Hello!! I have a question regarding my braces, I'm 18 years old girl ... I went to a dentist in my city ,I have a mild underbite problem.....the dentist suggests to bring my upper jaw equal to lower jaw through braces in Max 2-3 years ...is that possible?? Cuz I have only seen videos of bringing lower jaw to normal position... please let me know is the dentist's suggestion good or not ?? Need help of you please

If you wear your retainers as directed - your teeth should stay correct.
@@PremierOrthodontics you're right Doc, it's now 4 weeks on retainers and I was told to wear them 24/7 for 6 months.. But all my teeth are still in same position!

Can you give me the criteria which dentist should know and when do i know that the teeth will not move again. Is “correct canine and correct molar relationship” what we depend on when deciding the orthodontic treatment doesn’t need a retainer or are there other factor that determine the stability of teeth
Unfortunately teeth are rarely stable for life. Even with the correct canine and molar relationship you will still need to wear a retainer to maintain your orthodontic correction.
@@PremierOrthodontics does this mean we need retainers for after almost every treatment ? There are no cases that don’t need? (If there are any cases that don’t need retainers then what are they???)
There are lot of factors such as your lips pressure chewing habit and many more
Btw I also have class 1 molar and I think u will have some minor changes with retainers fitted in

U should have good genetics or if u super rich u can go for veneers

Dr. what do you prefer in extraction cases.. roth or mbt presicription.. and why?
I have used both MBT and Roth in the past but don't find a big difference one vs. the other in final outcomes. They all work relatively well, but you may need to make some detailing adjustments at the end of treatment depending on the prescription and the shape of your patients' teeth.
Doc i had severe protrusion on top and bottom i had 4 teeth extracted .My extraction gap are almost closed The problem is my teeth look straight but my mouth still look protrusive what should i do??😭
Ask your doctor, but they may be able to do some IPR (interproximal reduction) to make some more space and retract the teeth a bit more.

@@hunkypunky161 they will say if retainers not use then teeths move na is it happen to you.., and before braces your mouth looks protrusive or not? I'm also not wearing braces because I'm hoping to go back my teeths as before braces 😐
