I'm very depressed 😔 my career as a professional working touring drummer ended bc of a neck injury. I switched to Rockin the frontman position aaannndddd woke up one day with my throat dry and hurting, like stinging. Started talking and I have no voice. It's gone. Raspy, cuts in and out, very quiet.
Get it scoped... my vocal cords are kinda destroyed. They no longer close.
It's too late to learn guitar or bass. I don't know what to do with my life now. I didn't realize how much i let it define me. I was a musician. Now I coach new drone pilots. But i want my life back. I feel so damn lost. The only place I honestly felt real, and comfortable was on a stage. 😑

Have you learned the solo from "when all but force has failed" by Avatar ? I'd be willing to take a look at it and you are the one I go to to learn their songs... :)
