- Hi! I'm back with a new video! Sorry for the lack of content but I've been busy with real life commitments and actually kinda stay away from internet especially twitter because you know what I mean right? Moomoos including me are hurting, suffering and frustrated so I keep myself busy watching a lot of MAMAMOO videos and the idea of making this video came up! It makes me recollect the reasons why I love MAMAMOO so much which is one of them is because they are such a great performer. Making this did cheer me up and I hope fellow Moomoos will feel the same watching it:) Part 2 is coming real soon! XOXO

Instead of encourage, the company most likely force byul to rap because they downgrade her vocal when the fact she enter the company for her vocal.. i still remember when byul told that she's crying when others are practicing for vocal but she's stuck at writing rap.. earlier debut, she also felt left out because the others harmonize perfectly together but she only been on the side.. that hard time make Moonbyul become Moonbyul now.. Now, she confidently sing also.. I'm very glad for it..😭

@@hazleen918 there're two side of it actually. IMHO she would be judged so much by listener if she debuted as singer at the first place. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but she still cannot harmonize well. I'm not a professional singer tho, I'm just a musician. All her harmonizing part is mastered through continuous practice (repetition)...while the other 3 already can harmonize naturally. I think this is also one of her biggest insecurity. Sometimes (but she improved a lot in these 2 years) she couldn't really catch the scale (pitch). I noticed it in her yongkong byulkong VLive or MMMtv sometimes when they're messing around.
So my point is, if she refuse to rap from the beginning, people will only see her flaw..... completely ignoring her beautiful timbre. I think the company knows what they're doing back then.
Being able to harmonize takes time.
Fortunately she can still learn it while being a rapper as she is now (I HOPE RBW DOESN'T STOP HER VOCAL TRAINING until she gain the same level of confidence as the others).
She is on the top idol rapper list now. And rapper Byul now gain so much credit through her writings, right? 63. Under her name. Good money.
I'd like to add ....well this is my personal opinion....(I may just have bad taste); Eventhough Wheein and Solar also can rap (LOL Mc Dduk Ddak), if they trained to be rapper - they won't ever be as good as Byul.
The fact that the main rapper's vocals are better than the vocal positions in many girl groups

Yessss. Mamamoo sing live. People think that's the end of it but singing live is more powerful than it seems. Singing live gives you the chance to divert your voice from the song. That means, you can do adlibs, you can shout to the fans and not be overshadowed by backing tracks. Singing live gives them more power to diversify their performances depending on the location.
Movie premiere performance? Shout iconic lines from the movie.
School performance? Shout the university.
Song about dad jokes? Fill in more dad jokes!

Mamamoo is above the word Idol because they're true artists. They push the boundaries all the time and you can't help but stop and listen. I listen to everything from slipknot to kpop and honestly they deserve more recognition them some. I honestly feel they are Grammy worthy.

As an Army I've been through the phase of discussing how underrated BTS is compared to boygroups of big3, to actually see BTS in its present glory. I want to relive the same experience with Mamamoo too!

It is so sad now popularity is more important. If you have big fanbase and from a big company you are already popular and talent doesnt matter. People appreciate anyway whatever you do. But if not you are underrated. Only true fans can see this talent l am so proud of them even if l am not moomoo and any fandom. but if someone gives me a chance to go a kpop concert l would absolutely go theirs.

Love this and you made good points. One of the biggest reasons Mamamoo is good not only do they sing live but they always try different tactics. It could be the same song and each time it could be different. The most important thing to me that a lot of kpop idols, artists, and/or singers don't do or see very often is that connecting with fans or the audience in general. They do a lot of letting the fans join in and they have fun doing it. When they're on stage they look like they're having fun. And i have fun watching them. Screw the nic choreo and looks, when you seem and look having fun its going to be fun.

How can I not Stan them....? To me it’s strange, personally I think of them as a whole and do not have any bias. In this kpop group, there is no center...everyone shines. They really touched my heart.

It's quite frustrating but I lowkey don't really want they got so popular internationally because you know the bigger the fandom, the more toxic it becomes but yeah their talent deserve to be recognized wider but idk it's just going international may do more harm to them with the toxic western media. But of course I'm all in for their world tour but for them to enter international scene I'm kinda afraid. It's a dilemma for me.

But all in all, it beats the hell out of me as to people hyping overrated groups at the expense of talented groups.

I love how mamamoo really use their live singing to personalize their performance for each audience. That’s why if you watch mamamoo stages, even if it’s the same song the performance is never the same. So glad I found this group😊
That's one of the cons(?) of being a moomoo, you have to watch *every single performance* of *every* song you find anywhere, because they are all gonna be unique🥺 Sometimes I look at my playlists with different ones for live stages or shows, comeback stages, radio performances and general faves, and there are so many faves that I don't even know what to listen to. Add to that their solo songs😳🥺 Honestly the struggle is real😅
I just realized something even though they don't have those EXTREMELY hard choreos that some kpop groups have.. THEY KILL THE STAGE? like you're still watching them, their stage presence makes it seem like they did a hard choreo.. it's so captivating .. i could never watch some stages from other kpop groups but Mamamoo i"m proud to be a radish ♡

Many people are saying they are the best, but I don't think the company or general public, or even fans treat them equally(it's only my opinion and what i saw from videos), because at the brand reputation, even when they have successfull comeback, we only can see Hwasa at high position, other gils are much low ore they are not at all, while at other groups (not only from big companies)all members are in list and have similar position.
@@mihailgavrishchiv7972 that doesn't describe it quite right, yes hwasa gets almost every comeback the most attention, based on her husky vocal color and appearance. BUT if you want to compare it to other groups, it is quite common. Imo because mmm has only four members, the fandom can easily get to know the others, so yeah, sometimes some things are contradictive to each other.
I only know hwasa at first cus of the song Maria. But didnt know she was from Mamamoo. Saw their AYA dance video and instantly fall in love with them.
One thing I know is that mamamoo performance never disappoints

Every member complements each other. No one out shines another. They share the spotlight equally. Having said so, the best thing I also really like about them is that they didn’t have to consciously and fairly share the spotlight, (it wasn’t forced) it just come naturally because each member has something very very special and something unique to offer. I didn’t sense any jealousy or competition between them. I feel they support and respect for each other which also makes them gel out as a group and standout as an individual artist. I totally understand why they may disband. Each one is a star on their own.
If a certain k-pop gg is nicknamed queens mainly because of their popularity, then we can call Mamamoo goddesses, because they are fabulous, brilliant, and one of the most talented and respectable girl groups of our generation.
They are rightfully on the same level as other western girlgroups like Little Mix.

I was ok with watching their MV's and listening to their music, but after stumbling into this video, OMG this is another level of awesomeness of this OT4!... Now I'm truly regretting for not stanning them before and praying for a miracle so I can go to their concert.

A true performer really knows the SATISFACTION of their fans, having a fanservice is not that easy but look at them they really make momoos (if I'm not mistaken to their fandom name💓) happy by just them playfully doing their job but a professional artist.. These girls deserves to be STAN, because believe me or not the chemistry and bond that they have will never be seen in some Gband/Bband or as an artist. I may not know what are some of their phases but I know that these girls re THE BEST💓
