.... depending. If you are in your teens and mid 20s, wear fashion nova. However, if you are in your late 20s above, choose elegant and classy styles which fashion nova do not offer. Hey! It’s your styles, your body, your image. At the end of the day, wear whatever you like but know that certain styles command more respect.

"Is it just an ok dress? Or is it a wow dress? If it's just ok, then simply don't buy it." Wise advice here ladies. I've made the mistake of buying items that were just "ok" and regretted it. It's a waste of money to buy "ok" items. It's much better to pass on those and save your money for the wow items!

Things such as normal tshirts, skirts, tops, cotton dresses etc that you would wear on a regular basis, most of these items will be available on sale even in good brands. This way you can buy more essential clothes at the same budget, and save more money to spend the WOW outfits.

I watch your videos to gain some fashion knowledge .... but u always make a goal on ur videos to attract men... I dress up for me ,for my own satisfaction . Not to attract any random person. Most importantly, do u suggest, by watching ur videos if any lady get a rich man , they should stop wearing elegant dresses????as they already got one!!!!

Everyone's so shocked she's saying "to attract men" when she's always been open about being "that kind of channel" from the very beginning and she doesn't try to hide it. Specifically, attracting quality men from high society and embracing your femininity. Sure, you can dress well for yourself or for other women if you want, these are good tips for that kind of reasons too which is also why I watch it but I don't judge her for her reasons. Believe it or not, a lot of people actually think the same way she does especially the rich ones and I get that. Besides, you might not think or admit it but a lot of the times you dress to attract a mate too whatever gender you may be. Not everyone thinks "men are trash" you know.

Sequin detail even for daytime and career dresses were fashionable for a season or two in the early 2010’s. Most of it looked terrible and the trend didn’t last. I have one dress from that era, a simple, straight cut, long sleeve dark rayon knit, with a draped neckline and embroidered sequined detail on the shoulders. It’s not overdone or “gaudy.” I retired it to loungewear. It was marketed as a workplace/career dress but whenever I wore to work I was always overdressed.

    • @BuilderBobda
      @BuilderBobda Před 3 lety +50

All the ones she suggested were tailored dress to the bodies. They were all figure flattering. In her other videos, she talks about how you want clothes that follow along the shape of your body and to not wear baggy clothing. She’s a fan of more structured dresses. I definitely suggest watching her video on how to dress for your shape since she might have more options that appeal to you. It may also explain her reasoning for why some styles of clothes are more elegant than others.

This video shook me! I went to a dance a few months ago and I was wearing a maxi green silk dress that was not formfitting at all. Everyone at the dance looked like they were going clubbing with extremely short mini dresses, I was worried that I was going to get negative attention as I was dressed way differently. To my surprise, everyone complimented me on my dress and how unique and elegant it was. I notice that whenever I wear something I feel is a little too classy or not something I feel anyone else would wear, I always get a lot of positive feedback and this is why!

I am definitly fond of your work. As for myself, I was raised in a French middle class family, by VERY strict, conservative parents. No yoga pants, no mini skirts, no high heels, no make up until 16/17yo.
Basically....regular, basic white shirts, black/marine trousers. My clothes where never cheap but never expensive.
This way, my personality showed off more than my curves, I was lucky to be thin, medium breasts; etc.
And actually...this sobriety ( that I liked to improve with a few fancy jewels for instance) allowed me to meet a young, handsome Belgian baron, from an old aristocratic family. And this sobriety allowed be to be welcome and accepted in social upper classes that were not mine at the start.
We've been happily married for 12 years now :)

Or you can become rich and successful and dress how you want. I rather build my own empire and have my own money than dress a certain way to attract rich men. If he broke up with you, will you truly be doing well by yourself? Exactly. Never depend on anyone. It’s ok to love and trust others, but don’t depend completely on another person. It’s a stupid business move. When you are successful by yourself, you run the game and you can do more for others.

Elegance and a sense of mystery go hand in hand. When you display all of your physical attributes, no one looks further, and you have just diminished yourself. If you show just enough to pique interest, without putting your body on display, you have just let people know that you consider yourself more than your physical attributes, and they look further. That is when a man loves you for who you are, rather than what you look like.

Doing something just to get people’s approval isn’t good for you. If it makes you happy, fine, but it usually doesn’t last long because you need to love yourself first. If you like your style, for example, you won’t care that much if someone doesn’t. After all it’s quite subjective. Again, this is my opinion, hope I didn’t offend anyone:/

These were my thoughts too! Nothing against women who want that, I just think that she's focusing a bit too much on one type of women and one type of men... And I even think, that only wanting to attract men can seem very cheep! I love a good classy look, but I think that personal preferences should be respected more! Like, what if I love my wide shoulders? Again, tastes are different and I don't think that there's only one kind of being "classy" and I personally don't think you should look like that to attract men... Even though I normally like most of her tips, I was a bit disappointet by some of her statements... (Sorry for this long paragraph ❤️) Just a bit more empowerment and variety please!!! 💋

Confidence is attractive, yes, but it's not going to make up for dressing badly....no amount of confidence can turn a man-repller dress into something nice looking. Plus people need to be aware of being over confident. There's a balance. Confident is sexy, in both men and women, but over-confidence is a complete turn off. A bit of vulnerability is attractive, in both men and women, not someone who is always confident about everything.

I just think that REAL women are not so skinny! We carry babies & our hips spread & we have a harder time keeping trim as we age! I have modeled for over a decade & I'm 5'11 220 lb & even in 2020, its amazing how hard it is for plus sized women! I doubt I'll ever be on a runway but if it is at the cost of being a stick figure? They can keep it! I love & embrace my curves & just got engaged to a wonderful man who loves my curves as well! Yes, be classy but confidence takes one a long way in any situation. Btw I was very fortunate to come from parents who afforded us the higher end lifestyle of the working class & have been to many places & in many situations & social circles...she is right about less being more. I've always struggled with my weight, but it's not even about that. Tbh it's all about loving oneself & having confidence, regardless if we consider ourselves too heavy or too thin. Being healthy first beyond the # on the scale. & doing things naturally, instead of what society has normalized. I was raised in the south, girl & unless a person has experienced the culture first hand, I cannot explain to u how hard it is to maintain a healthy weight, much less lose weight, if everyone in ur family is a great cook & raised u knowing how to feed ya husband lol esp if ya metabolism is slow, like mine! They definitely don't look cheap or frumpy, but I'm not 100% sure if I'd call it elegant either... maybe casual? The problem is if I try to dress really elegantly (I'm talking about the cuts of the garments), you can really tell that's not really my style, it clashes with my personality and it just looks odd on me. @@candice44441 it is serious matter. It leads to a closed repetitive cycle of objectification for us females. And all of us need a break from that and be acknowledged as wholesome creatures, not just pleasure objects or eye candy

@Talia Moreau a man with money will leave someone if they don't have elegant mind and soul and definitely will leave you , if they know you love them for money. Classiness and elegance comes from personality not money.

Neena roses nope, I firstly dress for myself before anybody else. You know nothing really. If one has a man, one wouldn’t feel the need to dress provocatively precisely, it’s not classy, you want to keep your assets private for your man only like in the bedroom. It just means one doesn’t have anything to prove when one dresses that way, otherwise one comes across as attention seeking if they wanna dress unsophisticated . It’s just my opinion.

For someone who has wide hips-the wider shoulder creates a more proportional hourglass silhouette. I would look really good in the white puffy sleeve dress and the star-trek dress and the long sleek dress that looks amazing on my tall friend with narrow hips would look dumpy and horrible on me.

i'm a non-single gay woman and I'm a big fan of Anna's videos. I like dressing, feeling, and looking classy, and Anna's videos really keep me in check (and luckily confirm a lot of my own ideas for/against certain cuts/clothing styles). I also really appreciate that she just tells it how it is; sorry, there are clothes that make some (most, really) look cheap 💁 you are in charge of the message you put out there--I'm not saying that gives anybody the right to objectify you!

When it comes to lingerie, wear what makes You feel beautiful. The loveliness and confidence it gives you is priceless. Just avoid the "tarty" pieces. This is for you, yourself. Personally, lovely silks and stretch lace pieces are a favorite. Buy a few special items and be prepared to give them special care (like hand washing). Avoid red and black combinations, or anything that looks like something a sex professional might wear; buy beautiful, feminine lingerie that makes you feel beautiful.

While I don’t necessarily agree with the delivery of your statements... I do get what you are saying.
But let me leave you with this... I spent my early adult years dressing for women, and I was not happy.
I spent my late 20’s/early 30’s dressing for men, and I was not happy.
I recently started dressing for myself and it’s the happiest I’ve ever been.
I am also accepted and welcomed into every atmosphere and event I attend. If I’m whispered about, I do not care.

I love you Anna! Your videos are not just to land a man from high society, I think they're as well to live a better life, find success and send the right messages about you to others. At the beginning I was hesitant to watch your videos but then they became some my favorites in CZcams. Being a lady, command respect with elegance elevates your self esteem not only your social status! I'm a total fan!

I’ve always wondered why I would only like one dress or no dress out of every hundred in a store. It is very hard to find the dress that suits your body shape, your skin tone and looks classy and not cheap at the same time. So when I do find the ‘jackpot’ dress I am excited for days! Thanks again for the video! I’ll keep doing what I’m doing!
