After finding out it was her cousin, It gives me chills hearing the man say her cousin was on the hoverboard with her while she was riding the bike.
I think that comment helped cops zero in on him. It's sick.
His dad was convicted of child molesting. In court its called 1st degree sexual assault.

So many people in my neighborhood have one even though it has always been a low crime place. I think A LOT of crimes have been prevented because of it.

Prayers for the family
This is extremely heart breaking. My soul hurts for her parents and all those who kids disappear or are killed in such a horrible way. We need to put a stop to it, and we need the death penalty and life in prison and no bond. It needs stopped. We need to go back to protecting our kids by laws and consequences so severe they will be afraid to do it. If they do no mercy. They showed none for the kids they hurt.
A child killed her… does he get the same treatment as a adult?
Unfortunately we can't stop other people, children /teens or adults doing evil acts upon others, they don't think about consequences only satisfying their own desires. So sorry that Lilly had to go through that pain by someone she loved and trusted, and for her family.

What happened to the killers past to make that boy do this to her? Messed his head up and now he took a life. Now two young souls are lost. This is so sad! My son is 14 years old and would never in a million years think of hurting anyone much less a 10 year old little girl. May God lead her soul to her beautiful golden castle in heaven where her soul can be at peace 🙏❤

the neighbor said they saw Lily and her male cousin on a hoverboard and rollerblades playing together earlier that day. I wonder if that is the same cousin that committed the crime?

What a terrible thing. Her cousin, her killer, made it look like they were just having a good time, when really he was planning to kill her. And his neighbors saw it and thought nothing was wrong.
Another very sad thing, the Machnik neighbors said ''He could be in Florida right now, he could be a block away.'' Her killer was on the same street as them. How heartbreaking and terrifying.

This hurts alot. I have 4 daighters 6-12 yrs and this is every parents nightmare. Rip. I will never let my children be outside by theirselves! Monsters everywhere! My prayers and condolences to the family.

My neighborhood is pretty crime free. I have lots of neighbors with kids. One set only lets the kids (boy is around 9, girl 7) play in front of the house or backyard and they are usually supervising. Single mom neighbor will only let daughter (11) and friends play in front of house. She can't go to friend's house across street without permission and mom over there needs to be home if she does. Single dad neighbor lets his son (11) ride all over the place even at 10 PM at night. The kid does not have a light on his bike or anything. I have never seen his dad supervise him. Ever. And they have lived there since the boy was 6. Another single dad has 2 girls on weekends, 13 and 11. He is always playing games with them outside or at least watching them as he sits outside. He is a gadget guy who is on his phone a lot when he is outside and without his girls. I have never seen him on the phone when he is with his girls.
Thank you for being a good parent. I was never lucky enough to have children. 😔

If the search warrant was for the Aunts then the suspect was her cousin.

Come on parents I know we grew up when we were able to go outside and play all day, we had neighborhood watch, kids laughters and voices of joy, and safe environment. However, we’re in the last days all the signs are here things will never go back the way we use to know it we live amongst demons, Antichrist, devils children, and criminals. So, please be mindful that our children are our future it’s our duty to be vigilant, support other parents by keeping an eye 👁 out on their children, and more Christ like.

This is another heart breaking case for two families. There needs to be classes for all children on how to properly de-escalate an atempted sexual or physical asualt. Firm but calm, not threatening, not accusing, but appealing to conscience and reason. "Please stop, I don't like that. I don't want you to be in trouble. We can be friends. I said, please STOP! I have to go NOW!" And classes for ALL boys about personal bounderies and thoughts and feelings that lead up to bad behavior, and our power to stop ourselves.
This may work but then there are kids with serious psychological problems that are just going to attack.

Yes, but he was saying earlier in that day he saw her out on rollerblades - I was at a brewery tour that day and ironically I saw her as well rollerblading. So eerie.
