NO PAD that does not come flat packed and have a 500x500 option in what's basically 2024 has NO BUSINESS being above the EM-C - That gsr2 is not even s tier. It's on par with a £15 Razer pad.

Just got the freefall delivered today. Honestly, it's a banger of a pad for flicks tracking is iffy compared to my speed pads but can make it work. Also the colour is so beautiful.

I have been doing some personal testing with a few mousepads that I own. The mouse is a huge factor in the feel of the mousepad. Using Logitech Superlight on an Artisan feels way better compared to using it on an LGG Saturn. Meanwhile, using Harpe Ace feels better on the Saturn compared to Artisan. There is also a level of personal bias. I will say, my results were somewhat surprising.

As someone with an Artisan Hyate Otsu Xsoft, I'm curious how the Freefall compares or if they are quite similar. I've been looking for something slightly more controlled than Otsu as I struggle with some micro adjustments and overshoot. Was interested in the frefall/saturn pro/ vaxee pb/artisan zero. Maybe it's just a skill issue or sense issue. As I used to play with the heavy ec1 and a qck when I was aiming at my best. Now my mouse is 50g instead of 100g and much faster pad.

I'm looking for something a bit slower + I'm getting bored of the black design (but would rather perform, so design is not so important). RIP shipping for the FreeFall SV is 25$ which is a pass for me (EU)...

Goated list! Have you tried the 6mm Tang Dao or the 4mm SR one? I think it's worth a shot, especially the 6mm in your case.
Kinda unrelated, I also wonder if you've put more time on hybrid pads for CS. At first I thought it was quite fast and found myself being more inconsistent in some situations, but I decided to keep using it and after a while my aim became so much better to what it used to be on mudpads. Something along the lines of the AC2 or AC+ in terms of speed

Amazing video. If im correct Freefall release a V2 version with base improvement (idk what) and better stiching (idk how because mine was incredible). Btw is my main and is fantastic i buy it just for "fun" because i wanted to try the Energon Pro and the ship cost with 2 pad was better... but sincerely for Apex + others game the consistency is astonishing and another important thing sweat resistence is licterally top notch so...

The saturn mousepad is just EPIC, 10/10, I am super picky and getting a decent mousepad for me is problematic, because my hand is super sweaty and I just destroy mouse pads in a matter of weeks, not months, they get grimey, dirty and don't work too well. I gave Zowie GTF-X a try, and it was very durable due to its semi-plastic material, but the stopping power was just not there. LGG Saturn seemed like a standard cloth pad, but for some reason it's just super consistent and durable in my experience!
Zowie really needs to work on the stitching (i think thats what it is) I love my GSR2 but it started fraying fairly quick
The Saturn pro is awesome. I think I like the Freefall Base a bit more. And the 4114 is an awesome pad.
My favorite of the year so far though has been Fnatic Jet Pro.
But I haven't got my hands on a Fantech Strikepad yet.
If it was glass, the Razer Atlas is my favorite.
The cerapad kin is awesome too. But very sticky if you sweat. (Use a sleeve)
Also I heard that Ninjutso pads are pretty dang good this year?

Can anyone tell me about Gsr 2 and Gs r se Gris? which one is better for tac fps, or are they almost the same? im more on the low sens Spectrum and would like to know. i just recently bought the artisan zero which is really good, but i feel its a bit too fast for Valorant or Cs2 so im considering Zowie
Both can work for tac fps afaik. But the gsr-se is a balanced all-rounder pad like the saturn or zero, and the gsr2 is a slower pad with higher static friction. So I’d say GSR2.
Not sure if anyone will respond :) But if anyone does know a bit about mouses, i have done quite a bit of research and came down between the WLmouse Beast X and the Lamzu Maya. Both have small issues, and a bunch of great features, so im wondering if i can get any help making up my mind? I have spent almost a week, but really cant make up my mind... (i intend to use 4k polling and the prices are within 10 usd of each other where i live)
Lamzu's QC is hit or miss lately, can't go wrong with the BeastX
I have a good table. Something similar like yours. The table is very clean, smooth. Is there any reason to get a mousepad still?
Yes. The skates WILL ruin your table it's gonna get really smooth, not in a good wa, a lot of scratch marks and it's gonna look horrible. speaking from experience. My desk also had this weird abrasive coating that felt weird, even tho the surface was very fast. Mousepads provide control if you like it, there's also fast pads, different surfaces, different quality, etc
The rizz pad is my new main it's amazing imo
I use Freefall it pretty decent but after I wash it I can't control anymore it feel very fast is this normal😂
3:15 got a simmilar problem with my AC+: i have this thing with my tiger ice skates on my ul2 where no matter what mousepad i use (although the aqua control + seemed to be the least affected), theres always this little bit of stickiness, causing me to micro overcorrect back and forth when doing tiny readjustments. for me its always hard to tell if the issue is the skates or the pad. now i get that there will always be a little bit of initial friction, though its still frustrating not being able to be consistent because of it.
i know what youre on about and glass skates fixed that sticking issue for me.
Glass skates or a glass pad. Or a low initial pad like the original Artisan Raiden
i was thinking about glass skates, but heard them degrading quick over time, making them slow down and being generally inconsistent. is that true?
@tihowiel7701 I think the superglide V2 are meant to fix this issue. I had issues with glass skates and stopped using them. After a little time they just turn to mud, for me. Fantastic on the first week or so using them and absolutely love them. If they didn't degrade, I would 100% use over ptfe.

Not a huge one tbh. Xsoft is comfier and more plush, feels a slight bit more controlled

The GS-R 2 is my GOAT. I've bought around 40 pads looking for the right one and this one just has my perfect glide that I've been looking for. I'm retiring from trying new pads and just going to be buying one of these every year to escape the madness once and for all.
Have you tried the saturn pro ? And if so how do you compare it to GS-R 2?

finally tested, the Vaxee PA is much slower but thats not to say the Freefall doesn't have good control its very controlled. I play the best with the Freefall.
cant decide between gsr2 and saturn pro only for valorant. Currently at 2yo gp4 and imo it has not enought stoping power for me. and im kinda low/mid sens guy - 0.25-0.33 800 dpi

Have odin eclipse, saturn pro xsoft, and emc. I prefer emc, more texture and control (slower). Haven't tried gsr 2 though.

Hayate Otsu Xsoft has been insane for me, just got another in red this time. Having used control pads for over a decade, I was shocked how easily I was able to adjust to it. It's fast but it has so much control where you need it. If I had to recommend a control pad, it would definitely be the PA black. I still use it from time to time. Excellent price as well now if only Vaxee would add stitched edges!

Best and most underrated pad, I hope they blow up
so many people really overate the lgg saturn pro imo, I've had 3 and all have had stitching issues where it starts to unravel or arrives with poor and bumpy stitching that catches on your arm. The glide properties are also poor compared to an artisan zero, don't be fooled by the hype guys, notice that lgg are sponsoring a lot of youtubers whereas with artisan the quality speaks for itself. Not a bad pad but in an s tier list it is towards the bottom for me, zowie gsr for example is cheaper and more reliable

I've always used the g sr and I've never been able to stop using it, even though I've tested several more expensive mousepads, the funny thing is that now with the g sr 2 everyone puts it as top tier and the old g sr as bad, the only difference being the issue of humidity, otherwise the pad is exactly the same in everything, it's just not affected by humidity like before. i have both here, and honestly I dont see any diference in practice
@@lucassalles3806 well said. the humidity resistance of the 2.0 is the main reason I switched back to a zowie pad after my old one becoming more inconsistent in humidity
