- 10 years into its life on TV, CHANNEL 5 had carved out its own identity and a loyal following. But on the advent of a new corporate rebrand, how do the 2007 batch of idents stack up? Do they represent Channel 5 at its peak? Or do they let the side down at the last hurdle? In this latest episode (122) of THE IDENT REVIEW, we intend to find out!

Fun fact: Some of these idents were actually introduced in 2006 but instead of the Five logo showing, we get different words for their respective idents:
For example:
Balloons - Free
Riding - Risk
Corridor - Fear
Car Window - Feel
Five might not be the best of the British TV networks, but it does have a pretty interesting library of idents, with the 1997, 2007 and 2008 idents being the best examples.
These idents are so underrated! I mean, this is so beautifully made! I never seen an ident so beautiful like this! And at this point, channel five 2007 idents are so criminally underrated that it makes me wanna look at them forever.

I thoroughly enjoy the skydive ident. There's something really satisfying about it to watch but I think musically, it could have a tone to match the freedom of the skydive
These idents are decent- some ok, some amazing! Here’s an idea: newest S4C and BBC Alba idents! You don’t do enough non-english British channel idents (even if there aren’t much) I love one of the Alba idents and it’d be cool if you tried reviewing that and the S4C ones!

the c5 era of 2011-16 has a lot of variations that I think would make a great as their own episode look into it the best way to see the is via the ident gallery
and aswell special idents i.e idents that are themed etc

These are the most generic and forgeable idents
The only idea they had was "our logo should be unreadable for most of the idents run time"...
