As you were talking about your hair, it reminded me that Dan has mentioned more than once, that his hair was pretty much as curly as yours, and it still would be, if he didn't go and get it treated (monthly, I think he's said). He also mentioned that if he DIDN'T, he'd have the thickest, wildest "afro" that anyone ever had. He, too, was wanting to have the hair that he has NOW, so that he could do exactly what you described, and what you will continue to see him do so much. 😀

Dan really embodies and brings to life the epic warrior-Viking vibe on this song and it is powerful! Love how he did the intro a capella, then adding the deep droning into the musical build!!!! It is so good!!! I love the electric guitar’s entrance…it gets your attention and gets you ready to ride right into the song. Listening to Dan’s music isn’t just hearing random notes and rhythms….it takes you right inside the heart of the lyrics and gives you an experience that your soul connects with. From there, Dan brings sheer thrill and inspiration beyond what words can describe. The Vasc has raised the bar when it comes to making music, and he is bringing it up high enough to where it is supposed to be…the place where your ears and heart can experience the meaning of ecstatic bliss. I love your reactions to Dan! He definitely embodies the songs that he sings. This is a good example of his arranging wizardry, taking what is essentially a fragment of a traditional folk shanty and doing four or five different things to it, in several different registers of Dan’s fabulous voice. BTW, he’s often his own choir, and frequently shows the different parts in these little boxes of Dans. Two good examples of this production technique are Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen) and the famous Hallelujah Chorus (from Handel’s oratorio Messiah, 1741). Not only does he do all the singing in all the parts, but he also directs, records, edits, and usually mixes the audio. There are lots of other examples too. - a lovely, non- metal one is Ed Sheeran’s I See Fire. Thanks so much. Subbed, looking forward to the next one!

I actually find myself singing this song quite often, but obviously not as well as Dan does. Lol. Dan is his own choir on more than a few of his covers. If you want to see him as the entire choir, check out his Handel's Messiah Hallelujah Chorus (One Man Choir). All 4 vocal sections are performed by Dan. Only 24 "Dans" are shown, but there were more & it took an unbelievable amount of time & effort for him to do it. Thanks for the reaction.

I love the way Dan took a short and simple song that’s usually sung acapella and did Dan things with it, singing it like seven ways or whatever, making it super interesting and fun to watch as well! Epic.🏆

I know you are new and wanted to shhare with you that Dan produces allnof his videos in his basement and always has. He does all of the singing unless he features another artist with him. He also does all of the musical arrangements. He started from nothing and truly is a self-made man.Another great and interesting reaction. 🙂👍
