- In this video I make a loose #tenon #jig that duplicates the killer features of the Festool #Domino - narrow and wide slots in a single jig. And yes, I had to go there with that 'ultimate'. 🤷♂️ Enjoy!

Absolutely interested in the flat pack version!!
I travel to job sites with all my tools on public transport. Having a flat pack version that fits in my rolling toolbox would be very cool and seriously increase my quality of work :)
You have to give to Peter, he never takes credit for an idea that isn't his even if he improves the idea itself. Peter always give credit to the person who had the idea first.
Thank you. 🙌 👍
Agree. Peter is just the best!
A gentleman...
That is one of the things that brings me back here. A wealth of original knowledge, but if something is a derivative, or an improvement on other work Peter is super transparent about it 👍👍
Peter, you have a great presence, should have your own network TV show.
Ha, thank you! 👍🙌
Brilliant Peter, as a DIYer, I struggle to justify the cost of a Domino but this jig looks like just the thing I’m looking for. I have the router, all I need is a little bit of ply and a couple of spiral upcut bits👍
I’d be interested in the flat pack jig. Great idea!
I love the idea of that spacer jig for the Festool track saw. Allows one to set the track on the "wrong side" of the cut without losing a blade width's worth of material. Brilliant!
The simplest ideas are often the best! I'd be interested in the flatpack version please!
The flat pack is what was going through my mind when you started creating the jig! Yes, very interested.
Hi Peter, yes a flat pack sounds inviting, simple ideas are often the best!
Steve
Awesome idea! What a clever bloke Gordon is 👌🏼
Absolutely! 👍
Well pointed out Peter using the little bandsaw jig to align the inside face of the plywood jig in the correct position on assembly.
I like this well thought out simple designed jig, its relatively easy to make and use with instantly good results as you've shown. Tony
Simply brilliant. Brilliantly simple. Thank you - and Gordon.
Absolutely fantastic video of one of the best jigs I have ever seen. Brilliant Peter and well done Gordon. Flat pack is a grand idea.
Peter you have done it again, blown my mind with the efficacy of your delivery of both the idea and the video, fantastic idea and what a brilliant collaboration. Definitely interested in the CNC Flat Pack.
Thanks David! 👍
By far the best DIY Loose Tenon Jig I've seen so far! 10/10
Yes Please, definitely interested in the flat packed version. Great video, thank you for your inspiration.
Flat packed version sounds awesome. Great work both of you 👏
Brilliant design - well thought out for multiple uses!
From Canada - VERY interested in the flat-pack kit!!
You had recommended the star byte off-cut spacers to me. Thanks for that.
Absolutely love them - used just about every day.
I used to try and juggle my larger pieces of plywood so the ‘keeper’ piece was always under the rail. As long as blade is sharp the ‘outside’ cut has a clean edge as well.
Great idea Pete, so simple yet very effective.
Great video Peter, much appreciated. I would be very interested in a flatpack version too. Thank you.
Great idea and execution! A flat pack jig is absolutely interesting.
Absolutely interested in the flat-pack version. Yay!
Bloody brilliant idea and yet so damn simple! 👌🏽
Awesome colab, fellas. 👍🏽
Brilliant Jig Peter and Gordon. Deffinitley interested in the flat pack version. Count me in.
2:50 Thank you for that link. I’ve been trying to find the hole cover for my Makita plunge saw. Top gent 👏🏻
What a brilliant & simple idea, excellent work from both of you 👍
The simplest ideas are always the best. 100% interested in a fat pack jig. 👍👍
Yes definitely interested in the flat pack version!!
Thank you Peter. Just watched your video a couple of times to get inspired.
As soon as the vid started and I saw the jig for the 1st time I could immediately see how it works....so simple. And amazed that this is the 1st time Ive seen it. Excellent stuff
This looks great. I have bought the plans but I would also be very interested in a flat pack kit. I'm very new to wood working but I can see other applications such as making table tops etc. Excellent idea.
I am so happy I found this video! My 2 takeaways:
1. I will not buy a Festool domino
2. I will buy an MFT table
I have been looking for something like this. Definitely interested in the flat pack!
Amazing, I'm going to have to make one of these to try it out. Also, I can't believe I never knew about those waste side jigs - just the thing I need!
I’d be definitely interested in the flat pack version!
This is an amazing design. Thanks for sharing! I’d be interested in a flat pack version if available
yes for the CNC jig
Thanks so much for this Peter and Gordon. I’ve made a ropey version of this (first project on table saw so cuts aren’t great) but it is still good enough to allow me to join lengths of board together flush. For cabinet doors. Will probably make a neater looking version again.
Hi
The work is very excellent and I wish you safety and success
my regards

British ingenuity is not dead. Best thing I've seen since Concorde. Put me down for one. I can taunt my Swedish friends with it...
Stig-håkan: "How did you make this?
Me: "Flat pack, so I need never buy another wobbly bookcase".
Peter, thanks for keeping me sane through Covid.
Thank you! 🙌👍👍
Great video Peter ! I would definitely be interested in the flat pack jig set Great idea.
You never fail to amaze me Peter!
That is so good, when you have multiple carcasses it will earn its keep the first day. Parts can be interchangable or replaced so long as the original planks are the same size. Ace. O and to those that look around the ply can be found as off cuts.
Thank you Peter. Definitely would be interested in a cnc’d flat pack
Absolutely brilliant! Certainly interested inthe CNC version pending price, of course. Good work lads.
AS always excellent thanks Peter, makes my Friday getting home from work to another Peter M vid!! Stay safe and well, 'a nice cup of tea and a biscuit' how very British!! haha
I would definitely be interested in a CNC flat pack.
Love this, I'd be interested in the cnc flat pack too
Yes to CNC flat pack!
That is a great jig, I,ve been using several based on Jenn’s Mistake ‘s version, but no mid-panel slots with that one
Another yes to the flat pack, or cnc plans for it for those of us far away
I must wave watched this video 10 times ... I can't wait to get my hands on one of these ! Sure I could just make one .. But this is a nice way to throw Peter a little support. Thanks for all the great content Peter
Cannot justify the price of a domino from Festool. This is great, I shall defo be building one....
Thanks Peter. I have a Makita 1/4" router, and got it all from eBay. Many Thanks. This rookie is going to have fun!
Yes, absolutely interested in the flat pack version
Great, definitely interested in the flat pack.
Thanks for showing Peter, I'd be interested in a flat packed version
Yes, def interested in a flat pack one!
Yes indeed, a flat pack version would be great!
I'd be interested in a CNC flat pack!
Congratulations Gordon!
I really do need to get some of those 'waste side jigs' - they look so handy to make those cuts quickly and accurately! Great looking jig btw.
Thanks! And yes, the waste side jigs are brilliant! 👍👍
Bought Strawbyte jigs on PM’s recommendation. Brilliant - use them all the time
again a typical Peter Millard design. Practical and handy and inexpensive . Thanks for sharing!
This is an interesting idea. I'll definitely be interested in a flatpack version, might just tie me over until I get a domino
Definitely interested Peter, very clever idea 💡👍🏼
YES to the flat pack version !!
I would be interested in the flat pack version for sure. Great little jig
There are always people out there looking to 👎 things, but I can't figure out who came to Peter's channel, saw what this was about, watched it, and still gave it the thumbs down...? Love your work and big ups to Gordon - simple/genius.
Haha, thanks Ken! Honestly, I never notice the dislikes these days - life's too short to fret about that stuff! 👍
Very nice. It looks as quick as, or quicker than, the domino - especially if you might be new to the Festool. I'd be very interested in a flatpack version. Perhaps you could also include pre-drilled guide pin holes.
Great vid. Would definitely be interested in a flat pack version.
Wow Peter, what a brilliant jig you made! More than brilliant I must say!
Thank you! 👍
I'd buy flat pack for sure. Great concept.
Greatest, simple, loose tenin jig on the market. I'd buy a flat pack kit in a heartbeat!
Thanks! It’s coming… 👍
Genius! I think that a flat pack version of this would be good....go for it.
Thanks! 👍
This is really great!
Absolutely great idea Peter. very interested in a flat pack version, please let me know if you go ahead. Once again great video and thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks Steve! 👍
Flat Pack, yes please
Simply brilliant.
Plans purchased. Definitely a saleable item; up here in Yorkshire there's a thrifty potential when balanced against the purchase of a Domino which must not be overlooked!
Very good. Thanks for sharing.
Great idea, would definitely be interested in a CNC flat packed version.
Really good job by you both. Very neat, cost effective solution. 👌
Cheers Stew! 👍
Yet another EXCELLENT video. MANY THANKS!!!
Thanks! 👍
Brilliant, I want one!! Thanks Peter.
Great idea, and looks to be more accurate than my Festool Domino Jointer! It can't even cut parallel to the reference edge.
Great Idea - very interested in CNC flat pack version. Thoroughly enjoyed the video as always
Thanks! 👍
Thank you for another great video. I am also interested in a flat pack jig.
yes please to the flatpack, genius!
Superb! +1 for flat pack, depending on price.
Excellent. Thank you.
I’d be interested in a cnc flat pack jig… brilliant idea👍
Fantastic design and video...definitely interested in the flat pack version. I am going over the strawbyte to get some waste side jigs now, brilliant idea.
Excellent, thanks! 👍
Sign me up for the flat pack version! Such an elegant way around the ever rising cost of a Domino!
Excellent idea!! Thanks for sharing this jig idea
Thanks! 👍
Clever, clever stuff! When I get a mo’, I’ll have to have a go at making one of the carcass versions.👍👍👍
Thanks Martin! 👍
Great idea at a great time. Was saving up for a DF 500 and kit. Then my wife's health deteriorated and expenses went way up. The flat pak CNC would be an excellent replacement for the DF500. Price is not an issue as you have always been fair with that. Work with 12 and 18 mil, 1/2" and 3/4" material so would take a flat pak for each if and when available. Great design and build teamwork. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Larry, and very sorry to hear about Mrs Cs health. Hope she's on the mend. Best wishes, Peter 👍
Excellent job
Excellent Jig! Just saved me some money by not having to buy a Fancy $$$$$ machine, love the design and the possibilities! Your presentation is wonderful! I did subscribe and look forward to future ideas from you!👍👍👍👍👍!!!!!!!
That Strawbyte waste side jig is nothing less than brilliant. Never thought of using the tracksaw as a radial arm saw (or very wide cross cut saw).
Another great video. Definitely interested in the flat pack when available.
You make great videos! Thanks!
Thank you! 🙌👍
Great video, I'd be interested in the cnc flatpack version. Thanks for sharing.
Peter,
Would be really interested in a flat pack jig and once again thank you for sharing your expertise and knowledge. Best wishes, Dave .
Thanks Dave!
