Thanks!
Great video
Thanks!
Is that thermometer aftermarket? What is it??
A small Weber and not fancy stuff and it looks and I think it feels better than the fancy recipe that I always follow.
Hi Jim, the charcoal basket worked great for the ribs they were really tender and moist they looked delicious, Hi Anne.
Thanks Rick! We were happy with them!
Great tutorial video!
Thank you for sharing.
For these added thermomether, do you use a grommet or some kind of base so the probe goes in?
No, I just inserted the thermometer and tightened the nut that comes with it.
@@TosTinManEasyCooking thanks a lot for replying. I’m enjoying your videos. Best
Great Job. Thank you for sharing.
If you would have wrapped them in aluminal foil half way done they would have been super tender
Nice cook as always Jim, and it passed the Annie test!
Thanks! Yeah, Annie was happy!
So now I know I can cook ribs on the Jumbo Joe!! I just bought one a few weeks ago. I've only cooked poppers and wings on it so far. Thanks!
Cool! Give it a try!
Is the actual grilling grate 18 inches across? I bought a SnS Travel Kettle and I want to use my 18 inch grates but the SnS Travel Kettle measures just over 17 inches. I can't even close the lid on the Travel Kettle when I put an actual 18 inch grate. If the Jumbo Joe grate is actually 18 inches, I'm dumping the Travel Kettle.
Love my slow n sear basket on the JJ!!
It is nice!
Slow n Sear needs to make this aluminized version for the 22"
good idea with the cast iron full of water :)
Thank you!
Ok. You you made me a believer. I'm getting the slow n sear charcoal basket for my jumbo joe. Thanks. Nice cook.
Thanks! This worked really good!
Looks good. You are patient.
Thank you! :)
Subscribed!! I just introduced myself to your channel and am surfing your channel. You are my kinda guy. Straight to the point very little filler.
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Wow, that jumbo joe did a great job on that rack of ribs. Good idea using that skillet for moisture. They looked so delicious. Thanks for sharing😃
Thanks! Yeah, they turned out pretty good!
Looks really nice Jim!
Thank you!
The Slow & Sear for the 22.5 inch Weber Kettle Grill has a built in Water Reservoir which holds almost a 1/2 gallon of HOT Water , so another pot or pan of water is not required or needed !
Jumbo Joe is only 18”
looks so delicious!

Greetings! Thanks for watching!
I have the same temp gauge on my kettle, that's awesome!
Nice!
Nice cook Jim! I think you'll be able to get 6 hours in the basket if you load it up. Oh, and that was an impressive smoke ring!
Thanks Dave! Next time I'll try using a little more charcoal and see how it goes.
Great looking ribs bro. I may just have to cook them on my Jumbo Joe today. I'm waiting on a part for my kettle and I'm supposed to be doing a collaboration. Thanks for sharing the cook and info.
Thanks! It worked out pretty good!
Never attempted lownslow on my jumbo joe. Just figured it.be too cramped for ribs. Really surprised how you manage to fit them in. I might have to try this myself now! Maybe cutting a rib or two off the end might make things a little less cramped.
Great job!
Thanks! It was a tight squeeze but they turned out good!
great job jim really tastes great i also did 2 racks in the instant pot for a quick meal for me an couple friends:)
Thanks! That sounds good!
Great job TTM!! 👍 Those ribs looked fantastic...good color (love the sumac seasoning) and I think the steam from the water in your cast iron pan really made a difference in terms of tenderness and helping the cooking process! The Slow n Sear basket seems to be working good with your Jumbo Joe! Also, The inside of those ribs looked perfect!!
YUM 😋 💕⭐️💕⭐️
Thanks! Yeah, that Slow 'N Sear basket seems to work pretty good!
Great video! I am looking for ways of optimizing the use of my Weber Jumbo Joe -- due to its portability -- this video gives great confidence we can do many other things! I think I'm gonna order one of those charcoal baskets as well. Thanks!
Thanks! I've cooked some pretty good stuff in this little grill!
Thanks
“ Annie the taste test dog” 😁
Nice video 🍖🍖🍖
Thank you!
Love the video dude I am looking at buying a Jumbo Joe as I have all the other Weber cookers but not this one.
Thanks! It's a great little grill!
TosTinMan EasyCooking only problem here in the UK it’s not available. To get it from the states will cost me a fortune in import tax
@@CiderTalbotToo That's a bummer.
I can't find a jumbo joe with a thermometer. ?
I added the thermometer myself.
Good Video, I thought you were going to take water pan off fire with your bare hands, If you did you would have been my hero. I did like innovative way to infuse moisture into meat, Ribs looked great.
I have question as to how you would cook marinated chicken aka store bought terriaki chicken marinade that is messy. On a weber 22 would you use weber baskets cook indirect then possible bring baskets together to sear. Or indirect with slow and sear. I have both but I have just started the bbq journey.
I've accidentally grabbed hot cast iron handles so many times. Luckily I didn't do it here. :) Either one of those ways should work okay for the chicken.
Avocado oil :O I've never seen that, I'll have to find some :)
Awesome video! I love all of your jumbo joe videos. By any chance, do you have a product name or link of the cast iron receptacle you used? Thanks again for the videos!!!
Thank you! The cast iron dish is similar to this but I'm not sure if it's the exact same one. amzn.to/2KEAleV
2:21 that’s what she said
🤣🤣😂
OK, that settles it, I gotta get me some pig ribs. Got some new seasonings from Heaven Made Products that would be great on ribs. If Annie likes it, they must be good...
These turned out pretty good on the Jumbo Joe. They just fit!
Rip xxxtentacion
Drool 👍😉😉😉
Thanks!
IF YOU'RE LOOKIN" , YOU'RE NOT COOKIN" !!!!!
Cooking ribs meat side down?? Yeah you don't know what you're doing lol
