So sorry for your loss. Seven years ago Dan covered Josh Groban's 'You Are Loved (Don't Give Up)'. He talks in Portuguese with English subtitles about suicide. Five years ago he covered 'Heaven Can Wait.' Afterwards he talks about how he overcame depression and suicidal thoughts. You're probably not ready to listen to them but it shows what a caring person Dan is.
It's nice that you're back on board and making Satur Dan Day brighter for us.
You don't see Dan sweating that often. But here he rocked the song with the great Victor.
It won't be my favorite song, but it's just a matter of taste.

I'm so sorry for your loss - heartbreaking. Way too many young people are making that decision before they've even had a chance to really LIVE! Yesterday, my cousin's husband died of a brain tumor - 50 years old - so darn sad. Anyway, I'm so glad you decided to react to this song of Dan's because it truly made me focus on something fun and exciting. I normally don't get to watch you live on Saturday because I am spending time with my Mom who is in a memory care unit. But today I couldn't resist and watched a little on my phone while with her. I call Victor “The Guitar Genius “! On another note, I’m so sorry for your loss! How truly heartbreaking. I have bipolar disorder and have been since age 11, but didn’t get help until I was 22! My parents didn’t want me to have the stigma of being labeled as mentally ill, so I had a horrible life as a child and young adult, quite frankly, and didn’t even want to be alive until I was 33, because it took that long to get the best care. I think that we need to be able to discuss this, because once it’s understood that it is a chemical disorder of the body (in my case, the brain) that it’s just a chemical disorder, as diabetes is a chemical disorder, just from the body, too, that we can learn to respect everyone with mental illnesses. Even Dan Vasc has dealt with depression, so it can happen to anyone. I have a great deal of respect for Dan for sharing his history with depression. I also think that Dan is absolutely amazing in his musical gifts! He sings many songs that I loved in the 80’s, but he makes them his own and better than the originals! Dan is my favorite new artist, and I am inspired by him. I agree that mental illness of whatever kind should be talked about, because nobody should suffer alone. Suicide is so devastating to the friends, family, and acquaintances! I’m truly sorry for your loss. Dan’s music has helped me through so much in my life, and if I ever had the opportunity, I would thank him. He is an inspiration, and a truly caring, hilariously funny, and incredibly talented man. I have a great deal of respect for him and you! I love your reviews of Dan’s music, because you are my favorite reactor since you love Dan’s music as much as I do, and you are also an inspiration to me for your sharing of your battle with depression. I would hope that anyone who feels so desperately suicidal, that I could help them. There’s so many hurting people that need love, a kind word, a friend, a confidential ear, and a hug. That’s why I share my story, because somebody needs to know that there is joy on the other side! If my story helps just one person, then my journey will not have been in vain. Life is beautiful, perhaps not always, but it will be if everyone can love their fellow mankind. Sorry this is so long, but I just needed to pay respect, and rock on! ❤️
