Hi Murray, I've been lucky to enjoy 60 years in the mountains which was a bit hampered at the beginning of last year when I was diagnosed with small bowel cancer. I'm the other side of it now, hopefully, but being stuck indoors I discovered your vlogs and I have to say they helped sustain me when I was missing the hills a wee bit. I'm now back out, much to the dismay, I'm sure, of my long suffering friends, but thank you.
Glad to hear you're ok Tony, and back out in the hills. I only discovered my passion for the hills a little over a year ago, but already I couldn't be without it, can't imagine what it would be like being grounded after 60 years. All the best, and hopefully I'll get the pleasure of meeting you out there some day.

Thanks guys, my Consultant said because I was so fit from years of tramping around the hills it helped in my recovery - I didn't mention the gallons of ale I'd consumed afterwards, but I am thankful that something I love doing might have helped me.
I can just imagine your wife saying 'if you've got enough energy to go up that mountain you can fix that shelf!'.

Murray you are an inspiration to all who love the mountains. I live down in Cornwall and have visited glencoe on 5 occasions, I get reduced to tingles and tears every time I'm there. Always have Tom petty on in the motor. "free falling". Keep it up mate. 👍

Wow it is so beautiful over there in Scotland. I definitely have to come for a long holiday with my camera. Luckily I'm still fit so I shall be climbing as many mountains as I can. Meanwhile I shall watch your vlogs.

Hi Greg, the campervan is great - I have spent many nights sleeping in the back of a car and the camper makes it a wee bit more luxurious (it did take me about ten years to save up for one though!!)

Cracking … I wonder was this a few Fridays ago? We had had terrible weather since our return to the UK but there was one bright spot so we managed to make it up another Munro (Ben Lomond) …. Not a breath of wind up there on that day … thanks for sharing ..
Absolutely correct - it was a one day wonder and break in the weather. I saw the mountain forecast was good and went for it - helped that I was on my holidays and lucky to have been able to do it TBH - a cracking day in the mountains of Glencoe :)
