I've always played that mistake, thinking it will transpose.

Good question! I will make it in my next video then! :)
The bishop wants to be on c8 or b7, in the spanish. If Bg4 in that move order you can play h3 and bh5 g4 and the bishop on g6 is terrible.
You can also play h3. If bishop h5 you can do some knight d2 f1 g3 action to chase the bishop away
@@rg5_rl714 yeah agrees, the pin Bg4 lost its power if it can be chased around with h3 and Ng3
