IIMC is a DEAD institute. I'm a Digital Media student from the New Delhi campus' 2023 batch. The Digital Media course's curriculum was overly ambitious, and in the course of nine months, we learned nothing that could not be learned for free on our own. The placement procedure is also a huge scam because several firms are providing packages as low as 2.5 LPA, contrary to the assertion made during our orientation at IIMC that the placement cell won't consider companies offering yearly packages below 4 lakh. The presence of so many right-wing nincompoops on campus contributes greatly to the noxious atmosphere there. Furthermore, due to the outdated nature of their knowledge, the guest faculties are likewise useless. People take pleasure in being an IIMC student, which, after wasting nine months of my valuable resources here, strikes me as being quite foolish. So, meri baat maano toh yahan admission lene se aacha Udemy pe 500 500 ke 10 courses hi karlo.
If this is true, then it's quite worrying.... Cuz right now the admission process for round 1 is on... Now its really difficult to decide whether to go for it or not... I wish to pursue ADPR any suggestions from your side. Cuz I will be giving one year to this institute plus the course fee is too high for a middle class person to afford.

@@Creative_Corebut i think digital media is the future of mass communication and if some one didn't get ADPR(if someone wants to go for advertising/marketing/public relations/corporate communication/marketing) then they can go for Digital media. Because it also has technical skills along with the basic theoretical aspects of journalism and mass communication

Sir, I want to hone my writing skills.Hence, i need exposure and bit of guidance but I'm unable to pursue regular journalism course, so pls suggest me good substitution either in terms of online programmes / degree or short offline course 3-6 months which provide me desired exposure for honing my craft.
