Nathan . Always love the wealth of information. Getting my black beast back . Rear differential seal and finally fixing the passenger restraint code .... the seat mat was bad . 700 buck . It’s not a poor mans game . Anyways getting the carbon fiber door sills in soon . Clearing customs as we speak . Will be a first time seeing it ever on a e60 ;) separate me from the pact .

Wow; Never driven a e90. But the fog lights on the F30 are AMAZING. It's the only car I've ever owned that the fog lights actually DO anything on.
Your problem is bulbs bro not the lights. All the lights do is have a lens and supply power through a cable. Its up to the bulb to perform. Buy some phillips high end fog light bulbs or something
128 windows and Bowden cables freeze below 20f always. You can close all vents except one pointing at the handle while the car warms up it helps. Been late for work over that. Yes Ford folding mirrors lock up in the ice as well, luckily the feature can be deactivated. Have a good one Nathan

if you have the mirror adjuster switch set to move on the left mirror and put the car in reverse the right side mirror will point towered the curb
dude i knew i'd heard you before. I like MRE's as well as BMW's.
pre-LCI E90 also has OEM adaptive Xenon headlights with angel eyes, like on my 330i. Way better.

LCI e90s do too, depending on the model. They come standard on the 335i. On mine, I changed the bulbs to LED and they look even better

@@theoforest6463 I think they both come standard on 335i depending on the country. At least all the 335i models I’ve personally seen have adaptive bi-xenon. I’ve yet to see one with xenon but not adaptive. I HAVE seen other models with adaptive halogen headlights. A friend of mine drives a 2014 X1 that has halogen headlights but adaptive. Btw you can also turn off the adaptive feature on e9x. All you have to do is manually turn the headlights on instead of setting them to Auto.

Also Nathan I have a quick question for you I’m one of my E-40sixes with the M 52 to you I just change the water pump recently and decided to not put the fan clutch and fan back on like I seen you had done a few cars. Did they run a little bit warmer when you did this? Mine seems to run a little bit warmer it’s a slightly above middle .

My left driver side mirror won’t fold or tilt in reverse and it almost breaks in the car wash. Any advice?

Lci models don't have the trunk lock, power mirrors don't auto stow and oil can be checked with the multi function switch or idrive. Pretty sure you're showing pre lci specifics only.

That seems to be the latest problem on my 06 E90.
Ever figure this out ? I’ve been throwing a junction box code since I bought the car but I’ve never had any issues I’ll clear the codes but that one always comes right back immediately but like I said I’ve never had any other problems because of it.
What about the power outlet in the passenger footwell? I bet alot of e9x and e6x owners don't know they have that

The LCI have a number of differences from the pre LCI that make your odds and ends not that relevant.
It’s a lot more complex than that, 06 has things a 07 don’t , 2011 has a lot of things a 08-10 don’t have cosmetics and drive train differences

It was a legit video, tired of people speaking about user manual crap. You spoke as an engineer of bmw. I looked for it and after tons of research found you. Hope to meet you and speak to about my cars the same. You’ve got a 5 series 540i I guess behind the scene and also a 1 series and an old x series and it showed me that you know bmw in its blood. Love from a fellow Beemer lover. We are always looked down upon but these are great machines. I have one thing to say personally….Audi- rip the hell out of them, Mercedes-stay classy, merc amg-hell yea and take off, BMW - feel it, just feel the drive and that’s bmw.

Do you know how to turn Bluetooth & connect it to your phone to listen to music for a 2009 328i bmw?
Auto zone has a Bluetooth device that’s pretty cheap $20 bucks maybe and comes with an aux connector. The aux hole is under the console in the middle when you lift it up. Connect that then connect your phone to the Bluetooth device.
The instructions to setup up phone to car Bluetooth are found the the owners manual. This is for telephone audio only not for playing music. The aux in the center console is for playing music
On top of those previous comments, if you want Bluetooth for music, you need to upgrade your module to have Apple car play/android auto, plus updated maps.
My 2007 328i side mirrors are haunted. They fold out beyond the lock position when I unlock my car with the key fob.. I have to physically put them in position. My car has 238,000 miles.

Same here did you fix it? My left nitro won’t fold or tilt in reverse but the right is perfectly fine
@@mellowvibez2185 My mirrors have been locked in place. My mechanic took a look and couldn't fit them. I just hope they stay in place. I have 249,000 miles on her, and she's running well.

Hey Nathan, wanted to share my experience with BMW Doctor Dean with you see if you have any input. Few months ago I bought one of the tuned ecu’s he was advertising on his channel, 2 months go by and nothing comes in the mail, and i try to get a hold of him and he blocks me on everything i had contact with him through. The whole time he kept saying fedex is sending it but corona is slowing it down which i get, but it’s been 4 months and i haven’t heard from dean in two months. He obviously scammed me
Wow that is terrible... Did you ever get the tuned ecu from Doctor Dean? I reached out to him yesterday for the same product but he also has failed to respond...

How do you activate the rear tailgate fog lights on an E53? I'm sure there are other models that would work the same way.
You need to buy the European headlight switch with the rear fog light button. I installed the Euro switch in my E90 and it worked without needing to be coded. I found them at Turner Motorsports and ECS Tuning.

Random but does anyone know why some bmw x drive have 328xi on the back of the car and some only have 328i? I have x drive but the x is not embossed in the back of the car like this one. Been wondering why lol
The 2006-2008 all wheels drive e90 bmw have the 328/330/335XI
The facelift model from 2009-2013 have the X-drive logo under the side blinker near the front wheel arch.

I took my X3 to the dealer for oil change today it costs 150.they want 170 for a whole vehicle inspection.but at least my n52 is running great again 👍

I don’t agree with you on the folding mirrors. I have reset a bunch of them. What happens is due to going over bumps the gears are misaligned and then they are fold all the way out towards the front of the car. All you need to do is unfold them all the way out towards the front of the car, then go in the car and turn the ignition but don’t start the car. Shut the door press the folding button and both mirrors will fold all the way in and you will hear a loud click noise. Then when you press the button again they will fold out and stay in position. That’s how you reset them. Also it can be reset using Bimmer Geeks protool. There’s no pin jammed. I have saved a few guys replacing the whole housing.
I have a 2010 e92 and I don't have a key hole in the trunk.
E92 is different

@@lawless201 it's software that the dealership would use to diagnose, code, communicate with the car, update the computers, register a new battery, etc.
