The percentages donât even matter to me, Luka was clearly getting to whatever spot he wanted even when missing shots. They canât guard him.

@@stdamonsbeard No. Mavs took Cason Wallace at 10 because OKC wanted him. OKC then drafted Lively at 12 and took on Bertans' contract, as Dallas wanted to get rid of him. This created a trade exception the Mavs used to take on Richaun Holmes' contract from the Kings in exchange for getting as well the #24 pick, with which Mavs took OMax Prosper.
Essentially, Mavs helped OKC get Cason Wallace, got the guy they wanted, switched Bertans for Holmes and got OMax in the meantime. Masterful draft by Nico Harrison (Mavs went into the draft with ONLY the 10th pick)

The best analogy I've seen for Luka and Kyrie is Peter Parker and Miles Morales. They're both Spider-Man. Kyrie is Peter because he's older and teaches the young multicultural talent
It all depends on Ernie, who's said he's staying at Turner. Perhaps he's saying that to hold all the leverage when it comes to trying to pry him away, but the show can't happen without him. He's the only thing keeping the show together.
Just a little appreciation and defense for DeRozan here. I get that there are players more deserving of All NBA votes than him, but it wouldn't be completely absurd to honor him for his year. 1. He ranked #1 in the entire league of minutes played (so he's out there doing his job more than anyone). 2. Among players with similar offensive workloads (like Tatum/Edwards/Durant/Curry) his True Shooting% is above average. 3. And putting most stats together overall, he's not too far behind someone like Jaylen Brown.

Trey Kerby talked like Wolves got destroyed, this could've went either way. Not a fan of either team, but a fan of basketball, and this gonna be a long fun series to watch
The point is that the Mavs won on the road while shooting badly from 3 and the Wolves struggled to score despite hitting 12 more 3s and an outlier performance from McDanielsâŠitâs about which team has more scope to play better in remaining games
Antman didnt make a shot at the rim, that also is an outlier. They made 12 more 3s cause they shot 49 and Mavs shot 25, wtf did you expect? So whats your point? Both teams are gonna do things differently in the coming games, Wolves came from a 7 game series that finished two days before. So your point is they probably will do poorly the remaining games cause of game 1? Lets see if your right. My point remains, this game was one shot from being 1-0 Wolves up and people would be talking completelt different about the game, this is gonna be a tough series. Inside the NBA is not as good as it once was but ESPN is so bad it's still way better than the alternative. Also Wolves built their team specifically to beat the Nuggets but forgot about any of the other good teams they might've faced.

This podcast is trash bunch of grown men emoting like gen Z-ers. The NBA uses hawk eye optical tracking⊠literally the same technology used in other sports like tennis to determine correct calls. Thatâs why the goaltending review happened so fast.
