Airwolf rules! 👍 Gilly, you are correct that it is quite a pity that this project has failed. I feel very sorry and angry for the people who invested their hard-earned money into this Kickstarter. While there is always an inherent risk to Kickstarters, sometimes they pay off, however, in this scenario it went south.
If Conrad Murphy who is the head of Mars Industries can't deliver, fair enough, but he must at the very least refund all of his paying customers their money because it's the principle of the thing.
On a side note, I plan to check out your content and as a fellow geek and content creator, I like to support artists of every branch and enjoy seeing their creations come to life! 😃
I look forward to seeing more of your videos! You just earned a new subscriber and friend! 😎

@julianschecter Any failed Kickstarter hurts deep. This one did have potential. Delays happen. They're inevitable. But it's important to deliver and fulfill. If you can't, at the very least, refunds should be given back to the customers.
Thank you for the encouraging comment. Your support goes a long way. Made my day, friend. 🙏🏼

The theme song was the Hawkmen Battle theme from Flash Gordon played at different tempo.

I'll tell you why airwolf failed. I know exactly why. The person, "conrad" has no technical competence on how to make a project such as this. He believed that the 16 dollar 3d model of a helicopter that was scaled at a much smaller size - purchased on cults 3d - can merely he resized, chopped up on Microsoft 3d builder, slapped together can be resin 3d printed on a single printer for all those people. The guy was a real fool to even try such a thing without having any idea. There are large 3d printing shops that specialize in such a thing but he did not go that route. My issue with this is that many of us with experience in this field saw the eminent failure from far away but everyone ignored our warnings! Especially yt channels that showcased the airwolf project! Those channels used their big view count to try and discredit real people that are model making experts that were trying to tell everyone that the project was a failure!

Sure it's sad when highly anticipated crowdfund projects don't make it but the real message of this video should be "Caveat Emptor." The man behind this particular project was a belligerent con and in no way compensated his customers.

It's possible. I also found out he was trying to 3D print, and deliver these, which is crazy, but still not sure the expenses on that. On the surface, it seems that 70k should've been enough to cover 189 backers, but if the original 3d print models were bad, and have to keep reprinting finding the perfect combination, could be another way to drain resources.

@@gillywritescomics It gets even worse: Remember that the 70k he recieved also had to cover the development/production of seven action figures and two additional helicopters (the Redwolf and the Santa Air) that he'd added as stretch goals.

Conrad (owner of Mars) is an arrogant, incompetent buffoon. His bragging before and during this project about his "experience" and failing this badly speaks volumes about him as a person.
