    Love you guys, keep up the great work. Really eye-opening hearing your happiness and hardships about moving to another country. Good on you both.

    I used Seven Seas when I moved back to the U.K.. I don’t usually bother leaving comments on videos but it’s justified here. They were absolutely brilliant. Incredibly friendly, professional and super efficient. Hope they get some extra business from your video.

    Hi, love your videos. They’re super helpful. Can I just ask when you pack your movecube, are you able to disassemble items such as a bed and have it as a flat pack type style so that you can reassemble it when it arrives, or does everything have to go in boxes? Thanks 😊

    • @ThatJohnstonLife

    Hey great video, thanks for being so up front about it. I had a question for you, after learning customs etc (and paying that fee), did you get taxed on items too? Ive spoken to seven seas and they mentioned that I could be taxed on items from 0-15%?

    • @ThatJohnstonLife

    Hello. Just randomly found your videos and have found them super useful. I will be moving to Brisbane in 2021 and will also use sevenseas. One question, If you have yet to find accommodation, where can you tell sevenseas to ship to? Thanks

    • @ThatJohnstonLife

      Originally we put down a hotel address we thought we might stay at, when we had a more permanent address we wanted our stuff delivered to, we contacted sevenseas to change the address

    Your comment that 31c is "really hot" made me think. What are the ratings for us where I live; somewhat further north than you.
    I would call 222-26 "nice" - 27--30c "a bit warm" - 31-35c " a bit hot" - 36-42 "bloody hot"

    Hoe many boxes did you fit in your small cube, I've been looking at the large cube as we have a couple of furniture items to fit in. Did you take things like bedding, sheets, towels etc??

    • @ThatJohnstonLife
      @ThatJohnstonLife  Před 3 lety +1

      No bedding, mainly sentimental things. We fit about 12-14 boxes, but it depends on the size of them. No furniture, only things we couldn't replace in Australia

    • @ThatJohnstonLife

      It was definitely worth it as we sent over a lot of family stuff, things we wouldn't be able to buy again here. So I would definitely recommend sending anything with sentimental value

    After you got your visa, was your wife and daughter automatically allowed too? Or did you each have to get a visa to live there as a resident?

  • @davidgent8921
    @davidgent8921 Před 3 lety +1

    Did you not need to give a delivery address at point of booking, from your other videos it seemed you chose that place after arrival.

    • @ThatJohnstonLife
      @ThatJohnstonLife  Před 3 lety +2

      We did, however we used the hotel we were staying at for quarantine. They don't care what the initial address is, as this can be changed once you have a confirmed address. Just make sure you beat your shipment to Australia!
