I have never lived in a trailer or mobile home...but l have also never had 2 bathrooms, so much storage, living space, or beautiful high-end finishes in ANY apartment or place l have lived in-- even now at 60! Lovely!! 👍🌈🇨🇦☘️
I can’t believe how large all the rooms seem like! Even the smallest guest room is more spacious than most I’ve seen in a single wide. The colors are not my style at all but I’m sure you can pick your own colors! Great video!!!
We boight a 1980's trailer for $7000. It looks small on the outside but EVERYBODY is shocked when they come inside. Its the same size as this trailer ONLY difference one room is small which is my husbands media room/ guest room.
I'd have to upgrade to sheetrock, upgrade the shower to tile in the master, and upgrade the shelves in the closets, etc to the wooden ones. But, I really like this single wide. Truly a masterpiece!
My favorite channel for viewing mobile/manufactured/modular homes hands down. Your commentary has humor, you don't over talk or ramble through the videos. You show just the enough amount of features without going too fast or too slow with awkward pauses. I absolutely LOVE this home with the exception on the walls should be dry wall, the tub needs to be longer (I have long legs), needs a fireplace instead of entertainment table, color the beams white, and stainless steel appliances. But for a single wide, THIS is beautiful. I love single wides. ❤️
It would totally work for me. I’m single so one back bedroom turns into home office/computer room, the other in case I have guests, and I love the darker colors. The only thing I don’t like is the single basin sink in the kitchen. The extra cabinets and such are perfect because I can always use more places to stash stuff.
Both these comments bring back memories. My son is now grown planning to start a family so he will one day get to gray hair worrying. Teens are sneaky and that door would sure help but my son used to go out the windows. I went out the bathroom door that was attached to the porch 😂 For five year olds I had to put a lock that opened only with a key other wise he would escape out any door. Even if I just run to the bathroom. First we tried putting locks up high out of his reach. That didn't work. BTW he was three. It is amazing how fast the time goes.
There really isn't even much need for that door right there, I would rather the emergency exit be put in the Master suite, since the only non window way out is through the kitchen. Teenagers are going to get out no-matter what, younger kids I would see as more of a concern. I don't have kids, but remember being a teenager.
I have seen some mobile homes that are gorgeous, but this one isn't. All of the deep brown colors look dated. I should know, I grew up in a mobile home with gold shag carpet
Hi Chance. You've come a long way in taking us through these homes! Just some personal preferences: Always appreciate when you give the home dimensions and open cabinets and closets; we like flat, plain ceilings, microwave over the stove, cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling so no wasted space, walk-in pantry, a master closet that is NOT in the bathroom and so too close to all that moisture and no spa/soaker tub and lighter floors. Oh, and in the showers, the shower heads are too high for most. To each his own, just our particular likes. Thanks again for showing us what's out there. As for this home, it has some nice features but, as mentioned above, the master closet is in the bathroom and we can do without the spa/soaker tub. Kids can be bathed in the other bathroom in the one piece tub with surround. Most people who live in mobile homes keep an eye on that water bill and these spa/soaker tubs would take an awful lot of water to fill. It's space people could use for linen and towel storage, or a dressing table or even a bidet. The bedroom walls are a bit low end in comparison to some of the other features and the flooring is too dark for our taste. It is nice to know, though, that most of these homes can be changed to suit and appreciate when you mention that.
I have a single wide. Moved in December 2019. The walls are dry wall. Set up like a reg. house. Once you come in the front door, you don't have the feeling your in a mobile home. I just love it. I wasn't into mobile homes but it was my boyfriends brother, he passed away and we got this at a great deal. New hardwood floors, carpeting, new toilet, and painted thru out the home. It was well taken care of but needed some updates. 16X74
😲That is the price for an amazing home, so beautiful functional and room.. and way, way nicer and cost less than any apartment and it is yours not into someone else's pocket WOW... A+!
In many of these homes you can opt to get drywall instead of the wallboard, not all but is becoming more and more available. Drywall does cost a little more, but not that much.
@@gacdogs8282 Good point. It appears, perhaps because of the background of the builders in trailers and other movables, that wallboard is the default product used. But, as a selling point it is second rate, and makes a bad first impression. Always put your best product on display. The somewhat more expensive drywall is well worth being the default rather than the option. For those that wish the cheaper, it can always be made available.
Usually there's an option to upgrade to drywall. I personally don't mind it if it means I get it cheaper. But I've heard of doing drywall in the main areas and the paneling in the bedrooms to also cut down costs.
Always. Always. Always get tape and textured walls. Those strips down the wall are guaranteed to come loose. Also get the AC ducts in the ceilings! Those vents on the floor are guaranteed to be in places where you will need to put furniture!

The single wide has come a long way. When I was a kid I had a friend living in one of these and it did not look like this! The bedrooms were half the size along with everything else. The layout on this makes it seem so big. I don't even mind the dark colors!

All this for 10,000$ above average cost....👍👍👍 I agree with many, today homeowners would prefer a larger Walk in Shower with shower vents, and have Soaker tub as an option....💯
I absolutely love these colors, and was amazed at the size of actually both bedrooms and closets. I didn’t see any pantry, but I guess in the laundry room you could also store extra things in there. Keep them coming Chance because I really like to see them
It's a no for me Dawg. Reminded me of 1970s trailer park. The shelves on either side of the living room are just awkward and so is the kitchen layout. No real prep space. The washer dryer area nope. Glad to see the website.

If you come from NY or another big city, this single wide looks huge and far nicer than most places in my area. With a 62K starting price, one could retire very inexpensively and probably pick up one of these, customize it, set it up on land and furnish it for around 120-150 which is a steal. If you have cash to buy, it could be bargain living.. Comparatively, there are houses in my area in NYC that you would turn your nose up to that are 70 year old houses needing work and those go for around 800K on the block I rent on, a universe away from 62K starting price...
I'm not sure why everyone is commenting on how they don't like the home because of the coloring...you can change all of that, people! Lol. Overall it's a very beautiful single wide. There are a few things I would change, but that's the beauty of a mobile/manufactured home! Another great video! And bless you 😂
The people commenting on this clearly aren’t familiar with actually living in trailers. I’ve never seen one with actual, seamless drywall, the walls that are in this one are the majority of what you’ll get.

Replace the appliances with stainless steel and NO side by side fridge. The shower door looks cheap. The plastic shower wall and the color of the carpet has to go. To me, then it would be perfect!
Yeah, back doors should never be on the children's end. I'm looking for a modular with 2 master suites, plus a 1/2 bath, along with living room, kitchen/dining and laundry. Are there any modulars like that? I was intrigued by the one video of the duplex with the garages, but it wasn't quite right.
It looks almost like one of the Clayton homes I’ve seen. It’s beautiful. Love the ceiling beams. It’s just way too much house for me! Amazing the transformations since I lived in my early 1950s trailer when I was a kid! My suggestion to anyone buying a trailer is to invest in the best insulation and window packages. Better utility bills and a quieter house.!
I think they messed up on the washer/dryer placement; the dryer vent is on the same side as the spickets for the water and the dryer 220 outlet is on the opposite side, doesn't seem like they gave much thought on the washer at all. Doesn't seem right to me. Also, that "horseshoe" on the master bathroom wall looks like a toilet seat. : /
Great video Chance, I always enjoy the casual way you are and I like that you show a ball park figure on the pricing and to let you know you are the only one in the mobile home business I watch and the reason I watch too.. Another reason I may in the future be buying a mobile home because my house has a basement then upstairs bedrooms and it getting harder for me to navigate the stairs and looking for a home I could pay off quickly after selling my home Thanks again for your wonderful videos and love that you also do the single wides too....
LOVE THIS SINGLE WIDE ! We’re looking into building a 2 bedroom cabin on our place BUT after seeing THIS unit,we will mull over total costs. I personally love having a tub to soak in BUT WOULD IT be possible to have another closet build in the master bath where the big garden tub is at ? No need in having two tubs in a home when only one person takes actual baths. ?
I watch all the singlewides. I live in a really old mobile home in AZ. OK I love Tv built in!! Vaulted ceiling Whirlpool Appliances. Kitchen sink is great I love the cabinets and hanging clothes area in wash room!!. Bless you!! Chase. Ceiling fan in Master. Oh Area above tub is great and stand up shower!! Storage & shelves!!
Design of this is much more to my liking and much better kitchen and wall space and master bedroom wall space and bath better too love the ceiling beams
It’s got too much goin on with textures and patterns with the floor and the stone and the island and then the weird book shelves and... well I don’t like it lol
I've been around many, many mobiles because I used to install,i can say i love the layout of this home and the size of the rooms, especially the kitchen, dining and living rooms,BUT i have to agree with so many others about the wall coverings because seeing those seams where the boards meet reminds you that it is a mobile and looks a little tacky. Your presentation was great and theres alot to love about the home, the people complaining about the price probably dont realize what they're getting for the price,I dont believe you could get a site built home that big and that complete for that price! Anyway good job on this presentation, stay safe,GOD BLESS.
I dislike the home but didnt want to dislike your video! Lol! I know flooring, colors can change but I think it could have been designed much better. Worst feature is going past laundry area to get to a bedroom. Anyway, on to the next video of yours! 😁 ✌
I agree to with the floors I guess it's the same thing as you would see in these mobile homes....not a bad thing though...I just wished other mobile homes would show different colors of some different floor plans.... just my opinion
This is a beautiful home. I would change a few things, the major one would be the shower in the master bedroom. I would love it if they could incorporate one of the big beautiful walk-in showers with no doors, a rain shower faucet with the removable handheld faucet also. The shower that’s in there now makes it look cheap. Other things I’d change would be carpet throughout, drywall, more windows if possible & the kitchen sink (I love) I’d like to be a true drop in sink (not sure if I’m saying that right), so you can wipe crumbs right off the counter into the sink without having to go over the edge of the sink (hopefully that makes sense).
The whole house is dark, the beams make the ceiling seem like it is on top of you. There are way to many patterns and nothing ties together. I will keep looking
Wow, for a single wide it seems pretty spacious. You mentioned you could option out the carpet so I hope there would be a drywall option also. This is a great home for smaller families or older adults downsizing.
The layout is decent, but I prefer a front entry as opposed to a side entry because I like the built in porches. I would also choose drywall over vinyl paneling.
I can assure you that it is 3/8 drywall panels. They hang them vertical and trim the seams because taping and mudding the seems will usually crack during transport and settling of the house.
God bless you for the sneezes. I really liked this video. I am looking to buy a single wide. I'm not too afraid of finding one. Right now it's finding a place to put one!
Usually there's an option to upgrade to drywall. I personally don't mind it if it means I get it cheaper. But I've heard of doing drywall in the main areas and the paneling in the bedrooms to also cut down costs.
you can order gas if you would prefer it. You can change countertops, appliances, floor, walls, exterior siding, pretty much everything. There are several choices under that model for that same price. Gas furnace, water heater and stove, however is a small upcharge over electric. Thought you may want the info. It is a beautiful home though isn't it?
I do not care for this home at all. Here are my reasons: wainscoting on the walls, walls are finished (sort of) with four foot panels with vertical strips covering the joining seams, there is no adjustable shelves in the kitchen cabinets, it looks like wall to wall carpeting throughout minus the kitchen (the flooring is never addressed actually). In short this looks like a throwback to the 1970's and not in a good way. Windows: thermopane? Wall construction-never addressed. Insulation: never discussed. Many of the finishes look tacky. Sorry, but this is a fail in my book.
Wainscoating is coming back into style, vertical trim on the drywall prevents the need to skim coat taped joints that usually crack during transport. Almost all new homes built today use 2x6 framing with r19 insulation. Just saying
@@chadwrobel7656 Wainscotting, yes. The vertical strips are there because they're prefab panels. Yuck! I prefer drywall professionally done and painted. Just saying. 😀
I love these homes, especially the double wides. But looking at this video tells me all I need is a single wide. But if I had the money, I have to go with the double. Want vs need.
"Sneezes" God Bless you! Great video! House just needs tape and textured walls, no carpet, and none of that "brown" stuff on the walls 😉

Much more expensive too
I don't like the floors either, too busy looking and looks like barn wood. It seems like this is the trend right now in flooring, but not for me.
It is drywall. They trim the seems to prevent cracking during transport.
exactly what I said! having lived in one with that kind of dark paneling it's the worst! It's so dark in there.
Then repaint it! Everyone wants gray right now tho.

Doesn't seem right to me. Also, that "horseshoe" on the master bathroom wall looks like a toilet seat. : /
My thought exactly the dryer duck will be sticking out too much blocking half the hallway
It’s too dark for me. I just don’t like the dark wood and I always prefer drywall.
Yes and Yes!
I keep coming back to this I really dig it
The floors, backsplash and stone accents don't harmonize well at all.
Someone with no design sense picked those. 🤣
Agree
@@brianmlee7861 doesn't some guy in the company have a wife with good taste who can make things harmonize?
Barbara Brooks Trying too hard, but getting a little better.
Secretariat would have been 50, yesterday, 3/30/70! The greatest horse/athlete that ever lived, and I’m not even into horses.
Love love love this house, except for the colors on walls and floor!
Design of this is much more to my liking and much better kitchen and wall space and master bedroom wall space and bath better too love the ceiling beams
It’s got too much goin on with textures and patterns with the floor and the stone and the island and then the weird book shelves and... well I don’t like it lol
Same. And it looks like 90% in this house is brown(from light to dark)...way too much.
Jamalala I like it! I take this over anything at this point
It *is* a little busy, lol! But I like it!
Wow!! What a beautiful home!! Love all the accent walls! All that wood is Amazing 🙌
This would make a nice starter home. I always like the extra space around the tub. I really like the enterior decor. I like it🌹🌹🌹🌹
I've been around many, many mobiles because I used to install,i can say i love the layout of this home and the size of the rooms, especially the kitchen, dining and living rooms,BUT i have to agree with so many others about the wall coverings because seeing those seams where the boards meet reminds you that it is a mobile and looks a little tacky.
I agree with you totally
You did a great job on the show ingof this house and you know how to do it and I will watch your videos again 😃😃
I see the bathroom comes with an extra toilet seat mounted to the wall by the tub.
That's for the 500 lb woman that looked like the 95 lb goddess at the bar last night that woke up in the bed the next morning.
I said the same thing. lol
I think it's a beautiful single wide. No complaints here. 👍. Also the triple sneeze was well done.
I like this house but I’m getting tired of seeing that same floor in every house, doesn’t matter who builds it.
Yes finally someone said it! I seen them in apt rentals too 🙄
I agree to with the floors I guess it's the same thing as you would see in these mobile homes....not a bad thing though...I just wished other mobile homes would show different colors of some different floor plans.... just my opinion
Sorry, just don’t care for this one. The seams on the walls really makes it look cheap.
I like the mobile homes you show
The whole house is dark, the beams make the ceiling seem like it is on top of you. There are way to many patterns and nothing ties together. I will keep looking
Wow, for a single wide it seems pretty spacious. You mentioned you could option out the carpet so I hope there would be a drywall option also. This is a great home for smaller families or older adults downsizing.
You sound so much like Joel Osteen. Your voice is very relaxing to listen to..lol. love the videos! 👍
The layout is decent, but I prefer a front entry as opposed to a side entry because I like the built in porches. I would also choose drywall over vinyl paneling.
Is it possible to upgrade to drywall instead of the paneling in something like this?
Usually there's an option to upgrade to drywall. I've heard of doing drywall in the main areas and the paneling in the bedrooms to cut down costs.
It is drywall.
@@chadwrobel7656 it has those trim pieces that usually cover up the paneling seams, so it doesn't look like drywall to me
I can assure you that it is 3/8 drywall panels. They hang them vertical and trim the seams because taping and mudding the seems will usually crack during transport and settling of the house.
@@chadwrobel7656 ok. But all the other ones I've seen on here that have drywall, don't have those trim pieces.
This is my favorite so far.
It's really nice and would look much bigger with lighter cabinets and walls. Too much brown's for a single wife
God bless you for the sneezes. I really liked this video. I am looking to buy a single wide. I'm not too afraid of finding one. Right now it's finding a place to put one!
Can’t stand those seamed walls. Ugh those should be illegal to put in any home. And bless you btw 😂
It just make it look cheap.
Terry Murphy lol kind of the point. How many homes with textured walls do you know you can buy brand new for 50k?
Matt Murphy I’ve seen several with Sheetrock walls that run around the same price. Just depends on the builder.
I fully agree, if they want to make it not seem like a trailer, stop using old trailer materials.
Usually there's an option to upgrade to drywall. I personally don't mind it if it means I get it cheaper. But I've heard of doing drywall in the main areas and the paneling in the bedrooms to also cut down costs.
I love that living room and I know I'm gon love the kitchen
This is a beautiful single wide the only thing is I would rather have a gas stove
you can order gas if you would prefer it. You can change countertops, appliances, floor, walls, exterior siding, pretty much everything. There are several choices under that model for that same price. Gas furnace, water heater and stove, however is a small upcharge over electric. Thought you may want the info. It is a beautiful home though isn't it?
It’s pretty nice home. I love the kitchen and how it has a dining area.
I love everything about this single wide except showerdoors
Love the home! But thoseeee couchesss man. Those couches are not it
I actually like the color of this one outside more than most other ones.
The floor is so uglee, it is hard to concentrate on the house, way too busy, makes house feel yukky...sorry
I love these homes, especially the double wides. But looking at this video tells me all I need is a single wide. But if I had the money, I have to go with the double. Want vs need.
“You know whut” lol I’m from the south too 😆
Love this home. Colors are beautiful.
