Check your info Owen, Varane came off for fear of a mild concussion against Brentford. When he brought up concussions he clearly stated he had no new injuries or prolonged injury. But and I know from experience the more concussions you've sustained the easier it is to get concussed.
Where has that been reported?
Varane spoke about concussions across his career with Madrid & France in his interview with L’Equipe (conducted 3 days before the Brentford game). He did say he has pulled out of games in the past at United due those issues.
However it hasn’t been reported anywhere that’s why he came off against Brentford. Only that he came off as a precaution after tackling Ivan Toney and his injury was “not too bad”.
