for the hot water issue.. boil water in the kettle, plug kitchen sink, pour it in there with some water from tap and you have hotish water! (:
lil dishwashing tip: when it comes to stuff like oatmeal that hardens up, you can fill up the bowl with water when u leave it in the sink so that when you eventually get around to cleaning it. it's softened.

i highly recommend doing a clothing declutter session. Then your storage problem is parlty fixed since you can fit it in the white closets

She's doesn't even have a storage problem. She has a lot of clothes, but the rest of her apartment (and her closest too) is gigantic and not that cluttered tbh. Meanwhile me sitting in my one room full of clutter😂

@@teclad yeah well I guess it's the over consumerism in general, I don't wanna exclude myself there but I definitely cope with shopping for other issues lol. But yes her apartment is really pretty I have to say. I'm European and I think it has a vintage charme (especially the bathroom and the brick wall) and I rarely see something like that in US American vlogs.

I know you didn't ask lol but have you thought about getting an electric kettle and heating up water in there that you can plug up the sink and pour into the sink for hot water for dishes? and then you could also use it for it's purpose ofc lol

Pro-tip: Spray a little non-stick cooking spray on the oatmeal bowl before putting the oatmeal/cooking the oatmeal in the bowl. All you will need to do is rinse the bowl when you're done. No more oatmeal concrete.

to solve your cord bundle issue: get a wooden crate, put a long side on the floor with the bottom facing out, place the cords inside, then push it against the wall. if you need to access them regularly this might not be too practical but it hides a lot
You can put shelving in your storage room up high over the clothes rail or wall cabinets to store the bigger stuff like the cooler. And attach lights on the bottom of the shelves to shine down on your clothes or wall cabinets. Different color LEDs or just to make the room brighter to see what your looking at. The cable management ikea sells plastic tubing that combines all the wiring to a white cylinder look so it’s not wiring chaos happening on your floor.

I have hard water where I live and even with a water filter my tub will start to get orange in some spots. Bar keepers friend is a miracle worker!! Use it on the tub and it should remove the rust!

@3:48 if you want hot water. Go to the water heater and turn up the heat on the water heater. In most cases someone turned it down (landlord) and then never turned it back up. otherwise it needs to be replaced. Most city law include standard temps for hot water as a basic necessity that the landlord must provide. Basically, if you can't turn up the heat on the hot water, the heater has to be replaced.

Try bon ami cleaner on the rust in the tub! We have wicked hard water and constantly get rust stains in the bathroom and that works so well.
