$9 Lidl Glider RC conversion - NEVER fly with a bent propeller!

  • Hurriedly threw on some spare servos, old ESC, and 1806 motor on a EPO (?) foam glider from Lidl that was meant to be a kid's toy to throw around. It flies great until you start hitting trees.

    Which battery

      I used two types and both work well. 2S 800mah and 3S 1000 mah. Just make sure to move them aft or forward to maintain the CG.

      @@vwing7332 Racerstar 1806, 18 amp ESC, 5 X 3 prop. If you only want to use a 2S battery, go with a 10 amp ESC.

      @@vwing7332 if you're going with a 3S, pick one from 500 mah to 850 mah. You'll have plenty of power and flight times of over 6 minutes or more if you get up high, catch thermals, and turn off the motor while you glide around.
