My corgi got it after being vaccinated before going to the groomer I'm on a fixed income because I'm disabled I had doxycycline prescription from my Dr that I haven't taken I started the antibiotic because I think either the vaccine made him sick or his body hasn't built up an immunity to it I adjusted the doxycycline to his weight and gave Benadryl for the cough so far I think he's getting better if after 7-10 days of antibiotics he isn't better then ill take him to the vet I gave the antibiotic with food sometimes when my Dr suggests antibiotics I wait a few days before taking them because people can build an immunity to them but this is the first time my corgi has needed antibiotics I'm glad I had the right ones on hand because a vet trip could easily cost $150 dollars but I will go to the vet if he's not better in a week!
