In addition to Raina and Dhoni, not to forget the contribution of Munaf Patel in this match. Would have been a long career if not the injuries. Quite refreshing to see Dravid too, especially those square cuts 😍

Munaf did not retire and continued to play for Baroda and Mumbai Indians but was never picked again for India. After this tour, MS Dhoni was clear about picking only fit and athletic players, even pacers in the team in the ODIs and even in Australia tour, the same year/early next year, the fielding of the team saw tremendous improvement though the batting and bowling was very poor. The biggest problem with the likes of Munaf Patel and Praveen Kumar was massive age fudging and especially in case of PK very poor attitude(even attacked the umpire once on this tour), though PK did play some ODIs after this tour.

We also had players like Rahul Sharma coming in who had not done anything in the first class That being said, Vinay Kumar's fielding was better than Munaf Patel, though Munaf Patel was a far far better bowler than Vinay Kumar.

@@ankitg5542 You don't look like a blind hater so I will explain to you.......See if a player plays for a long time he is bound to have negative stats no matter how good he was, and it's not about failures...he doesn't have a century but he has scored 70+ overseas many times and contributed with the gloves....moreover agarkar scored that 100 in lords.....Sachin doesn't have a 100 at lords....but that doesn't mean that agarkar was better than Sachin.....if rishabh pant scored 80+ in Brisbane and rohit sharma didn't that doesn't mean he is better......Virat kohli doesn't have a 200 in odis but that doesn't mean that rohit sharma is better then vk.....Hope you get my point bro :)

I think it's because teams like SL WI SA has became failures.....so indian bowlers can perform well against them.....at those days every team were best.... especially SL....TO perform against such teams is difficult...so indian bowlers those days were superb than today's......and then also bowlers today has not able to win any icc trophies.....pathetic
@@JK-wd9mb but also a change in indian bowling lineup is that virat has given some freedom to pacers bez of which they are performing pretty well in any condition . Also now every pacer has its own variation and capabilities to win the match by own
So that's the major difference in 2011 and 2021 bowling lineup
