Came across this video today! THANK THE LORD!!! I’m coordinating a Christmas Brunch for my company and my theme is Winter Wonderland! Thank you for the ideas!! Will definitely be making these 😁😁😁
Those flat marbles are really pretty shattered with a bit of mirror in them. Bake them then dump the hot glass in ice water, they crack all over (this is even pretty) then cover and smash with a mallet so they break into tiny little pieces. The mirror m can be included in this or if you have the mirror m spray paint that looks like a mirror spray the top layer and let dry then mix. If you have littles then mod podge the inside of the clear bulb and sprinkle some inside otherwise do on the outside.
All projects are beautiful but I LOVE the bulbs with Epsom salt! Really creative!
I would use blue gems but I love your ideas. You could use the fake snow thanks I will use your ideas

Great ideas. I was looking to invest in some high end ornaments, but I'm gonna bling out my old ornaments with glass beads instead. I already have small round beads, which will create a hob nail look on the baubles. I'll be picking up some more. The possibilities are endless. Thanks for this video.

To remove the gems, try using a hairdryer to warm the glue, then they should come right off.

These are some great ideas. I’m always so far behind getting my but into gear. I think I can make several of these by this Christmas, I love Ice-sickles
All three very pretty. I'd use chunky glitter in the 1st one as I've heard other crafters say that Epson salts don't hold up year to year

These are so good and cost effective, which is important for me. I also can buy these pieces in a discount store because we don,t have Dollar Tree or Dollar Lobby shops here in Australia Beautiful: Note: I,m going to try adding a little sparkle inside the clear ball, I think it would look great. I read that Epson salts doesn't last long term. That's why I'd use chunky glitter
Cool icycle ornaments.
They indeed do not. A couple years ago I coated candles in them using mod podge for adhesive. The next day the Epsom salts had all shrivelled up and it looked horrible. I'm sure the time varies by brand of Epsom salt and how humid the environment is, but yeah it was 10 hours or less for me.
I’ll bet the Epsom salt ones also smelled nice
I use finger nail polish in different colors on the jems

@@StyleMySweets thank you nail polish is a go to on small items to add color. And glitter polish to seal it in
Mrs. Mack I just did a Blue DIY ornament video and used polish for some things in there but never really thought about painting the gem stones! And I like the idea of the glitter polish too 😍
I love all three, will the salt come off, I see some use it for snow also .
The salt stays on for the whole season. I actually don't save the ones with salt on them at the end of the season because with humidity changes and such throughout the year, I'm not sure how the salt would really hold up and look after a year of sitting in a box ....using salt inside the ornament as snow is really beautiful as well and then I would just dump the salt out at the end of the season so it doesn't absorb moisture and get clumpy in there during the the course of the year. Hope that helps! ❤️

If you want to use the gems again, use your hair dryer; it warms up the glue and it is easily removable.

Do the epson salts cloud up after awhile ?
Donna Lewis mine seemed to be fine through the Christmas season but I haven’t pulled any Christmas decor out yet. I guess the ones I put thicker mod podge on, I guess they did cloud up a little bit turning more white as they dried from absorbing the moisture, maybe? Either way they still looked pretty cool 😊

SUGAR XYLER awww, that’s so cute. I remember as a kid I apparently was the bad kid because I was always relegated to the basement as punishment. I remember eating the salt they use to spread on the sidewalks to cut through the ice.
