Joe Hart, if not kicked out by Pep, would be in the debate of one of the best prem goalies ever, unreal goalkeeper, killing it at Celtic rn (i agree with theo on how much more he could have achieved since Joe hart was unbelievable, even Messi said he was the hardest goalkeeper he played against)
I thought that was Fraser Forster? Messi said Barcelona needed to sign him after losing 2-1 to Celtic
@@adamwallis3235 that too! i saw that messi said something like joe hart was incredible i can't really remember since it was in 2015
@@adamwallis3235 edit, he said joe was phenomenal
For once Theo is completely correct. Once he left city he became bog standard. His form completely went the second he stepped foot outside city, his dip happened crazy young for a gk at 28. Would have expected mid 30’s
But he isn't completely correct, the whole point was wasted potential, Joe Hart was signed for 100k and managed to break into the starting 11 and be the starter for years. He was never expected to do what he achieved
If you think Theo is correct then lord save you
He’s got multiple premier leagues, played in multiple leagues, capped for his country well over 50-60 times… stick to watching tiktok reels lads.
In all fairness playing in multiple leagues doesn't rlly make any sense like how does that prove he reached potential😂don't think its that bad tbf theo isn't saying hes terrible so bringing up prem titles and emgland caps don't mean much he's just saying he was good enough to go further and do more
2 golden gloves aswell
@@morgankeeble3208 “bringing up pl titles and England caps doesn’t mean much” - I think you’ll find they mean quite a bit. There’s no way of proving exactly how much potential someone has. Point is Joe Hart had a career which anyone would be satisfied with when they start out so including him on that list was a very poor take. Could he have done more, potentially, but he should be nowhere near that list.
Played in multiple leagues definitely aint an argument but I get your point and do agree
Yes but the question is could he have reach a higher potential, I’d be inclined to say yes. Still won a lot and did a lot but the guy was on the way to being of the best in the world.
What's ironic is Hart and Butland are the number ones for the Old Firm clubs right now
Loe Fart was incredible. 😘
I’m very much in Theo’s camp. He fell off majorly post-City in arguably his prime years as a keeper.
These two probs didn’t even watch him outside of city
didn’t need to, hart was city & englands number 1 for ages
Nobody said Joe Hart would be like Casillas or Buffon.
He did reach his potential. He was a good GK not one that was ever going to be Buffon Neuer Cech Kahn Casillas level.
Theo just dug himself a bigger whole throughout the video
He's a legend, he came into my school as a GK teacher, absolute legend, one of the nicest famous people I have ever met
He was very good at City but towards the end of the that spell he didn’t do anything and got moved on from Burnley and Torino for not being good enough. I get Theo’s point tbh
There’s a difference between wasted potential and getting worse with age …
That’s not the point, he reached his potential then got worse with age
@@danzendler7158 yeah but think people expected him to be a top keeper for awhile but he just dropped off a cliff by the time he was like 28
Problem with Joe Hart was he was weak to his bottom left and when he went to Italy players studied him and would bury shots bottom left
Saying Joe Hart over performed is actually more disrespectful as saying he didn't reach his potential. Lewis and Tom are making out like it's a sleight saying Joe Hart didn't reach his potential.
Joe hart the only English keeper to reach 50 champs league appearances
I can see what Theo is saying tbf
He’s good at Celtic atm ffs 😂
He had a great career, if he could of done better then he wouldn’t of fell off so hard after city 🤷🏼♀️
toms better with his hands that hart ayy
Theo’s right. He could still be at the top level to this day. Not sure why the other two are being so naive
Because joe hart was a top top keeper
@@isaacpepper5224 did Theo not say that like 40 times
Joe Hart is 36 now making it about 8 years since he was playing/at the top level really. Everyone lists his acheivements before the age of 28 which proves Theos point. He's certainly not a flop but he could have had easily another 5+ years achieving more than he did
Played in the champions league this season 👍
@shaymullen4697 ah yes because that completely disproves my point
He also conceeded 15 and finished 4th in that group👍🏻
If joe Hart had come along ten years earlier, we would be talking about him as one of the best ever. The game evolved and joe Hart didn't. He is by far one of the best of his generation.
Yeah I agree, I get Theo’s point but he’s just awful at explaining it😂
Back in the day where for a goalkeeper, he wouldn't even hit his prime at 28
Pep did ruin his career, He could of carried on at the very top which is what theo is saying
Joe Hart basically went from one of the best goalkeepers in the league to falling off really hard. He definitely did not reach his potential because of that fall off. He could of been a great but now he isnt looked at in the best light by alot of people.
Exactly this, went from winning the league with City to not wanted by Burnley or Torino after having spells there
How didn’t he reach potential?
