    I always get TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'getLinkUrl') (line 5). Why is that?
    Am using the formula =GETLINK(CELL("Address";R2))

    • @BetterSheets
      @BetterSheets  Před rokem

      perhaps the semicolon in "Address";R2 needs to be a comma? The error is saying that the input is null, or rather it's getting nothing from your input.

  • @cliffordmpaulick
    @cliffordmpaulick Před rokem +2

    2:50 You said we must surround the `input` with quotes, like `=GETLINK("D2")`
    But then if you rearrange cells, things break, as that's not dynamic :(
    So do this instead: `=GETLINK(cell("Address",D2))`

    • @vinayrao3273
      @vinayrao3273 Před rokem

      I haven't rearranged any cells. I have 100 rows of URLs. After the first 5-6 rows which were accurate, the rest are all jumbled and don't correspond to the reference cell in the row. Is there a way to avoid this?

    • @BetterSheets
      @BetterSheets  Před rokem +1

      You can use indirect() and concatenate to create the cell reference.
