My man knows how not to get a copyright strike! 😂 Great video, as always
fr 💀
I thought you're allowed as long as you say who it is?
@@JayLee-od8obNope
@@JayLee-od8obnot really, it's really complicated, but youtube generally airs on the side of caution removing and demonetizing videos upon request and sometimes based on algorithms made to recognize songs. the appeal process can be very hard and is not guaranteed, even if you are in your rights to use the material in the way you are using, so a lot of creators just try to make away with the headache by not using the songs altogether
4:20 Goddamn, Demolition Hammer has been thrashing since before electric guitars were even invented!
A lot happened in 1896: Chausson's Poème, Neilsen's Symphony No. 1, Demolition Hammer. What a year
*_Back To The Future!_*
I love your playing and how you put your own spin on the classic riffs. Long live thrash, the most metal it gets 🤘🔥
He has to because of copyright
Literally the best music CZcamsr on this platform keep up the great work🫡
Well played ! I really like the variation of the Jump In The Fire riff at 2:35.
Also, the riff at 7:58 sounds like a mix of Death From Within and Lying in State.
Did you recognize the other 'Tallica riffs and solos? Amazing
@@equaleyez I think : 1:41 is Seek and Destroy, 3:54 is the chorus of Master of Puppets, 4:13 sounds like Leper Messiah but faster and 5:42 is Sad But True. I must have forgotten a few riffs.
7:58 also sound like Dialectic Chaos too.
@@ylmzko 2:06 reminds me of Head Crusher
@@Super_Link29 3:13 the Ride The Lightning solo
If you listen to Meshuggah's early stuff (early 90's I think?), you could even consider a lot of that to be thrash. Or at least HEAVILY influenced by 80's thrash. Very different from what they slowly evolved into over the decades, and they too are an extremely influential band.
Yeah none is basically ajfa except tuned lower, harsher vocals, and sick bass tone
I love their first demo (Metallica -like thrash) and first album that is more technical thrash/death.
5:13 amazing clean, god damn awesome riff
If you know, could you tell the name of the song, pleeease?? It seems sooo familiar but I cannot recognise that!
Two days ago, the original former of V8 and Hermetica, Ricardo Iorio, sadly passed away at the age of 61. Possibly the most influential artist of the metal scene in Argentina. Loved that you mentioned them on the late 80s.
Great video as always❤
guacho forro
One of my favorite aspects of these videos is how you make sure to list off a bunch of bands for newcomers to check out. It definitely helped me when I got into metal back in high school and wow I just realized how long I've been watching this channel for.
Thank you for this video!!
It is a lecture on how it all begun.
Cheers!
Thanks for the masterpiece of a video. Easily one of my favorite genres of metal. Can't wait for another video
You are the reason I listen to metal I came across one of your videos of iconic metal riffs and it opened my eyes thank you
Amazing job, Andrea! Entertaining, badass and quite educational. Awesome playing as well! 👍
Been waiting for this video! \m/
Thank you very much! This is really a quality product!
Amazing as always. I could pinpoint a lot of the original riffs!!
i’m so happy that you inserted evildead here. listening to annihilation of civilization album for years and this is still my favorite classic thrash album🤘🏻
Incredible. Thank you!
Great job buddy amazing!
I can't be the only one who sits on edge hoping my fav bands get the shoutouts (they did). Always love the content, my dude!
You forgot Queen's Stone Cold Crazy.
I'm immensely pleased Artillery's By Inheritance made the list for era releases, theirs was the biggest one I noticed wasn't in the "bands formed" mentions. I stumbled upon it a few years back via the mighty youtube algo, spent a few good long weeks reveling in how good it was and some of the songs from it are still in my mobile playlist. Bombfood and Don't Believe are such classics, the riffs are damn solid but the vocal delivery from Flemming Rønsdorf is what really sticks out to me. Not gonna bother guessing at what technical terms are best to describe it but there's a unique quality I just know isn't easy to find elsewhere, especially if you're sticking to thrash.
Thrash will always be my fav genere of metal, fantastic video and love the production!
Keep Thrashing My Friends!!
Fantastic video as always
AMAZING!!! I LOVE THIS GENRE!
This is the video I've been waiting soooo long for!!!!! And of course I'd recognize that madhouse riff ;)
Thanks for your video! ❤
Fantastic as always Andrea
Thanks for the Annihilator shoutout. Again, very important thrash band from here in Canada and Jeff Waters is a god
great video! thrash will always be my favorite :3
Love these history videos
Thank you for remembering Overkill. Many folks don't, and they deserve a lot of respect.
Great video!
loved your Death From Within rendition, it's one of my favourite Deth songs post 2000s
Always a pleasure. cool stuff, you make thrash relaxing ;)
Dude, you mentioned hermética, I'm in love with you.
Best archival metal channel ever, he is making documentaries
THRASH is the best metal! So diverse yet all tight as hell!
Gotta love the heavy riffs in contrast with the chorus clean tones!
Amazing playing and history lesson as usual!
i like to believe that the main influence was Stone Cold Crazy from Queen
Fantastico, bravissimo!!
Awesome!
Love the video 👍
A lot of creatvity and skill. Great Video.
Informative ❤❤❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘keep it up
😎🤘🤘🤘 Most excellent video!!
Very cool iterations of the famous riffs.
W. O. W.. I'm amazed, how come Bradda? Keep working 🤟🤟🤟
¡Ole! Buen detalle al incluir a los Angelus Apatrida \m/
I love watching a master at work 👌
Man, really love your mention of Sylosis. Such an underrated band.
You understood thrash, sick video🔥

Greetings from Brazil
Ottimo video per insegnare ai nati nel nuovo millennio quello che è il THRASH METAL
I never get sick of these
Excellent

SG IS BACK HELL YEAH
Good job excellent episode
Thanks you Andrea ♨️♨️♨️👍100%
Like for the brief but concise history and the fact of including Angelus Apatrida in the list of notable bands!
Круто !
Nice. 🎉🎉🎉 . clean as..
hey Andrea, next one is History of Death Metal - 1 Riff per year from 1980 to 2023?
멋지네요!
I love these history videos! Are you planning on doing more subgenre histories like Power Metal or Nu Metal?
Who knows, it depends on how well I can bring this stuff on youtube. Maybe not all the subgenres are the right fit for this kind of videos
Now THIS is History I wish they taught me in public school.
The album that got me into thrash was Annihilator's "Never, Neverland". I found it on cassette at my local thrift shop (R.I.P. Thrifty's in NH), and have been hooked ever since. That was about 8 years ago.
Good info, but GREAT jamming 🤘🤘🤘!!
Crisix and Angelus Apatrida mentioned (twice)!
Spanish metal is finally breaking boundaries
This country has a lot of hidden gems such as Stravaganzza and Saratoga
So glad to see havok and warbringer included
Andrea! Good stuff! Keep up the amazing work man and always stay passionate bro 👍👌
I am surprised that you mentioned HEXEN! Such an underrated band, I love both their albums
Самый крутой канал по гитаре!
This is gonna be good.
6:30 is absolutely banger
damn that was tight
Hello Braza!
i really like the variety of the people who worked in this production😂😂
14:15 after the first 2 zeros i already knew what was comming up lol
Xentrix's Seven Words last year was really good, as well.
One bad ass production!!!!!!!!!
hell yeah!!!
Great 🤟🍻 Could you do Hardcore Punk? It can be very interesting 😎
Funny this is a new video also for the thrash metal have any one here heard of labyrinth out of Houston Texas
Excellent. This SG is very nice and sounds great. You didn't mention Suicidal Tendencies, you don't put them in the Thrash category?
He must’ve forgotten seeing as DRI was there
Il migliore…🎸💥🎶
That look on his face at the 0:32 is priceless
History of Doom metal next. If im not mistaken, the first doom metal sound is from 1969, I Want You She So Heavy by The Beatles. The last 1 minute of the song was stuff of Sabbath. Year later Sabbath came out with the song “ Black Sabbath”
Молодец 🤘🤘🤘 Лысый металлист🤘
Awesome content!
History of Prog Metal?? PLeaaase
love the fact that you play very obvious legendary licks of thrash metal but you change just a little bit so it is not really what it is
Yayayayayayayay!!!!
Un po' di Thrash Metal non si nega a nessuno!
I'm more a core kid/death metal fan, but what I really love is the "thrashness"
