I figured it out. Batman knew there was a glitch in the floor beneath him so he knew that when he cut the rope with the batarang the guard would go straight through the floor into the backrooms where all his fall damage would be negated. As we all know the backrooms is a lot more reliable as a prison than Arkham Asylum
i'm not the biggest fans of guns, due to them being loud as fuck, but i do believe that its the person who kills. the weapon is merely a tool. especially, since it is NOT alive.
