    Flagrant is a comedy show that delivers unfiltered, unapologetic, and unruly hot takes directly to your dome piece. In an era dictated by political correctness, hosts Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh, along with AlexxMedia and Mark Gagnon, could care less about sensitivities. If it’s funny and flagrant it flies. If you are sensitive this podcast is not for you. But if you miss the days of comedians actually being funny instead of preaching to a choir then welcome to The Flagrancy.

    Cricket players with a bit of practice would eat baseball for breakfast. First of all, there are no gloves for fielding and you not just have to catch but practise throwing back at the stumps to run out. From a batting point of view it is more difficult to hit the ball off the bounce, if a bowler throws like a ball in baseball, we call it a 'full toss' and 9/10 times the batsman would hit it out of the park. So basically its a home run on a every ball if Chris Gayle or Kohli comes to baseball😂

There is also no comparing the skill and technical ability of those two sports to association footballers and not just cause they use their feet, it’s an entirely different level 😂. That doesn’t mean you won’t have great individual players though, but almost none of them would be the same type as basketball and NFL players

      @@adamburdt8794 Big and slow was more specific to basketball but then that NFL player you are talking about is still too big, they aren’t going to have the footwork at that size and it’s then about running with the ball at your feet too, the close quick control, interplay etc etc. The stamina and endurance to run 7 miles a game, not 2. Also association footballers actually still record faster speeds overall, which in fairness I was surprised at I assumed the fasted NFL player would be above that, that’s probably while they are in pads though in fairness. You could even make the case that Messi being small helped him to be a skilful and technical freak with the ball to some extent as well

I know most of the Americans don’t agree with this but it is what it is, it’s really hard for them to face a hard ball coming at 80 - 90 mph which bounces on the pitch which makes it even more difficult for them, but for the cricketers it’s not that hard to face a ball that doesn’t bounce (full toss as we call it in cricketting terms) it’s just my opinion every sport has it’s own difficulties and I respect that 😊

    The thing about the soil is actually right, idk if that bit was trolling. A black soil pitch under the sun dries up and cracks and gets better for spin/slow bowlers. A red soil pitch behaves differently and similarly a mixed soil pitch. The conditions around the ground like wind speed and humidity too affect the discourse of the game.

  • @XAWoke
    @XAWoke Před 27 dny

    Variables in the baseball pitching can be the speed and wind influence on the swing. Crickt bowling has all these + the role of soil (deck) on which the lands. The deck can further influence bounce & spin. The cricket pitch can be made with two different behaviours on each side. So just forget about the baseball player facing a 50~95 mi/h ball coming at him with all these variables & Reflexes at slips is another dimention to master...
