I’m a 35 year old black stay at home mom and I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant. I live in Georgia and I don’t like the outdoors and I’d never go camping. I say all of that to say I have like nothing in common with Mav (except maybe cooking 😂) but I loooove watching his videos. I literally can watch his videos for hours at a time 🤣😭❤️

I swear to God, Mav can entertain literally any and every single demographic on CZcams. It’s obvious that He’s such a well raised young man, with intentions on doing anything else but being himself. That makes it so easy to watch him. Not to mention, his videos are so easy to watch and get stuck

It was only a bit over an hour, but my oldest friend (45 years) drive with me to my father's memorial service day before yesterday. I travel for work, used to driving alone. On that occasion it was really nice to have a good friend with me.

I know for folks who live in countries that snow especially from North America this may seem like a relatable experience but I have to say as someone that has lived in the Caribbean their whole lives this is such a novelty. No matter which road trip you're on or whichever frozen lake you choose to fish its so satisfying to watch. During the snow season it seems much more exiting. Just be careful on those snowy roads please.
Winter might look exiting from the outside but when its -20 and your car wont start, it starts not to be fun. but the snowmobiling and winter activiys make up for it sometimes.
Looks cool but always isn’t the best when you walk to your bus stop at -5 degrees having your wet hair freeze

I was pregnant in December and lost my baby. I spent about 2 weeks straight on bed rest and then an extra 2 weeks after loosing the baby on bed rest due to COVID and I binge watched your videos. I love your videos, I do not like camping but you make it look so beautiful and peaceful I hope I get to experience it myself. I’m currently 3 months pregnant and spent all day watching your newest videos and rewatched some old ones due to having a rough morning sickness filled day and night. ❤️

Non Electric Woodstove Fan...have been online shopping for either a single or duo...have seen a plethora of simple DIY projects attaching one of these fans on top of Mr. Heaters with happy campers. The fans help keep the heat from going immediately upward and escape through ceilings(roofs) and help redirect it more straight in a room(or tent). They also have energy savings. Originally designed for Woodstoves but people use with gas stoves(cast iron needed); the slight problem with these non electric Woodstove fans is on light occasions after two to three years of use, the fans quit working yet it is a $15 motor replacement and a relatively simple DIY fix. With the Mr. Buddy heater users, those reviewers very happy with their results. Better warmth and comfort combined with noticable savings in their choice of fuel.

I've been livin' my fishin' dreams thru u Mav. I love to fish off our jetty for bottom fish. I live on the southern oregon coast. And my hubby and I haven't been able too for the past year. 😢 my hubby has had to have 5 major eye surgeries in the past 8 months. With 2 being within a week, 2 weeks ago. Has a bad torn retina in his right eye. So it's not safe for him to climb on those large jetty boulders. And we are hoping these last 2 surgeries will give him some vision back in that eye. 2 years ago he had a torn retina in his left eye. But 2 surgeries fixed that, thank God. But this right eye is being a major pain in the rumpus! But as soon as he can see some out of that eye. WATCH OUT BOTTOM FISH! LOVE THE M&M comedy jam! (Mav & Murray). I'm 62 and I love watching all your adventures! Keep um coming! Fish on!
Hope your hubby’s eye is able to heal up sooner rather than later and you can get back out there! I’m not as into fishing but definitely always up for a good hike. I’m actually looking to check out Oregon this summer. Being from there do you have any like absolutely must do’s while I’m there (ps my golden retriever travels with me so it must be dog friendly) thanks for any tips in advance!

My god, the first minute of this video couldn't illustrate the hardships of a Minnesota winter any better. Opening the driver side door to a flurry of snow piling on the front seat. Cold temps deflating your tires prompting a low tire warning. But I wouldn't trade it for anything!
I'm a retired black female who thinks Mav has a heart of gold. I used to help feed the homeless and taught my children how important it is to help those less fortunate. So therefore Mav you're the man.

You should get a bigger fuel tank on Steve and mount a small rack for propane tanks and take that winter camping . Steve has more room and you can stand up . I do love your videos !

Mav, I’m country boy from Alberta Canada. I too have been all sorts of camping. But lately from watching your channel. I have started truck camping. I used to suv camp but truck camping is where it’s at. I love your set up. And the way you built your bed, rack, and rod carrier. I will be using a solar shower with shrader valve. All your gear in the drawers is so handy and the way to go. I’m avid truck camper. No noob. You should come check out the dinosaurs and I’ll give you a grand tour some time. I wish that you had talked more about the gas station where you can’t pay at the pumps, why, how, etc. I didn’t know that they still existed. Another great video… never change, you are so real and amazing.
They are pretty rare and usually in more "remote" places. At least in my experience. You see this style of pump all the time for Kerosene though.
In Oregon you can’t pump your own gas. They have a gas attendant You just go inside and he will pump it for you

Hey Mav, not sure if you’ll see this but your videos are really good man. I remember when I first found the channel I was really liking the cooking out of the back of the truck videos in the parking lot of the business you were imitating. Dude your videos are really inspiring and your such a free spirit. I know videos can show only a certain side of you that you want shown which is understandable but you seem like the kinda person that wakes up with something in mind and you just go and do it. Totally agree, his mindset and attitude just seem to be so genuine. Been following along his channel for about two years and definitely found him first from his cooking. Just kept following along from there and love the real feel he brings to his videos . He actually inspired me to finally start chasing my own travel dreams and I left my job last October to move into my car with my golden retriever. We’ve been zipping around the country since then checking out all the cool things and life has been good. So thanks Mav for part of the inspiration to take the leap to do what I’m doing

Love the videos. Was roommates with some guys from the Plymouth area. I spend a lot of time hunting/fishing around WI and love your videos. I finally got my own truck camper setup that I plan to use this summer!
Definitely get out there and do some camping this summer! What kind of setup you got going on? I built out my truck last year with a cap on the back, drawer system similar to Mav’s and then I threw a full queen mattress in there. Also put some solar on the roof but think I might need another panel. I’m just always interested as to how people build out their trucks because some people are like mad creative

I know it seems odd to say you should crack a window to release the condensation from the two of you and the buddy heater. I've used buddy heaters in some seriously cold Alaskan situations and ventilation is key. Prevents several different types of lung irritants and keeps your sack from molding. So far all off buddy heaters carbon monoxide tests have proven to not be an issue but having a CO detector is great 👍
