In this video, we give this pair of Carolina Logger Boots a makeover. A customer mailed these to us for a complete refurbishment of his boots, so that's what we did. With new Vibram Montagna soles/heels, and some additional upgrades along the way, this pair of Carolina boots ended up looking...new! Time for another restoration!

As someone who takes a lot of pride in their own craft (electrician) it is so interesting to see how you guys take care of the boots that let me do my job properly. You guys killed it man. Awesome looking boots. This was a dying trade & you guys bring so much light and positive vibes to the craft. I really respect the hard work and attention to detail you guys put into each pair you work on. I am 34 years old & I went & got myself a nice pair of Thorogood moc-toe boots for work. I was so used to buying Wal-Mart specials until I found channels like this & Rose Anvil. HaHa now I'm a bit of a boot snob but I'm ok with it. The difference in having a nice pair of quality boots to some cheapies is unreal. IT'S WORTH IT! Especially if your on your feet all day like I am your boots are the most valuable tool you can have & it's often overlooked.

I would have no idea. However I expect some if not all Carolina products are China made as are many of the flagship boots from my younger years Red Wing. Around 1978-9 I spent a day or so in Red Wing MN. At that time most or all their boots were made right there. I wonder what is left of the town now days.

I have this exact pair of boots. I actually picked them out myself from a catalog as a gift from my mother in law 20 years ago. They lasted forever, but I found out within about a month that my feet were not designed to wear loggers. My toes were numb for the three years that I wore them. I guess from the higher heel? I still have them, thinking about having a more traditional sole put on. They're still good boots. I hate to waste them!

I really liked the look of the natural stacked leather heel. It gives the boot imo a more rugged look. How were you able to flatten out the kilties on these boots ? I removed the ones I had on a pair of Red Wing boots because I didn't like the way they eventually curled up. BTW I'm always amazed at how well the Saphir conditioner works to restore dry tired old leather. Makes me think I should try their conditioner on my face. :-D Have a great weekend guys. : )

I have georgia goretex loggers..they are great boots, ive had them for about 14 years and had them rebuilt a few years ago...they didn't do as good a job as you all, though. Theybare currently at another shop being stretched, probably gonna pick them up today. Hopefully.

Glad I found this channel! Amazing work! Let me know when you take orders again. I have a pair of White's Logger Boots that I've had for around 10 years while working on the Railroad. I'd like to do a makeover. I know them boots are built like a tank! Keep up the good work!

It's a shame he didn't go full rebuild, a leather insole would have been a huge upgrade.
