replacement, and I like it. Is it better than the other apps? probably not but from a cost perspective it is great. So instead of paying $13 plus $11 dollars a month I only have to pay the $13.
I relate so much to that Spotify shuffling part. It’s honestly so bad that I can actually predict what songs are going to play now. I thought it’s supposed to be random lol
@@marioadan7751 use CZcams premium. The subscription plans in YT includes YT music premium. While if you only open Yt music to see premium plans you'll get plans only for Yt music but not CZcams
I too moved from Spotify to CZcams Music. It's pretty neat that I can easily add new music to my collection directly from the general CZcams UI without much hassle. Quite frankly, Spotify costs NZD $16.99 whilst YT Music gives me music streaming and ad-free CZcams for just NZD $17.99. For me that made YT Music the clear pick. BUT... CZcams music not having a desktop app is such a bummer. It means when travelling I have to rely on downloaded music via the mobile app, and cannot use my laptop for it without racking up a hefty roaming bill. And its lack of context-aware device switching feels criminal after using Spotify's version of it. Spotify's implementation of switching between devices, or remotely controlled playback of another device (connected to your account) was perfect and had its own bugs... but damn would I happily deal with it over this complete absence of remote device playback and control at all.
Just the network, it was there when nothing good as such was, now everyone uses it and they see no point in switching to other services like yt premium if everything is probably the same.
I find it interested that you find YT music is better at shuffling music. I swear YT shuffles like 100 songs over and over. I move to spotify a few years ago and It still gives me new songs that I forgot about. I actively dislike YT music. I hate that it puts any music related video you 'like' on YT and puts it into your music. I always went to work listening to YT music and hearing Adam Neely talking about some random song instead of an actual song. Absolute deal breaker for me.
@shyammandaloju1684 if you like a bunch of yt music videos then switch that setting off, you will still have all those videos in your music. You'll still have to go find them individually. And worse if your liked Playlist has thousands in it, you have to scroll down until you find it, there is no search inside Playlists
I had a terrible experience with similar issues. The switching between devices, CarPlay and shared playlists between CZcams and CZcams music were the biggest issue for me. I also noticed shuffle play is worse on CZcams that Spotify
As I use Spotify Connect a lot, I prefer to stick to Spotify rather than CZcams music as YT music can have issues with being played on more than one device. However, personally for me, I found CZcams music shuffle to slightly be better than Spotify shuffle 🤔

Ye, CZcams has a huge choice of music, so I was thinking about switching. But something I forgot to mention in the video was the local files feature on Spotify which kept me with Spotify.
I watch a lot of youtube and am a casual music listener, 90% of the time its just when I'm driving. I don't really make playlist, I pick a song and let the radio feature handle what comes on next. So for me, getting youtube premium and paying the $3 more dollars than spotify to get youtube without ads on all my devices on top of the music streaming seemed worth it for my use case over spotify. The larger music library helps to with being able to listen to any youtube upload because I remember when Juice by Chance the Rapper wasn't available for a while except throught the youtube music video which I would just play audio only. Its officially on the album now though

And just a tip. youtube music on desktop is juste a website so if you have realy good adblocker, you won't have any ad. On android it all easily crackable. Even cracked, it is available on Android auto but the interface isn't that good. I don't have accès to quick pick song juste my playlist. Maybe due to the cracked version.
My Ad blocker be one of the only reasons I watch YT videos without paying for premium for real. I didn’t notice that it also worked with the CZcams music website which is kind of a plus

had youtube music with a family youtube premium plan, but recently got a shared spotify family plan as well and i plan to keep using it over yt music for a few reasons: 1st is theres no native desktop app for YT music, which matters a lot to my workflow/ gaming life, as a browser tab just doesnt cut it. 2nd is how liked videos on youtube will automatically add to youtube music if they detect it as "music", which is unwelcome more often than not. 3rd is general adoption, when a friend sends me music a lot of the time they will come in spotify links, as thats what people use, its just more convenient to use what has wider adoption. That being said, the youtube premium plan isnt going anywhere and i still use youtube music for things like covers/ songs not on spotify when i feel like it, and for that it excels with youtubes large library of user uploaded music.
for the 1st u can create a app shortcut from chrome and its becaming an app only for yt music for the 2nd u can toggle on or off in settings (yt music) if u want your likes on yt to show up on yt music for the 3rd i have the same problem 🤣😭
@@DRUNKGOOGLER thats fair for the second, but a dedicated app will do far more than a chrome tab, it will integrate more into other parts of windows (such as the game bar) and is a much more polished experience than a web app.

The fact that Spotify consistently plays the same limited set of songs on shuffle is terrible; for that reason alone, I'm considering switching to CZcams Music.
Spotify isn’t good enough for me to pay extra for it. I’ll be with CZcams premium as music is free and I love CZcams premium. It is objectively worse but more seem less if you’re a heavy CZcams user

I have used yt music for long time and I got the spotify 3 months free trial and I hate it. If I use spotify now why would I pay for yt premium but then I'm also frustrated with ads in videos all the time. I'm going back when my trial ends lol.
I like youtube music ( i have it as part of youtube premium), I also had spotify. One of the most annoying things CZcams Music has (for me) is the lack of a dedicated car mode, like spotify has. I assume that google think you will be using android auto, but some of us have cars with an entertaintment system too old for that :)
I switched over for both the premium and music. Unfortunately, the app isn't available on my TVs, Tesla, nor my Xbox. Basically, it's only available on my phone 😒
One thing I prefer with Spotify is definitely the vast amount of devices that do support Spotify play (if that’s the correct term) compared to CZcams music.
Has anybody experienced issues such as playback when skipping too many songs and only works when I tap on the song manually before having to reset all the Spotify settings which is a pain to me and it happens frequently enough

I think preference is subjective. It depends on what your priority is. For someone like me who likes the freedom of not having to click next and to be sure that the algorithm will sticknto songs i like YT is the one for me. Being able to play across devices and switch easily is nice to have but is not a higher priority than having a very wide playlist of unofficial and official sound that's why is till prefer YT.
I'm not fan of youtube music... trust me. I'm youtube premium subscriber since 2020. I tried to like youtube music so many times since when Google play music ended. performance on pc is slower than spotify (YT Music doesn't know how to handle large playlist). there is no search within playlist filter. (Spotify has that). the most frustrating part is... they put both of video playlist and yt music playlist on same freaking place. It is chaos!
One of the main reasons I switch to YT Music is because of the performance in my pc (I have 4gb ram☠️) and Spotify app make my pc performance slower but when I use YT Music in my browser (I use Firefox) I have a good performance
Personally I use Spotify because of spotify connect and how easy is to control music from phone to the desktop and more. We are using one spotify premium account because of ease of use of spotify connect so we can all control pc audio from our phones.
CZcams Premium, you can find certain videos/songs that have higher quality audio than others. YT Premium is a better bang for your buck and does Spotify offer free movies? CZcams Premium is a better bang for your buck! I love it!
you need to use an Android device to purchase YT music and Spotify....the subs are less expensive, because they have to give a % of their fees to Apple, so they charge Apple users (iPhones/Macs, etc.) a larger fee.
@@anuragbayungI have amazon music with my Amazon prime subscription And I have tried to use it and within a week got rid of it. if your song selection is not mainstream then you don't have songs. and their app is even rare than youtube music I recommend you try it out but it is not a pleasant experience and in most cases people don't buy Amazon music. its just available with the prime so no one uses it but just have it with them.

CZcams music is hands down FAR better. FAR. The fact that spotify and apple music have ZERO hip hop mixtapes... there's no competition lol YTM is King.
I recently switched from YT Music to Tidal, I will say, I miss the music selection compared to YT Music, but tidal is just a lot cleaner overall & the live music sharing functionality is amazing. (And yes, I had the same playlist issue, couldn't find a solution, so didn't do it)
I uploaded some songs (Copyrighted) in my yt channel...its just weird that it can also be search and play on ytmusic, regardless my terrible upload quality.😂
ytmusic is way cheaper here in vietnam only 4$ same as spotify over here plus the youtube premium and the bigger library and its a no brainer for me, idc abt the share play cuz I mostly listen on my phone.

I really tried to switch to youtube music but it's so halfass that I just couldn't do it. It really is unreliable via carplay and basic things like album art and lyrics are a mess. It's honestly best to avoid anything Google these days as you are almost guaranteed to be disappointed.
I’m far into the Apple ecosystem so I understand what you mean. I also very much find the lyrics messy and the art expansion mode on phone seems okay. I don’t have a car so I can’t test out CarPlay, but it’s nice to know.

I have youtube premium for family. The fact that youtube music is bundled in means that we save on spotify family. The savings is huge

That liked video thing is a setting you can turn off.
@highland_persuasion I did find that. Unfortunately, it's not retroactive and I still get those videos in my queue.

4:13 I myself have a lot of chrome cast devices and its absolutely amazing to use them with YT Music in comparison to Spotify.

The playlists merging is definitely a con for CZcams music

Revanced was alright imo. I found a few issues tho, so I’d rather stick to official platforms/services like Spotify or CZcams Music.

Thanks for the advice, I think that definitely would have been way better. I didn’t really notice it a problem at the moment of editing, but now I rewatch it, it may seem confusing to some people and also misinformation (Or just cut out info)!

CZcams music is hands down FAR better. FAR. The fact that spotify and apple music have ZERO hip hop mixtapes... there's no competition lol YTM is King.

I recently switched from YT Music to Tidal, I will say, I miss the music selection compared to YT Music, but tidal is just a lot cleaner overall & the live music sharing functionality is amazing. (And yes, I had the same playlist issue, couldn't find a solution, so didn't do it)
Yet to try out Tidal, haven’t heard much about it yet. Is it available also on IOS?

I uploaded some songs (Copyrighted) in my yt channel...its just weird that it can also be search and play on ytmusic, regardless my terrible upload quality.😂

ytmusic is way cheaper here in vietnam only 4$ same as spotify over here plus the youtube premium and the bigger library and its a no brainer for me, idc abt the share play cuz I mostly listen on my phone.

I am an Apple Music fan I have Spotify I kinda use Spotify but I am more use Apple Music I have more songs
I might switch over to Apple Music eventually as I've recently purchased an Apple homepod
I really tried to switch to youtube music but it's so halfass that I just couldn't do it. It really is unreliable via carplay and basic things like album art and lyrics are a mess. It's honestly best to avoid anything Google these days as you are almost guaranteed to be disappointed.
I’m far into the Apple ecosystem so I understand what you mean. I also very much find the lyrics messy and the art expansion mode on phone seems okay. I don’t have a car so I can’t test out CarPlay, but it’s nice to know.
