For the train enthusiasts ......... GWR No 5537 Prairie Tank Locomotive 2-6-2 55XX class locomotive. Built 1928. 🙂 The "tank" locomotive design, as the name suggests, features a water tank integrated into the body of the engine, eliminating the need for a separate tender.

I was up there yesterday - They are still there, but didn't seem to be making a noise or interacting with people in the park - You'll see where they are in next Mondays video, but chances are they will be gone before you arrive 👍👍👍

It wouldn't surprise me - More 'incidents' to be reported in upcoming vids - I went up there yesterday and filmed them from a distance. Still there... 👍 'Family Event' was the reason for the hours changing at the Chinese - But all good - I had my Curry as usual :)

Sad that the park got broken into, apparently our friends got moved on from Newton. The steam locomotive “a prairie tank “ was built in 1928 -55xx class and was an integral part of the GWR . Lovely day and an expensive one for me lol Great walk mate and nice to see folks enjoying the weather
Honestly after this weeks goings on. Switzerland looks a lovely place to live. We have school boys with a badge of honor causing constant damage and knowing they can get away with it. Its so disturbing
@@BillsPhoneTeignmouth seems I'm mistaken, livery is not clear in photo but found another reference to it from the Didcot Railway Centre which states "On this day in history - 28 August 1936, the 11.15am train from Totnes to Exeter St David’s was hauled by 2-6-2T locomotive No 5537. This photograph shows the train making a fine sight as it runs along the sea wall between Teignmouth and Dawlish. It is scanned from a postcard-size print in the Great Western Trust collection at Didcot Railway Centre. The image originates from the LCGB Ken Nunn collection. The train has nine coaches, which seems a heavy load for a small prairie of the 4575 class, especially for the climb from Totnes station to Dainton Tunnel. The front five coaches look like the original train, with four older coaches, such as clerestories, at the back. Maybe the four were added at Newton Abbot after the climb was over. We did look at the 1936 timetable in the Great Western Trust collection, but there is no merger with this train at Newton Abbot, so it is a mystery. Maybe No 5537 had banking assistance from Totnes to Dainton Tunnel. "

Happy to report that upon my visit yesterday (to find the travellers still camped up in Mules park) Doggo is not only fine, he is STILL wearing the bandana! So, I guess sometimes we can have nice things... 👍👍👍
