👍 It is nice to see them appreciate their fans ! I wonder where Mick Mars was, and it was nice to see Nikki Sixx at home to be with his son. While that was roughly 30 years ago, I am glad to see that they are still alive, and for the most part (except for Vince Neil's ribs, Mick Mars's back) doing better today.
@@yomomsahoe5797 I wish that was NOT the case. I have been reading about his condition, and I am hoping that he is involved in a muti-faceted treatment. From my level of understanding, if he can treat the Ankylosing Spondylitis, without surgery that would be fantastic. However, if he needs surgery, I hope he is in good hands with a legitimate surgeon.
all motley records are overrated because they have so much filler. Dr Feelgood has a lot of filler that most fans overlook. based on the 3 nominees, Poison should've won
Mick Mars is the heart of that band. His tone and approach made them. I've been more of a hater than a fan after Shout At The Devil but Mick is the man, no doubt.

Dr Feelgood, Kickstart my heart, same old situation, without you, girl don't go away mad ....the album had staying power in the charts due to the singles above
the last great moment w/Vince before he bailed for the solo career and race car career. what a mistake. his inability to adapt to the change in music was Vince's downfall. MC ended up writing/recording a fantastic record w/Corabi in '94
motley crue over kiss for an award in 1991 for dr feelgood for best heavymetal album is good who cares if gene simmons smirkmed not kiss fan but motley crue fan big time thomas mersman
That was a slow process. In spite of the hipster revisionism, heavy metal and hard rock bands actually did well during the grunge era (Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, even fuckin Firehouse all had hits). It was after the grunge era that hard rock bands of all types sort of faded out and the hip hop era began. This was for many reasons, not the least of which was because the giant bands of the first half of the 90's (Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Guns N Roses, and Metallica) were more or less finished and there were no new hot rock and roll bands to take their place in the spotlight. Motley Crue fired Vince Neil in '92 and their new singer wasn't as well received, which is why they faded out earlier than most bands.
Burt Kocain i remember ronnie james dio said in 94, that 80s bands needed to not be afraid to be a little progressive to keep things going in the era of grunge. Saying if your aerosmith youll be okay
someone down below here said that the album with corabi was good and that the rest of the band and vince didn't want to reunite, the corabi album sucked vince, his solo album sucked, vince thought he had david lee roth success to look forward to, they were all wrong. when nikki six put out a solo album it only did so so, face motley crues success requires the 4 of them plain and simple. its proven that no one wants to see them individually or with a different line up, it just wouldn't be........ motley crue
lol, the Corabi album is better than anything after Shout at the Devil. Only Saints of Los Angeles comes close. Dr Feelgood was generic, lightweight late 80s glam rock. At that point in their careers Crue could've put out anything and it would have gone to #1, hell, Girls Girls Girls was supposed to go #1 but Whitney Houston came along.
@flash 22 agreed. I've been a Crue fan since Theater and the Corabi album is just.... insanely better. I listen to the Corabi album more than any other album. I actually don't listen to anything they've put out since because it's been pure shit. Love, Devil, Girls and the self titled are their best discs by far.
@@AzaelGaming Slice of Your Pie, Dr. Feelgood and Kickstart My Heart are the good heavy songs on that album. Everything else is cliche 80s cock rock. Come on, She Goes Down, Rattlesnake Shake? What absolute tripe. I can appreciate Don't Go Away Mad as a fun little pop song.
Just over two weeks later, the whole thing ended for Motley Crue. They would never be as good again with this line-up. They did a truly epic album with Corabi, but they just turned into a bunch of greedy egotistical sellouts after that, bending to label pressure over and over again by taking back Vince, which something that none of them really wanted.
@@southernbelle126 Because it was vastly different (and far superior) from anything they'd ever done in the past. I don't blame people for not liking it.... but it isn't "Motley" that we'd all grown to love. Plus grunge was basically destroying the LA metal scene (thank god). It was the worst time for that album. Even Mick and Tommy say that it's one of their favourite albums.
00:30-00:32 the most 80s high five of all time
yet in the 90s
Gene Simmons with that "We should've been nominated and won" smirk.
For hot in the shade? Just stop.
Vince Neil looks like Garth from Wayne's World
lmao
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😁😁😂😂😂😂👍👍👍
😅😅
I've followed motley cruel since 83 and I've never seen Vince in anything but sunglasses except here....,and he doesn't look like Garth...,.
Gene's face....
yes, he was less than impressed.
Gene is genes biggest fan someone else winning a award is inconceivable to his over inflated ego
I'm sure he'd be really impressed with Poison winning?
So Kiss wasn’t nominated for revenge hahahah

Motley Crue - Dr. Feelgood !!!
the best hard rock album ever!!!

No...not at all. Too Fast For Love and Shout were the Crue’s magnum opuses.

Tommy’s hair !!! ... 👍🏽
i didn't know John Denver was in Mötley Crü
Took words right out of my mouth
Love Vince's Nigel Tufnel tribute hair style.

He don’t deserve one lol
And behind Gene was Milton Berle wondering who the f*&k Motley Crue is.
@@someguy4911 Not necessarily. His nephew was in Ratt.
“Crüe “ 🎸💥
An award, that speaks volumes, and like a picture paints a thousand words, more power to the M.C. band.
Milton Berle, metal fan. R.I.P.
GOOD OLD "UNCLE MILTY" ‼️
so this was in 91 and Dr Feelgood came out in 89 ???
Late 89. It's like when Michael Jackson's Thriller won all those awards in 84 after being released in 82.
True. It was only 15 months after the album came out.
Back then if a song was a hit, it was still considered new when it had been out for a couple of years.
Dr Feelgood, Kickstart my heart, same old situation, without you, girl don't go away mad ....the album had staying power in the charts due to the singles above
Lol I just listened to an old interview were Mick says he hates awards. No surprise he wasn’t there, that’s for sure.
He doesn't need an award to know how good he is!
Se extraña cuando había competencias ante tremendos grupasoss
Vince's hair was cute
and the winner is Garth Algar
Why did Tommy feel the need to put his mouth right on the microphone? LOL!
Bc he's an idiot lol
Gene Simmons looking happy for them!🤣
This is right before they fired Vince .

No. Vince was gone in 1992,
Gene was like god damn theses guys
Please don’t blaspheme the Name of God. Peace!

Dr. feel good album was real good
Vince Neil 🖤
Ha gene Simmons face
Two short years later, Vince would be out of the band.
NIKKI , PLEASE HEAR "CATER", ,PLEASE.
Vince goin for that respected sophisticated rocker look!😒
Gene doesnt seem happy
And it was vincel who said that Dr. Feelgood is a worst album lol
